Y'all know how much I love Jazz Jennings, and finally got to meet her and her family at last year's Philly Trans Health Conference.
There are two major pieces of news for those of us who love keeping up with our fave trans teen.
The first is TLC has tapped her to do a reality TV show. Broadcast date to be determined, but this is wonderful to hear.
As y'all know I'm not a big fan of reality TV shows, but for this one I'll make an exception.
The second piece of news is that she has been tapped to be the new face for the Clean and Clear skincare lines 'Be The Real You campaign.
This is historic and groundbreaking in the fact that a trans feminine teen has had this happen.
But it's par for the course for the now ninth grader who has been named by TIME magazine as one of the world's most influential teens along with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai.
It's also timely in the wake of four trans teen suicides this year.
Congrats Jazz! Best of luck in both those new ventures, and hoping they will be megasuccessful.
