It was a Sunday full of upsets that nearly sent me to another below .500 record but I ran the table in the afternoon and Sunday and Monday night games to salvage a 8-6 record out of it.
One of those games I didn't get right was the Texans beating the Cleveland Browns. It featured JJ Watt scoring his second offensive touchdown of the season on a marvelous catch.
Watt is the first defensive lineman since 1948 to score at least 4 touchdowns in a season, and there may be more of them in store for the hardest working d-lineman in the NFL before this season is over.
Yeah, he's earning every penny of that new extended contract that makes him the highest paid defensive end (for now) in the league.
NFL Week 12 is upon us, and this is the last week of the season in which teams get a bye week. This time it's the Steelers and Panthers that get to have a seat and watch everyone else play.
That means only 15 games to pick this week.and I have to make up ground on Mike fast instead of just mirror his weekly record.. My picks for this week as usual in underlined bold print.
