Thinking About Ali

Ran across an interesting video about a transteen named Ali, who graduated from Stuttgart High School in Arkansas last year and is college bound with dreams of becoming a psychologist so she can give back and help other people in the trans community.

“I don’t understand why they feel the need to make someone’s life a living hell just when they don’t like it, why they feel the need to get involved in everyone’s business when it doesn’t pertain to them. I’m just another person in school,” said Ali in the video

She credits Ellen Degeneres as a role model helping her to become the strong woman and girl like us she is.

I hope she's doing well in college and is making that dream of becoming a psychologist and helping the trans community come true.  We can always use more people who intimately know our issues in the medical and clinical psychology ranks.

Best of luck Ali.
