TransGriot Perv Watch- Kentucky Fried GOP Predator

As of this moment the GOP controlled Kentucky legislature is attempting to pass HB 326 an anti-trans bill once again aimed at school kids

But if they are looking for the real predators, the Kentucky Republican Party needs to look in their own ranks for them because the predators you're looking for are #StillNotTrans

But we have overwhelming evidence of republican Party officials or legislators doing kinky things in public bathrooms or doing the things they screech at others not to do.  .

The latest example of a GOP predator being busted for his crimes is in the state of Kentucky.

71 year old former Campbell County District Judge Timothy Nolan has pleaded guilty to numerous felony charges that included human trafficking of adults, promoting human trafficking of minors and unlawful transaction with minors.

He was indicted on 28 felony counts and two misdemeanor counts, but as part of a plea deal with Atty General Andy Beshear (D) Special Prosecutions Division, Nolan pleaded guilty to 21 counts against 19 victims for crimes that occurred between 2010 and 2017.

One of those crimes was coercing a child under age 18 to engage in commercial sexual activity

Nolan was an enthusiastic voice for the Tea Party on many local issues and a local campaigner for Donald Trump.  Nolan was elected to the Campbell County School Board in 2016

Prosecutors recommended sentences totaling 20 years plus a $100,000 fine   Nolan is being held in the Campbell County Detention center pending sentencing, which is scheduled to occur on March 29.

Perv Watch- HERO Hater Named In Lawsuit

One of the patterns that keeps emerging as I do these TransGriot Perv Watch posts is that they are predominately white, male, Republican and fundamentalist Christian.

In the first Perv Watch post of 2018, I stay close to home, and we discover something that shouldn't have been a surprise to me as we successfully fought to pass the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance in May 2014  and went through the repeal fight in 2015. 

One of our HERO haters possibly engaging in the behavior he was falsely accusing the Houston trans community of. 

Meet Jared Woodfill,  the president of the SPLC certified hate group the Conservative  Republicans of Texas.    Woodfill is the former chair of the Harris County Republican Party who made an unsuccessful bid to get the chairmanship of the Texas Republican Party

Seems that Jared was named as a defendant in a lawsuit against his law partner, former Republican state rep Paul Pressler      Pressler is accused of sexually assaulting Gareld Rollins over a period of 35 years, beginning when that person was just 14 years old.

In addition to Woodfill being named in the lawsuit, it also lists as defendants Pressler's wife Nancy Pressler, First Baptist Church,  the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and SBTS president Rev. Paige Patterson.   

Pressler claimed this is just an attempt to 'extort money from the Southern Baptist Convention ' and he will fight it tooth and nail.

Umm hmm.   Will be interesting to see how this turns out 

   

TransGriot Perv Watch - KY GOP County Chair Busted In Bathroom

It's becoming increasingly clear who the perverts are that the Republicans are talking about when they holler about 'no men in women's restrooms'.

Themselves.

Meet 54 year old dentist David Narramore, the now former chair of the Letcher County Republican Party. Dave got busted for doing his Larry Craig impression in a Kingsport, TN Belk store.

Narramore is accused of rubbing his foot up against the foot of a Belk store employee in the next stall, then exposing himself.   That employee happened to be a loss prevention officer, and he was hauled into the store's  office by security personnel and detained until the po-po arrived.

Narramore then tried to resist arrest, got tasered for trying to do so and was taken to the Kingsport city jail.   Note that Narramore also wasn't wearing a dress when he was taken to jail or when he engaged in his behavior that got him busted..

He resigned his position as party chair following his arrest and according to a Kentucky GOP spokesperson his no longer affiliated with the Republican Party of Kentucky

Don't worry boo.  maybe GOProud or the Log Cabin Republicans will offer you a membership..

 

TransGriot Perv Watch- Guess Who Wasn't Caught In This Houston Area Child Predator Sting?

Police and sheriff departments across the Houston area recently conducted an online sting operation that lasted two months,  netted sixteen arrests and was geared toward ferreting out child predators.

Police participating in 'Operation Broken Heart' arrested thirteen men who were busted as they attempted to have sex with children they met online.   Another three men were arrested and charged with state and federal crimes that included possession, distribution and promotion of child pornography.

Two of those 13 people busted included a now former Alief ISD police officer Robert Haney and Juan Pena, a registered sex offender.

So how many Houston area trans people were caught in that sting?    ZERO

An FYI Moment for you.  There have been far more Republican politicians and pastors busted in these stings across the country than there have been the trans folks they demonize.

Marinate on that point as we approach the upcoming Texas special oppression session and the GOP Noise Machine starts turning up the volume on the anti-trans hatred in their attempt to pass anti-trans legislation that failed in the regular session because it was a bad law..

