No White Supremacist Express Subway Train For Their DC Hate Rally

The white supremacists are coming to Washington DC's Lafayette Park on August 12 to celebrate the one year anniversary of their 'Unite The Right' Rally in  Charlottesville, VA.

As you are aware of, many of DC's 700,000 residents are Black and not feeling the Klan affiliated hatemongers coming to town.  You can count DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) as one of the many people who aren't feeling this march.

"We have people coming to our city for the sole purpose of spewing hate," Mayor Bowser said. "We denounce hate, we denounce anti-Semitism, and we denounce the rhetoric we expect to hear this Sunday."

One of the things that was suggested for security purposes was to give the Klan affiliated hatemongers a special WMATA subway train comprised of three rail cars to transport them from their assembly point near the Vienna, VA station to the Foggy Bottom-GWU station.  The haters would be subsequently escorted by police from that station to the Lafayette Park rally site.

The proposal was made by WMATA officials as a way to avoid a repeat of the violent confrontations that happened in  Charlottesville.

That plan got derailed (pun intended) quickly when the Amalgamated Transit Workers Union Local 689 declared in a statement their members would refuse to drive those trains.  They correctly felt it would give special treatment to hate groups and a courtesy that hasn't been extended to any other group planning a march or rally in Washington DC.

“Local 689 is proud to provide transit to everyone for the many events we have in D.C. including the March of Life, the Women’s March and Black Lives Matters rallies," ATU Local 689 president Jackie Jeter said in the statement.“We draw the line at giving special accommodation to hate groups and hate speech,” Jeter said. “We find it hypocritical... to make these unprecedented special accommodations for a hate group.”The union said that people of color make up “more than 80 percent of Local 689’s membership...  the very people that the Ku Klux Klan and other white nationalist groups have killed, harassed and violated. The union has declared that it will not play a role in their special accommodation.”

WMATA has dropped the idea, and is now coordinating via talks with the Virginia State Police, the MPD and Metro Transit Police what they will do to keep everyone safe on hate rally day and keep it peaceful.

Good luck with that.   But one thing to note is there will not be a white supremacist express subway train for their DC hate rally. 

Wonder if Dolt 45 will make an appearance at Lafayette Park so he and Stephen Miller can hang out with all the 'good people' that will be at that hate rally?   

Why Is A Hate Group Meddling In An Illinois School Board Race?

Normally school board races can be low key and non controversial in nature unless something happens during the campaign or a controversial candidate is involved.

There's a school board election happening on April 4 in District 211 in Palatine, IL near Chicago that is fitting that description..  District 211 has been at the epicenter for a trans human rights case involving a trans feminine student at Township High School that was allowed access to the locker room after the district was found in violation of Title IX

The District, the Department of Education and the Department of Justice entered into a settlement agreement, then were sued by a group of transphobic parents and students backed by the right wing anti-trans group Alliance Defending Freedom, an SPLC-certified hate group..

Fast forward to the looming election.   Incumbent District 211 board members Anna Klimkowicz and Robert LeFevre voted for the settlement that was worked out with the DOE and DOJ.   D211 board candidate Edward Yung is a former member seeking to rejoin it that has expressed his support for transgender students.  

They are being challenged by a trans hate slate of candidates calling themselves the 'Parents For Privacy' that are backed by the Alliance Defending Freedom, and they are dumping lots of cash and lies in this race in order to get majority control of the D211 board and rescind the settlement.

Klimkowicz , LeFevre and Yung have been endorsed by the Daily Herald, one of the area newspapers , Equality Illinois PAC , and a group of parents called Progress for D15 and D211'.

Trans United Fund, sensing the importance of this upcoming election, has not only endorsed the pro-trans incumbents, but has already spent over 80 hours organizing with the moms, who have limited resources compared to the professional hate group .

Those parents are concerned about the ADF meddling in their school board race, but don't quite have the funds they need to combat the money flowing in the Parents for Privacy camp.

The rights of trans students are on the ballot in this April 4 school board race, and if you live in the area and support trans human rights, hope you're registered to vote, will participate in this election and prove that you support trans students by voting for Klimkowicz, LeFevre and Yung to sit on that D211 board.  

So SPLC, When Are You Going To Declare The TERF's A Hate Group?

And how many more Black and Latina trans women have to die before you do so? 

