Another day, another interesting transgender video discovered on YouTube. This one had a brief snippet from my girl Laverne Cox, who's hanging in there on I Want To Work For Diddy.
It's a trailer for a documentary called 'On Being T'. Looks interesting and here's the website with more information about it.

It could be an interesting series however i must admit that the trailer doesn't make me want to watch it. I hope the series depicts a wider spectrum of what it looks like to be trans than what i saw in the trailer. However the way the trailer has been constructed sends the strong message that my demographic is not the target audience anyway.
ReplyDeleteThis Video Makes transgender people look like trash! Street walkers and porn stars?? Thats gross not only in my eyes but the rest of the world to! I know theres more to being transgender than sexworkers! When are people going to show transgenders doing good for society? Make people love them not hate them! looks like a jerry springer documentary. I guess the transgender people who are living productive lives don't have time to be show cased and are just living amongst us! Maybe one day people will show that side. But these people are just trash, I give Two tumbs down for beingT!!
