The Divine Cassadine Transition Scholarship Fundraiser

There are a few posts on TransGriot in which I discuss silicone pumping, the negative effects of it and chronicle the pumpers who get busted and brought to justice or killing people while doing so.

Tanisha Caston AKA 'The Divine Tanisha Cassadine', was born in Memphis  September 16, 1968 and touched many lives inside and outside the House of Cassadine and the pageant and ballroom community    She died on March 16 at age 48 due to complications from silicone injections.

It was a death that shocked many in the pageant world who knew her, and brought home to people the danger of silicone pumping

Miss BTIPS 2016 Taliyah Cassadine is also the founder of Say No 2 Silicone Injections to promote awareness of the danger of silicone pumping.

She created the Divine Cassadine Transition Scholarship to not only keep memories of the legacy of Tanisha alive, but also help create a funding stream to help trans women who want to transition in a healthy and safe way without using silicone.   It can also be used to remove silicone from a person's body, which can also be a costly process.

The Divine Cassadine Transition Scholarship will be awarded at future BTAC conventions.  Fundraising for the $3000 goal started April 1 with the hope that the goal will be reached and hopefully exceeded by next April 1.

If you're inclined to give $5, 10, 20 or whatever your heart moves you to do at this time, please do so. No amount is too small to give in order to reach and hopefully exceed the goal to seed this fund.

Even $1 will help the cause, and here's the link to the fundraising page.

Florida Silicone Pumper Sentenced In Nuby Case

Image result for Oneal Morris
When we last checked in on 36 year old silicone pumper Oneal Morris, she was about to do a year in jail as part of an accepted plea deal for practicing medicine without a license.

But she was still facing manslaughter charges for the pumping death of 31 year old Shatarka Nuby, when the silicone that was pumped into her posterior leaked to other parts of her body and caused fatal respiratory failure

On Monday she was sentenced by a Florida judge to ten years in prison and another five years of probation as Nuby's family and people she'd pumped watched the courtroom proceedings.

The only thing I do have a problem with is you being sentenced to serve your time in a men's jail. You need to be incarcerated in a women's facility, not subject to being assaulted and abused by male prisoners and guards

Back to the case.

Medical experts could never determine what exactly was in the pumping concoction, but what they do know is that Morris injected Nuby ten times between 2007 to 2011, with the initial procedure costing her $2000 and eventually her life.

Morris of course denied that she intentionally hurt anyone and that she was being 'convicted by the media'.

Naw boo boo kitty, don't even try it.  Your pumping actions resulted in injury to several people and the death of one, so enjoy your time in jail. .

Silicone Pumper Padge Windslowe Sentenced

In the latest update on the Padge Windslowe pumping case, she was found back in March guilty of third degree murder for the February 2011 death of Claudia Aderotimi

The 20 year old Aderotimi flew across The Pond from London to get he derriere enhanced by the self proclaimed "Michelangelo of Butt Injections' but the pumping procedure went horribly wrong.

The silicone from the pumping injection traveled through Aderotimi's system and caused her death according to the medical examiner of a pulmonary embolism several hours later.

Windslowe has expressed remorse for Aderotimi's death and was facing 20 to 40 years in prison for the conviction.

She was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison for it and the 42 year old Windslowe will be eligible for parole in 7 years.

Dallas Silicone Injection Death Ruled Homicide

Wykesha Reid was found dead inside a Dallas beauty salon in the 3800 Block of East Side Ave.on February 19 after visiting it for an appointment the previous day have her butt enhanced.

On Tuesday, the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office announced the 34 year old Reid died of pulmonary silicone embolization associated with cosmetic silicone injections.

Denise Ross (L) and Jimmy Clarke (R) mugshot (source: Dallas Police)43 year old Denise 'Wee Wee' Ross and 32 year old trans woman Alicia Clarke were initially charged with practicing medicine without a license in an unrelated case of a 27 year old woman who paid $200 to have injections done by Clarke and Ross on February 9 at that East Side Avenue shop.
.
The woman told Dallas police she was escorted to a back room by Clarke, told her to remove her pants and get on a massage table.   She attempted to ask questions about the procedure, including what was in the injections, but "was not given a good explanation," the documents say.

The client said Clarke and Ross sanitized her buttocks and began the injections.

The woman said she was injected with a total of seven syringes that were left in for the duration of the procedure, and that she "felt intense pain and was told to be quiet after screaming in agony." The injection holes were closed with Super Glue and cotton balls.

This woman later identified Clarke and Ross in a photo lineup.

Clarke and Ross are now facing murder charges in Reid's unfortunate death.  As this case develops, will keep you TRansGriot readers apprised of what's happening in it.