How many more transpeople have to suffer from anti-trans discrimination before you step up to the plate and do what you should have done years ago?

How much more hate speech do they have to publish online at RadFem Hub and Gender Trender before you call them on it? 

You have four decades worth of evidence that point out the TERF's are a hate group. Even Stevie Wonder can see they are a hate group.  The trans community who is deleteriously affected by their rabid hate damned sure knows it.  So why haven't you as the FBI's go to watchdog group for keeping an eye on the extremist ones in this country not done your due diligence on trans exterminationalist exclusionary radical feminism?

Your continued inaction and silence on this issue only lends credence to the belief in Trans World that you have a TERF (or TERF's) embedded in your organization that is keeping such a declaration from happening or you simply don't care.

Which statement is true?   Inquiring trans minds and our allies wanna know.

Because SPLC, so far all we're getting from you right now on the subject is this.

And that's unacceptable.

Cristan's Conversation With SPLC About The TERF's

I've been saying for years that the Trans Exterminationalist Radical Feminists (TERF's) qualify as a hate group and needed to labeled as such by the Southern Poverty Law Center. 

I've wondered aloud along with many people in the trans community why the Southern Poverty Law Center, the major watchdog group shining a spotlight on hate groups in the United States, declared the Men's Rights Movement last year as a hate group, but so far have yet to declare TERF's with their four decades old paper and electronic trail of reprehensible oppressive and transphobic actions as one.

The SPLC is listed as a resource in the FBI web page on hate crimes, so what's up with why an organization that is considered an authoritative one by the FBI on hate groups has not only yet to declare the TERF's as one, but interviewed the Queen Bug of TERFism in their intelligence report slamming the Men's Rights Movement?   

And just in case you have any doubts about what the FBI considers anti-trans hate, from page 17 of the FBI’s Hate Crime Data Collection Guidelines and Training Manual.

When crimes are committed against people based on sexual orientation or gender identity, epithets often reveal the motive for the attack. Typical gender identity-related epithets and terms include: “he-she,” “she-male,” “tranny,” “it,” and “transvestite.” Also, the terms “cross dresser” and “drag queen” may be used in a hateful way, even though some individuals may self-identify with these terms. It is common for perpetrators of anti-transgender hate crimes to attack the victim after learning the victim is transgender. -

More Like Satan's Flag

It's the flag of traitors who wanted to overthrow the United States so they could continue to enslave my ancestors. It's the flag of pointed hood wearing terrorists who couldn't accept the fact they lost the 'War To Perpetuate Slavery' they started.

It's the flag of violent terroristic resistance to my people's attempts to pull themselves up by their bootstraps in the wake of emancipation and Reconstruction.

It's the flag of people who opposed the Civil Rights movement and of nullification.

It's the flag of white folks who hate and resent the fact that we have an African-American president who won a landslide election and his family living in the White House my people built with their unpaid labor.

Heritage not hate, my azz. It's a flag that represents a heritage of hate.

It's also the flag of those who wallow in a toxic stew of prejudice, ignorance, anger and fear that their version of America is going the way of the dinosaur.

God's flag? Please. The Civil War is over and you Southern-fried conservafools thankfully lost. Get over it.

Phred Phelps Does Dallas -Resource Center Dallas Profits

Phred Phelps brings his reprehensible Phamily of Phools to Dallas starting July 9 for a series of protests. The primary targets are The Resource Center Dallas, and Beth El Binah, a mainstream Reform Jewish congregation with a longtime LGBT outreach that meets at the Center.

They also are planning protests at several other North Texas sites such as the Dallas Holocaust Museum in the West End, the Texas Jewish Post and Cathedral Guadalupe.

As is the case with many GLBT communities or organizations faced with dealing with his Westboro Baptist 'Church' christofools, local organizations use his visits as an opportunity to fundraise for causes within the community.

The standard operating procedure is to have people offer to donate a certain dollar amount for every minute Fred's Fools protest in their city, with that money going to help GLBT community causes.

It has the dual effect of not only turning the Phelps Phamily sojourns into money raising opportunities for the targeted community, once the Phelpses find out, they cut their protests short.

Resource Center Dallas has started a 'Hell Freezes Over' campaign in advance of the Westboro Wackos visit. As of 11 AM CDT they have already raised just over $1000 for their counterprotest, and Phred hasn't even arrived in the Dallas area yet.

