Will We Be Erased From The Upcoming WH Trans Meeting?

Autumn Sandeen of Pam's House Blend is reporting that a secret WH Trans meeting is supposed to be taking place on April 29.

I've heard it from multiple sources this week that there is a scheduled meeting between leaders in transgender community and the Obama Administration. I've heard it from multiple sources this week that this scheduled meeting is scheduled to be a "listening" meeting (where the White House listens to a constituent group), and not designed as an "action" meeting.    That meeting is currently scheduled to occur a week from this Friday -- on April 29, 2011. It isn't just an inference to say that the White House wants this meeting to be to be secret and off the record -- there currently are no plans for a photo op or for reporting from the meeting.
What my inquiring mind wants to know is how much like a GOP party convention will this room look like?

The trans leaders they will see damned sure won't have any melanin in their skin, and we're the ones that the Obama Administration most needs to hear from.   We're the ones who are being killed and are facing the discrimination, but yet can't seem to get those WH invitations or get jobs in the trans orgs formulating the policy.

So will the African-American trans community be erased from this secret meeting should it happen?

Given the LG community's track record so far, yep.

On Transsexual Separation

TransGriot: note:  I'm sick of hearing the BS SRS=transsexual argument myself, and far too many predominately white transsexuals are the ones pimping it.   And now, here's guest poster Zoe Kincade.

I am honestly disheartened to find so many transsexuals buying into this thinking.

While it definitely seems to be the case that I see eye to eye on transgender ideology being harmful to transsexuals with some, other transsexuals do not appear to be willing to give up their personal pride and prejudice to establish the kind of transsexual community that is necessary to make up any kind of adequate contrast to the transgender juggernaut.

The 'surgical correction = transsexual" argument makes no sense. Transsexuality is a birth condition of identifying with and permanently adopting the identity of the opposite sex, and the effects of said condition are not always absolute. Dr. Harry Benjamin believed that non-operative transsexuals existed and that the separation between the classifications of transsexual was not definitive, psychological studies have backed up his assessments in the case of non-op transsexuals, and I know non-op transsexuals who still identify as transsexual personally. If they operate as the sex their condition points them toward, it is none of our business what they are packing in their pants.

As I explained to a transsexual separatist named Lisa this evening (and she continually attempted to browbeat me into submission regarding), the genital based disagreement is sourced from a predominantly white, Western, and transsexual woman point of view.

It ignores other cultures (where transsexuals can be more accepted, and thus feel less of an impetus to have genital surgery), it ignores history (many historical personalities and cultural groups assumed the identity of another sex, which was not necessarily inclusive of changes to the genitals), it ignores the experiences and status of female-to-male transsexuals (where genital surgery is not really much of a viable option), and it hypocritically places transsexuals in the position of 'genital police'; it is safe to say that none of us would want to convey our genital status to perfect strangers, so why are anybody else's genitals any of our business?

I have many more sensible reasons than that, and plan to detail all of them in my upcoming manifesto against such thinking. It is harmful to development of transsexuality as a cross-cultural identity with a rich history and easily as poisonous as any transgender ideology to transsexuals in reality, unfortunately. It keeps people with the transsexual birth condition separated (thus, marginalized) and holds surgical correction up as the 'gold standard of transsexuality'; i.e. makes for an elitist rift that excludes perfectly decent transsexual human beings.

That, in turn, is what sabotages transsexuals as having their own booming community in lieu of creating splinter groups of those who could afford it or otherwise had a life experience where they had to change their bodies through surgical means. To top all of that off, surgical correction is not necessary to separate transsexuality (an inherently sex-based condition) from the gender-based ideology of the transgender political machine. Given that, the only purpose it serves is to be divisive to us all at a time when we should be unifying behind a common identity.

I cannot in good conscience agree with such a position given the wealth of evidence, common sense, and logic that stands opposed to it, and I hope others will understand my disagreement.

TransGriot Nuke A Troll 11-Pimp Slapping An Islamophobe

The USS Monica is leaving home port and cruising the cyberseas once again. .

I've had a comment come in about my latest Saturday Sellout post featuring Herman Cain.

This person calling themselves Sootsme (love the way these conservafools won't proudly put their name to their BS)  had this to sayabout my portion of the Cain post noting his Islamophobia.

Um, sorry, Cain's position on Muslims in his administration is not a racial or religious issue, but a LEGAL one: Islam specifies treatment of women, gays, and others in ways that are ILLEGAL under our US Constitution and US Law; something that the left either misses or conveniently ignores. (at their peril, methinks) Muslims are permitted to lie to Infidels (that's me and maybe you, too) So much for the Oath to support the US Constitution that all US gov't employees are required to swear when they sign on. This crap has no business anywhere near our US government or our US courts. Period. Case closed.

Now that i've finished laughing (cracks knuckles)  let's go to work pimp slapping this into oblivion.

5...4...3...2...1...

Bullshit.  It has everything to do with race.   He's trying to play the more 'conservative than thou' card for starters so you bigoted Islamophobic white folks will vote for his azz assuming he runs for the GOP 2012 nomination.   .

I find it an interesting and laughable contradiction that you conservafools would attack Islam for its widely varying views on women, TBLG civil rights and claim it is against the Constitution when you conservafools have acted to oppress women and TBLG people in anti constitutional ways since the 70's.

And here we go with you the spinning the concept of taqiyya..    It is an Arabic word that means concealing one’s faith out of fear of death, to mean religiously justified lying.  Not all Muslims subscribe to the theological concept of taqiyya, and contrary to the BS you conservafools pimp, in fact, it is a minority opinion.

Besides, nobody lies more or obsfuscates the truth moreso than you right wingers and right wing Christians, so don't even go there.  The last election cycle proved it once again.

I know at least one Muslim who publically took the oath to protect and defend the United States constitution and did it twice.   Google Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN)   He's the only Muslim member of Congress and took that oath while placing his hand on the Quran.   There are also millions of taxpaying Muslims who have no problem taking oaths to protect and defend the constitution as American citizens.

Speaking of oaths, what the hell are you talking about in terms of your assertion that all government employees have to take an oath to defend the US Constitution?    Federal office holders and people entering military service take that oath, not government employees.

Some of you right wing clowns since President Obama took the oath of office want to secede or only recognize portions of the Constitution.

Thanks  for playing, and I have lovely parting gifts for you of a Quran and the US constitution.  Read them both before you come stepping to this blog with that Islamophobic BS ever again.

Oh yeah, duck and cover!
