Two More Utah Cities Pass TBLG Inclusive Anti Discrimination Laws

Who would have thought that Utah of all places would be on the nation's civil rights radar in a positive way?

The city councils of Murray and Moab in both cities unanimously passed last night city ordinances that ban housing and employment discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity

They now join five other Utah cites, Salt Lake City, Park City, Logan, West Valley City and Taylorsville and two Utah counties Salt Lake and Summit that ban housing and employment discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Equality Utah is only one jurisdiction short of its goal of having 10 Utah counties and cities with inclusive anti-discrimination ordinances by the end of 2010.
