2009 State Of The Black Union-LA

Been watching the 10th Anniversary edition of the State of the Black Union live from Los Angeles. I enjoy watching Black thought leaders engaged in thoughtful conversations across an entire day on various subjects and the conversation being televised on C-SPAN.

Well, Round Two is about to start, and this panel will have two of my fave peeps, Dr. Cornel West and Dr. Julianne Malveaux on it.

Sharpton was the most articulate, patient, concise person on panel when Travis asked him if he was out of work because Obama won election Mr.Sharpton calmly and professionally responded and was rewarded with standing ovations like none other.Sharpton was elegant and accurate with his message and broke it down so a 3rd grader could understand. Mr.Steele will have his hands fill trying to convince African Americans to support Conservative Republicans who don't have grass roots Americas best interest at heart.Sharpton is the man who should have gone farther in the political arena.