Silicone Pumper Padge Windslowe Guilty

Padge Victoria Windslowe, the self proclaimed  'Michelangelo of butt injections', was found guilty by a jury Monday of third degree murder for causing the 2011 death of London resident Claudia Aderotimi after two days of deliberation.

The 45 year old so-called “Black Madam” bragged openly during the trial about her supposed talents for black-market “body sculpting,” claiming curvy model Amber Rose was a “walking billboard” for her artistry.

“I was the best, and I don’t mean that to be cocky,” Windslowe said.

Well, her pumping days are over, and she's now facing  20 to 40 years in prison when she is sentenced in June.

Padge Victoria Windslowe has taken the stand in her own defense in her pumping trial in Philadelphia started February 19.

Windslowe is facing up to 40 years in prison if she is convicted.

Windslowe Pumping Case Update

Been a while since I had any news concerning the Padge Victoria Windslowe pumping case in Philly.

Windslowe was arrested in 2012 and charged in July 2012 with third degree murder in the February 7, 2011 death of 20 year old Claudia Aderotimi.

The British citizen flew from London to Philadelphia to get a buttocks injection at a pumping party in a nearby airport hotel and subsequently died hours later from a pulmonary embolism caused by the injection administered by Windslowe.

Windslowe is also facing aggravated assault charges for a February 2012 silicone butt injection that gravely injured a 23 year old Philadelphia woman.

Windslowe's bail was initially set at an excessively high $10 million but was subsequently reduced to $750,000.  She has been confined to her parents' Philadelphia home and wears an electronic-monitoring device.  She has been in that situation for 2.5 years because she can't pay the bond, and awaits her trial date scheduled to start February 17, 2015.

After a long silence, the 42 year old Windslowe was back in the news in June after she wrote letters to the Philadelphia Daily News that were subsequently published.

Common Pleas Court Judge Rose Marie DeFino-Nastasi warned her in a hearing, it could have resulted in her being found in contempt of court because they violated the gag order placed on the case.

Another hearing held August 14 barred defense attorney David Rudenstein from calling for testimony from Windslowe's satisfied pumping customers.  The defense attorney wanted to call those witnesses in order to prove that she did not act with malice in the Aderotimi case, which Assistant District attorney Bridget Kim opposed.

Malice is a key element in this third degree murder case.  A conviction carries a 20-40 year state prison sentence. If Rudenstein is able to convince the jury that Windslowe did not act with malice, the most serious charge she could be convicted of is involuntary manslaughter, which carries a maximum sentence of 2.5 to five years.

Stay tuned for the latest info in this pumping case as I receive it.

Mississippi Silicone Pumper Tracey Lynn Garner Gets Life

Been keeping an eye on the Tracey Lynn Garner silicone pumping case in Mississippi that resulted in the death of 37 year old Karima Gordon of the ATL.

When I last checked in Natasha Stewart was getting a total of 15 years in jail back in February for accepting $200 from Gordon for a referral for the pumping procedure and falsely claiming Garner was a nurse.

After two trial date resets, the 54 year old Garner finally faced the judicial music. After a trial last week in Hinds County Circuit Court, was convicted August 29 of depraved heart murder for the death of Gordon and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

She was sentenced Tuesday by Judge Winston Kidd to five years for the wire fraud charge and life imprisonment for the murder of Gordon.   Garner is still facing charges for the 2010 death by pumping of Marilyn Hale of Selma, AL.

The trial date in the Hale case has not been set as of this writing, and will keep you TransGriot readers posted on what transpires in that case.

Tracey Lynn Garner Pumping Case Update

Pebbelz Da ModelWhen I last checked in on the case of Mississippi silicone pumper Tracey Lynn Garner, she was now facing two charges of depraved heart murder for the March 2012 deaths of 37 year old Karima Gordon of Atlanta and the January 2010 death of 23 year old Marilyn Hale of Selma, AL due to silicone butt injections that went horribly wrong..

40 year old Natasha Stewart, an adult entertainer known as 'Pebblez Da Model' went on trial in Jackson, MS January 27 for her part in the death of Karima Gordon.

She had accepted $200 to refer Gordon to Garner for the silicone pumping procedure and falsely claimed Garner was a nurse.   Stewart herself had been injected 20 times in the last seven years to create the signature pumped 48 inch derriere she possesses courtesy of Garner.

Stewart had been charged with "depraved-heart" murder, which is defined as one committed with a callous disregard for human life.   Depraved heart murder carries a sentence of life imprisonment, but the jury convicted her on January 31 of the lesser charge of culpable negligent manslaughter.

Stewart was facing 20 years, but was sentenced on February 14 by Judge Bill Gowan to 15 years with 8 years suspended on the manslaughter charge and 5 years on the charge of conspiracy with both sentences to run concurrently.    Translation:  She'll be locked up for 7 years and has 8 years suspended.