And note that all these arrested menz were not only not in drag, but are #StillNotTrans.

Oppressor Kenneth Adkins Found Guilty Of Eight Child Molestation Counts

We always say in TBLGQ world that those people who adamantly and loudly hate us, attack our humanity and oppose our human rights advances are usually folks who doth protesteth too much and are deeply closeted when it comes to their own sexualiy or gender identity until the skeletons come bursting out of the closet.

One of our oppressors in 57 year old former Brunswick, GA pastor Kenneth Adkins is a prime example of that.  

He was the carpetbagging kneegrow frontman the white fundies and Republicans in Jacksonville deployed as a useful fool to successfully attack and shut down the passage of their LGBTQ inclusive NDO a month after HERO went down in flames, and made some nasty and hateful anti-gay comments via Twitter in the wake of the June 2016 Pulse Latin Night terror attack.in Orlando.

[I’ve] been through so much with these Jacksonville homosexuals that I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve!!

Adkins was arrested on eight counts of child molestation and yesterday, it took a Glynn County jury only one hour to convict him of all eight charges after a week long trial.

He was accused of having a then 16 year old teenage male and his then 15 year old teenage female girlfriend under the guise of 'mentoring them', perform sexual acts in front of him at his church to ensure they were 'doing it right'   He eventually joined in on the acts, and sent the male accuser two photos of his penis.  

There were also electronic communications between the female and him from 2014 revealed during the trial.

Well Kenneth, we're now having the schadenfreude laced moment of watching you get what you deserve and justice being served for your crimes.

He will be sentenced on April 25, and because of Georgia's strict mandatory minimum law and Adkins' prior criminal convictions, he's facing spending the rest of his life in jail.

TransGriot Perv Watch- Oklahoma TBLGQ Oppressor Busted For Child Prostitution

How deliciously apropos in the wake of the Texas senate passage of SB 6, the Texas Transgender Oppression Act which is laughingly claimed to be about 'protecting our children', that another conservative Republican legislator gets busted on child prostitution charges.

If the GOP was serious about protecting our children, they would ban Republican male legislators from the bathrooms.

This time it's north of the Red River in Oklahoma, and the GOP legislative perv that got busted for being in a hotel room with an underage by is Oklahoma state senator  Ralph Shortey (R-Oklahoma City) .

Shortey voted to advance a failed trans oppression (bathroom) bill out of committee last year that has stirred up anti-trans animus in the state,  and now he's been busted  for engaging in the predatory behavior against our youth he and his fellow Republicans repeatedly accuse transgender people of engaging in.

Shortey was also Trump's Oklahoma campaign manager during the state's GOP primary.

The married Shortey was busted on March 9 in a Moore, OK Super 8 motel room with a 17 year old male juvenile with a history of soliciting himself online according to his parents and the Moore PD.  

When they arrived at the motel room there was according to the Moore PD a strong smell of marijuana and an open box of condoms in the juvenile's backpack.   Shortey claimed he was there 'just hanging out with a friend'  

Communications records from the teen's Kindle Fire that was also in his backpack say otherwise.   KFOR-TV reported that when the teen told Sen. Shortey that he needed money for spring break, Shortey allegedly responded, "Would you be interested in sexual stuff?"

Shortey was arrested and charged with three felony counts of engaging in child prostitution, engaging in prostitution within 1000 feet of a church, and transporting a minor for prostitution  

The Oklahoma Senate in the wake of this serious unanimously voted to strip Shortey of his legislative privileges.  While he still gets to collects his monthly Senate paycheck and can still vote on legislation, he has been stripped of all committee assignments, barred from his office and stripped of his right to have an executive assistant.

Hopefully the voters of his senate district will strip him of his legislative seat in the next election cycle.

Freedom Oklahoma noted Shortey's support of the failed OK bathroom bill in their comment about his arrest to the Norman Transcript:

"We find it highly ironic that Senator Shortey voted to advance these bills out of committee and less than a year later, he was caught in what appears to be actual predatory behavior toward a vulnerable youth.  

There has never been a legitimate recorded incident in Oklahoma of a transgender person harming anyone in a restroom, yet there are numerous accounts of predatory behavior by anti LGBTQ legislators who have taken bigoted votes akin to the one Senator Shortey cast last year. "

And once again I and the trans community collectively ask, who are the perverts?   And FYI, Shortey wasn't in drag when he committed his crimes.

TransGriot Perv Watch- Jacksonville Oppressor Kenneth Adkins Busted On Two Molestation Charges

It's been a while since I wrote a TransGriot Perv Watch post, and this one is too delicious and chock full of schadenfreude to not talk about another #stillnottrans anti-trans hypocrite.

