Shut Up Fool Awards-Rick's Hate Rally Edition

In 24 hours we'll have Gov. Rick Perry's hate rally masquerading as a prayer meeting desecrating Reliant Stadium.   The good thing about it is we'll also find out just how many haters we have in the Houston area since it holds 71,000 people and they will have to show themselves.   

As of now only 8000 people have registered for the event on its website and we have the Phelps Phamily allegedly enroute to Houston to picket the event for a reason only encapsulated in their minds.

It's Friday, and time for our weekly exercise in finding this week's fool or group of fools that we need to shine a bright spotlight on, the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

This week I had a long list of worthy candidates in terms of Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Rep Eric Cantor (R-VA), Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Rep Joe Walsh (R-IL), Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson, a group award for Fox Noise, Doug Lamborn (R-CO) , Steve King (R-IA), RNC chair Reince Priebus, and on her way to being recalled out of office Wisconsin St. Senator Alberta Darling.(R).   

Honorable mention goes to Cathy Brennan and Elizabeth Hungerford for submitting a paper to the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women seeking to deny transwoman basic human rights.   Brennan is an odious example of the racist vanilla scented radial lesbian separatists who have tirellessly worked to deny civil rights to transpeople. She also stuck her hatin' nose in our Maryland HB 235 business when we successfully killed that unjust bill.


But this week's winner is Rev A.W. Montgomery Sr. of Agape Missionary Baptist Church in Suitland, MD. 

The peeps in DC and the national trans community are righteously pissed off after Montgomery preached the July 27 funeral of Lashai Mclean, misgendered her and according to Sampson McCormick repeatedly said 'this death is the consequence of living this lifestyle'

How many times do I and 'errbody' else have to tell your clueless behind these are our lives, not a 'lifestyle' and y'all need to stop regurgitating that right wing BS in our community.  God made us just like everyone else on this planet. 

Something else you need to stop regurgitating is that anti-trans hate.     
 
Rev. Montgomery, it's sad your church is named for the word that means selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love, the highest of the four types of love in the Bible.  You fell far short in displaying that type of love on July 27 to Lashai Mclean, her friends, family members and the people who loved her and wanted to pay their respects.   You also reinforced a troubling pattern of insensitive TBLG bigotry in the Black church community that needs to be addressed and rooted out.
