Still ain't happy about this, but for you folks that will need to DVR it, the last episode to conclude a 41 year history making run for the ABC soap opera All My Children will be September 23.
Yep, the soap that has been on the air since 1970 and was an iconic part of many people's lives has been canceled and will be replaced with a cooking talk show called The Chew.
Yecch. Screw The Chew.
But before All My Children leaves us forever and its time slot gets replaced with that abominable cooking talk show, we AMC fans will get the treat of seeing
former cast members such as Eva LaRue, Carol Burnett, Jennifer
Bassey, and Melissa Claire Egan just to point out a few blasts from the
past make appearances in addition to others who have yet to be announced.
The
network is also promising that the final shows will wrap up storylines
and celebrate the AMC families like the Martins, Chandlers, Brents,
Hubbards, Montgomerys, Colbys and Courtlandts that we've gotten to know, love and sometimes
loathe over the years.
And oh yes, we can't forget Pine Valley's biggest diva, Erica Kane.