If you were keeping your eye on what happened earlier this year in Jacksonville, FL when they tried literally a month after HERO went down in right wing instigated flames and failed to pass an HRO amendment that added sexual orientation and gender identity that , you would have heard me mention the name of Kenneth Adkins.

Adkins was the Brunswick, GA based megachurch pastor who was meddling in Jacksonville human rights business as the out of town frontman for the white evangelicals and GOP activists opposing the Jacksonville HRO.  He helped stir up so much negativity about the HRO that the Jacksonville City Council caved and pulled it in February.

Adkins also declared in the wake of the Pulse nightclub mass shooting in Orlando that the 'homosexuals got what they deserved'.

Thanks to a tip from one of my longtime TransGriot readers in Brenda Lunger, I was pointed to this story on the  'Joe My God' blog that announced the arrest of Adkins this morning by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation  (GBI).

The 56 year old pastor is cooling his heels in the Glynn County Jail after turning himself at 9 AM EDT this morning.   He is accused of one count of aggravated child molestation and another count of
child molestation that allegedly occurred in 2010 in a vehicle, his church, and the victim's home.

The investigation according to a GBI press release and reporting from the Florida Times-Union is ongoing.

And we'll be watching to see how it turns out.

TransGriot Perv Watch- Iowa Megabus Masturbator

The TransGriot Perv Watch is a new series of posts in which I point out the overwhelming majority of perverts terrorizing women in this world are cisgender men who ain't in drag when they commit their crimes.

So when the right wingers peddle the trans predator myth, I want you to have cases you can find to gut punch these lying bastards with.

In our latest episode of the TransGriot Perv Watch, we have 41 year old Telly Shadell Corey of Tennessee who was arrested in a Coralville, IA bus station on April 10 after a complaint was filed enroute.

What was he doing to get himself free accommodations at the Johnson County Iron Bar Motel?  Seems like Mr. Corey decided to find another way to pass the time during his three hour Megabus trip and pleasure himself.

After rubbing his erect penis through his sweatpants, he then pulled them down, exposed himself and proceeded to beat his meat in front of a terrified female passenger.

When he was busted by Johnson County sheriffs, he admitted to committing the crime and remarked that he thought the woman in question was enjoying it "since she didn't say anything about it."

She was probably in shock that someone would be that WTF trifling on a bus.

Corey was charged with the misdemeanor crime of indecent exposure and booked in the Johnson County Jail under a $2500 bond.  He is due in court on April 21 for a preliminary hearing..  

TransGriot PervWatch- The Tennessee GOP Sexual Harasser

As we've noted on these electronic pages and elsewhere on the Net, there has been a GOP legislative attack on the trans community spread across several states in reaction to their pissivity over the Obergefell SCOTUS ruling.

In Tennessee, the attack on transpeople legislation has been co-sponsored by state Rep. Jeremy Durham (R-Franklin), who has pimped the debunked lie that cisgender men would 'pretend' to be transgender in order to gain access to the women's bathroom.

Well, it turns out that the Tennessee GOP would be better off passing laws to protect women from Rep Durham and his like minded harassers..

Rep. Durham, who is one of the co-sponsors of the unjust HB 2414 has been accused of harassing 34 women, and was declared by Attorney General Herbert Slatery III  (R) in a warning he issued after investigating the complaints to be "a continuing risk to unsuspecting women who are employed by or interact with the legislature.".  

"With few exceptions, the women who related incidents felt they could not report Representative Durham's behavior because nothing could be done and they didn't want to lose their jobs or be considered 'untrustworthy' by employers, clients or legislators," said AG Slatery

In response to the warning from the Attorney General,  Tennessee House Speaker Beth Harwell (R-Nashville) had the trans oppressor exiled from his office in the War Memorial Building, moved to the first floor of the Rachel Jackson Building and limited his access to the Legislative Plaza, the second floor of the state capitol building and those buildings for 'official legislative business only'.

Durham has resigned from his positions as the House majority whip and in the Republican legislative caucus, and will be the only legislator with an office in the Rachel Jackson Building.  There have been bipartisan calls for his resignation which he has ignored, so it will be up to his district to decide in November if they want to be continued to be represented by a sexual harasser.

But this is just another example of what we have been saying in Trans World.   Those who have been squawking the loudest in pushing for these unjust laws aimed at the trans community and repeating the lie about phantom trans sexual predators to get them passed have turned out to be as they are investigated the real sexual predators.  

TransGriot Perv Watch- The Case Of The GOP Legislative Ammosexual

In my latest episode of Perv Watch, we go to New Hampshire for the latest case of a predator endangering the safety of our children and they aren't transgender or dressed in femme attire.