Resource Center Dallas in addition to serving as the host location for a GLBT friendly Reform Jewish congregation, has provided a hot meals program for more than 100 HIV-positive clients. They have served those nutritious lunches on Monday through Friday since the early 1990’s.

The Center recently had their ice machine break down. They are temporarily receiving ice from their partners Caven Enterprises and Cathedral of Hope, but need $3000 to purchase a new energy-efficient unit to replace the old one.

The money raised in this campaign will go towards replacing the ice machine first, and any funds raised above and beyond that will go to the Center's general operating fund.

So here's hoping Phred's Phools spend lots of time in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and raise lots of cash for Resource Center Dallas in the process.

The SPLC Wins Another Legal Battle Against Hate Groups

If you're looking for an organization to donate money to, send a check the Southern Poverty Law Center's way.

They not only have been documenting hate groups in this country, under the leadership of SPLC founding attorney Morris Dees they have taken an active role toward breaking them financially.

The SPLC strategy has been so successful that trial testimony in the Gruver case revealed a 1999 Klan plot to kill Morris Dees was broken up by the FBI.

There are millions of reasons why hate groups want to see the Alabama-born Dees expeditiously depart this Earth.

After the 1981 Mobile, AL lynching death of Michael Donald, in 1987 the SPLC on behalf of his mother Beulah Mae Donald filed a civil lawsuit against the United Klans of America. It resulted in a $7 million verdict that put the notorious United Klans of America out of business. The UKA was the group responsible for the 1961 beatdown of the Freedom Riders in the Birmingham bus station, the 1963 bombing of Birmingham's 16th Street Baptist Church and the killing of Viola Liuzzo.

In the wake of the 1988 killing of Ethiopian college student Mulugeta Seraw in Portland, OR by three racist skinheads affiliated with the White Aryan Resistance, the SPLC sued on behalf of his father and won a $12.5 million verdict that forced WAR leader Tom Metzger to sell his California home to satisfy the judgment and put WAR out of the hatemongering business.

In 2000 the SPLC won a $6.3 million jury verdict in the Keenan v. Aryan Nations case that forced Aryan Nations leader Richard Butler to give up the group's 20 acre Idaho compound.

The latest Southern Poverty Law Center legal victory against an odious Klan group has been raging not too far from me in Brandenburg, KY.

After three days of testimony, yesterday a jury awarded $2.5 million in damages to 19 year old Jordan Gruver. In July 2006 the then 16 year old teen who is of Panamanian and Native American descent was severely beaten by members of the Imperial Klans of America who were recruiting new members at the Meade County Fair.

They taunted him with inaccurate ethnic slurs, spat on him and doused him with alcohol. Two men identified as Edwards and Hensley knocked Gruver to the ground and repeatedly struck and kicked him in an attack that left the teen with a broken jaw, a broken left forearm, two cracked ribs and multiple cuts and bruises.

According to the SPLC, The IKA members mistakenly thought he was an illegal Latino immigrant and not an American citizen.

The all-white jury found that the Imperial Klans of America and its founder wrongfully targeted Gruver, who is an American citizen of Panamanian and Native-American descent.

Gruver filed the personal injury lawsuit last year seeking up to $6 million in damages from the Imperial Klans of America and two of its leaders, Imperial Wizard Ron Edwards and Grand Titan Jarred R. Hensley. The jury of seven men and seven women deliberated for five hours before rendering their verdict.

"The people of Meade County, Kentucky, have spoken loudly and clearly. And what they've said is that ethnic violence has no place in our society, that those who promote hate and violence will be held accountable and made to pay a steep price," Dees said.

The Southern Poverty Law Center says the Imperial Klans of America is the second largest KKK group after the Brotherhood of Klans Knights, based in Marion, Ohio. SPLC spokesman Booth Gunter said there are 34 named Klan organizations across the country with 155 separate chapters.

The Anti-Defamation League, who also tracks hate group activity, estimates there are more than 40 different Klan groups, with as many as 5,000 members in more than 100 chapters, or 'klaverns' across the country.

So congratulations to the SPLC for taking out another hate group and sending them the message that if you engage in inciting hate violence to the point where someone is harmed or killed, you will pay for it not just with jail time, but financially as well.
