Denver journalist Eden Lane is a trailblazer. She's the first trans on-air broadcast journalist with a major
network and covered the 2008 Democratic National Convention that was held in the Mile High City for PBS.
The other cool thing is she's also a #girllikeus.
Lane since 2009 has been the host of the KBDI-TV shows In Focus with Eden Lane, Colorado’s popular local arts
and culture news magazine, and OUTSpoken, a prime time special series
devoted to the LGBT community that has been on the air for 20 years.
She was recently interviewed by the Denver Post about her fascinating life that includes her being a wife and mother to a teenager in addition to her journalism career, and here's the link to that interview.