According to RawStory and the New Hampshire Union Leader, 30 year old state rep Kyle Tasker (R) was busted for using the Net in an attempt to lure a 14 year old girl into having sex with him.

Rep. Tasker is in his third term, and serves in the New Hampshire Legislature on the House Committee on Children and Family Law that deals with the legal rights and protections for families and children.  He was alleged to have on January 20 sexually harassed an underage girl, and an agent with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force posed as a 14 year girl and set up a meeting via Facebook Messenger with him.  

When they arrived at that location in Nottingham, they found him with a loaded weapon.  Execution of a search warrant at Tasker's Nottingham home led to the discovery of an enormous quantity of controlled substances and several more weapons strategically placed throughout the home.

Tasker was arrested and charged with four felonies and is being held on $250,000 bail.  In addition to his current legal problems, he also dropped a gun on the House floor in 2012 that fortunately didn't discharge.  

Tasker also caught flak in 2014 for mocking sexual assault victims amongst other problematic statements.

New Hampshire Republican Party Chair Jennifer Horn and NH House Speaker Shawn Jasper have called for his immediate resignation.   He was immediately removed by Jasper from his committee assignment.

We'll see what happens in this latest case in the TransGriot Perv Watch files, but once again it drives home the point that transpeople aren't the perverts we've been slandered and falsely accused of being, it's the cisgender males leveling the accusations you must pay attention to..  

TransGriot Perv Watch- Faith Based Freak

In our latest edition of the TransGriot Perv Watch, here's another incident that proves what the trans community is saying in terms of the peeps you have to watch out for aren't members of our community.

52 year old Mark Wayne Howington of Maumee, OH, the music director at Proclaim FM, a Christian radio station based in Holland, OH. decided to take the laying of hands on someone to another disturbing level at a Target store in the area.  

And he wasn't trans or in drag or trans when he did so.

58 year old Debra Piechowski was shopping at a Target with her niece looking for Valentine's and birthday gifts husband when she entered the women's restroom at 5:00 PM EST last Thursday afternoon.




Piechowski was violently pulled into the bathroom by Howington and slapped hard on the left butt cheek by him before he exited the bathroom without a word as she went to find the manager and store security.

The search for him was initially unsuccessful, but Piechowski spotted him in the parking lot attempting to pry open a car door, and she and officers chased and cornered him in another nearby store where he was apprehended.  He refused to give his name and when he was ordered to pull his hand out of hos pocket, revealed the sharp end of a screwdriver.

If he'd been non-white he'd be dead, but back to focusing on this perv watch story.

Howington was arrested and charged with simple assault, obstruction official business and carrying a concealed weapon.  He appeared in court Friday and was released from the Lucas County. OH jail on Saturday on $1000 bond.

Howington has resigned his position at the Dwelling Place church and is on leave from his WPOS-FM job.

TransGriot Perv Watch- Oklahoma Perv Arrested For Stealing Sorority Girls Panties

The trans community is beyond sick and tired of being slimed as predators and perverts by predominately white conservatives and their GOP friends who are launching legislative attacks on trans people in various states based on those lies.

So as a TransGriot public service, I'm going to start writing tracking posts highlighting who the real pervs and predators are who are preying on cis women.  I also want to document and drive home the point they are cis men, not trans women, and the 'menz' when they are busted for their BS ain't wearing wigs, heels or dresses when they commit these crimes.

They also overwhelmingly look like the GOP conservafools proposing these anti-trans laws and spreading anti-trans hate.

Our first perv watch dispatch comes from Oklahoma, where Sally Kern is spreading her special brand of anti-LGBT hate again and the Republican controlled state legislature has filed a record 26 anti-LGBT bills.

But back to this TransGriot Perv Watch post, Oklahoma style.

While this may sound like a fraternity prank, unfortunately it isn't.  41 year old Randall Scott Ashton was arrested for sneaking into an unlocked window at the Alpha Delta Pi sorority house on the University of Central Oklahoma campus in Edmond, OK and stealing the girls panties.

One of the girls awoke at 2 AM to the horrifying discovery of Ashton sitting on the edge of her bed and police were called.   They found porn magazines in his car and one on the balcony of the sorority house.  Fortunately none of the seven girls in the Alpha Delta Pi house at the time were hurt or assaulted.

When Edmond police took his behind to jail, they discovered at some point the perv had put on and was wearing a pair of the pilfered sorority panties.   They also discovered that Ashton fit the description of a man who had dropped his pants at a local grocery store three hours earlier,

Ashton has been charged with one count of first degree burglary for the stolen sorority panties, and another count of indecent exposure.  Bail has been set at $20,000..

And once again, the perp wasn't in drag or a member of our community, transphobic Oklahoma GOP legislators. when he committed his crimes.
