Natalie Johnson, Your Religious Beliefs Don't Trump My Human Rights

You know I'm following the case happening two hours west of me on I-10 in San Antonio in which a transphobic now former Macy's employee denied access to a fitting room in their Rivercenter store to a transwoman.   As of yet the transwoman in question hasn't been interviewed to get her side of the story.

Here's what Natalie Johnson had to say for herself when she was interviewed on KENS-TV.

Natalie, the only 'mentally confused' person here is you.   Don't know if you're familiar with the Texas and United States Constitutions and it's obvious from looking at your interview you aren't, but bottom line is your religious beliefs don't trump mine or anyone's human rights.

What pissed me off even more about this faith-based transphobia you aimed at one of my transsisters is that you share my ethnic heritage. 

You may not believe trans people exists, but an ever increasing body of scientific and medical evidence plus  decades of our documented lived experiences provide undeniable evidence that I and other transpeople around the world are walking this planet. 

The default setting for human life when a zygote starts developing into a fetus is female.  A little more testosterone in the womb and you would have come out of the birth canal 27 years ago.being named Nathaniel  If that testosterone burst was mistimed during the hormone wash you would know firsthand what it's like to be a transperson and face the discrimination and ignorance that you gleefully dished out in Macy's that day.

But back to excoriating your ludicrous assertion that your alleged Christian beliefs trump a transperson's civil and human rights and corporate policies that you treat everyone with respect and dignity.   

No, they don't and neither does your faith-based bigotry and transphobia.. 

"I made sure to keep a close eye out on him because he was shopping for women's clothing."

So?  And who died and deputized you sir as a stormtrooper for the Femininity Police?  Being misgendered doesn't feel good does it, Nathaniel?

Since you claim to be a Christian, how about you perusing Matthew 19:12  and Matthew 7:1?

Matthew 19:12  For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.' 

 
And what does Matthew 7:1 say?    Judge not, lest ye be not judged..

Why I Can't Stand Rad Fems-They're Still Hatin'

Once again the Rad Fems are doing their vanillacentric best in terms of pissing people off  by spewing their disco era bull feces and transphobic hate while trying to claim 'they aren't transphobic' or 'that word doesn't exist'.

Yeah, spoken like the true pearl clutching white privilege addled oppressors and hatemongers you are.

Boom, Boom! Dan Savage Gets Glitterbombed Again

Seems like I just wrote about rainbow transphobe Dan Savage getting glitterbombed at a November 1 University of Oregon event.   Now I've been informed it happened again at a November 9 UC-Irvine event.

You TransGriot readers get to peruse the comments of Tobi Hill-Meyer and Kat Rose on this while I get my thoughts together about this latest incident in which one of the students involved in this latest glitterbombing was captured by the police and arrested.

Note to Savage fans.  If your boy is getting glitterbombed at it seems like almost every stop on his MTV tour, shouldn't that tell you he has a problem with transphobia?

Paul Recalled!

As y'all know, I can't stand that transphobic, teacher hating, cookie chomping conservanegro Michigan state Rep.Paul Scott who represents the 51st House district.   Neither can other transpeeps inside and outside the state of Michigan. 

I was happy to hear a recall effort was being put together to oust him by ticked off teachers, constituents and union members mad as hell and not taking it any more.

Oops, check that.  He USED to represent the 51st District.   Paul was recalled, y'all!

In another Election Night 2011 development that had the TransGriot doing a happy dance when she saw the news, Rep Paul Scott (R-Grand Blanc) who was the chair of the House Education Committee that greased the skids for Gov. Rick Snyder's (R) teacher hate legislation to pass, became the first legislator since 1983 to be recalled.

Oh, don't think Scott didn't try to do everything possible to delay or stop what happened last night and failed.   It was only by a 232 vote margin, but that's good enough to have him scrounging up boxes to pack up his office in Lansing and send him on his way out the door of the Michigan Legislature. 

And don't let it hit you where the Good Lord split ya.

Mission Accomplished Recall Paul Scott team!  Y'all said you would defeat him on July 18 and y'all made it happen.  Congratulations for your hard work and sending a political message to the 1% percenters and their legislative enablers. 

Couldn't happen to a nicer cookie chomping knee-grow transphobe.