As for Garner, her trial was supposed to start after two resets on March 17, but it looks like it has been reset again since I have yet to find any news stories concerning a trial or conviction.

If I discover any new information concerning the Garner case, I'll pass that information along.

Oneal Morris Goes To Jail

Oneal Morris, who was convicted in Miami-Dade County for practicing medicine without a license in pursuit of her lucrative silicone pumping efforts, turned herself in on January 7 to begin serving the 336 day jail term she was sentenced to back in October via a plea deal.

The initial plea deal was denied because Judge Ellen Sue Venzera thought it was too light considering what Morris was being charged with

She'll be incarcerated with the cisgender boys because Miami-Dade Corrections doesn't place you in their facilities based on your gender presentation.  With time off for good behavior Morris is scheduled to be released in October.

Thumbnail image for ShatarkaNuby.jpgBut the 32 year old Morris is not out of the legal woods yet.   She is facing more serious manslaughter charges in Broward County because of the March 2012 death of Shatarka Nuby, one of her longtime cisfeminine clients from what coroners labeled as "massive systemic silicone migration.".

So stay tuned to this TransGriot channel for further updates on the Morris case and what transpires in the upcoming one in Broward County.

Trans Woman Pumped By Armani Nicole Davenport Dies

Accused silicone pumper Armani Nicole Davenport's case in Louisiana which a trans woman she pumped ended up in a coma with a less than 50/50 chance of survival just took another serious turn.

On New Year's Day 25 year old Brenisha Hall, who has been in a coma since being pumped October 24 by Davenport with a still unknown substance, died after her body shut down.

The Dallas based Davenport surrendered to NOPD and Orleans Parish authorities November 6 and was charged at the time with negligent injuring.

An autopsy was performed by Interim LSU Public Hospital officials on Hall with her death being ruled by doctors as a result of natural causes.  The results of that hospital autopsy were relayed to the Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office via phone conversation since Hall was a Jefferson Parish resident.  The Jefferson Parish coroners office released the body and Hall was buried on January 11.

But an investigation has been launched by NOPD police and prosecutors to ascertain whether sufficient evidence exists to bring a charge of negligent homicide.   It would require a new autopsy by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office and getting permission of the family to exhume Hall's body in order to conduct it.

"In light of the victim's death, we are re-evaluating the case at this time to see if additional charges are warranted under the law," said Christopher Bowman, a spokesman for Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro.

Will keep you posted as more details emerge about this ongoing case.

Armani Nicole Davenport Turns Herself In

Armani Nicole DavenportI wrote earlier this month about Armani Nicole Davenport, our Dallas area pageant sister who was wanted by the New Orleans Police for an October 24 silicone pumping session  that went badly and sent one of the two people pumped with a substance that was less than medical grade silicone to a local hospital.

A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she turned herself in on November 6 to New Orleans PD.  She was booked into the New Orleans Parish Prison and her bail was set at $50,000.

The person who rejected the pumping concoction was still hospitalized at the time Davenport turned herself in to NOPD.   She was in critical condition but improving as of that November 6 date.

Davenport is facing a charge of negligent injuring, of which if she is convicted of it will face six months in jail and a $5,000 fine.

And I will be keeping up with what transpires in this latest silicone pumping case.

Trans Pageant Diva Wanted For Silicone Pumping

Armani Nicole Davenport is a two decade decorated veteran of the trans pageant circuits in Texas, Louisiana and Georgia.

She has won a long list of titles that include Miss Black Continental Plus in 2009,  being third alternate at Miss Gay USofA@ Large 2009, Miss Texas FFI at Large 2010 and most recently a third alternate finish at the Miss Gay Texas USof A 2014 pageant in Dallas.

But if New Orleans Police get their way, the only title the Louisiana-born Davenport will be competing for is Miss Imprisoned Pumper 2014.

The New Orleans Police Department have filed a warrant for the arrest of the 32 year old Davenport, who is wanted on a count of negligent injuring in connection with an October 24 silicone pumping that went badly wrong and left a woman in a coma.

A conviction for negligent injuring can carry a maximum fine of $5,000 and a six-month prison sentence.

Davenport is believed to have injected silicone into the hips and buttocks of two unidentified women late last week at a home in Gert Town on that date.

Armani Nicole DavenportAccording to a report in the Baton Rouge Advocate, the women voluntarily received hip and buttocks silicone injections at a home in the 1200 block of South Salcedo St. around 1:15 AM.

One of the women left the home around 3 AM and returned two hours later to find her friend in respiratory distress and called paramedics.   She told them as they took her friend the a nearby hospital that she thought the silicone injections were to blame and someone known to both of them as Armani or Mani from Dallas was the person who administered the injections.

The woman in distress was in critical conditional and comatose when the police report was compiled on October 25.  A friend of the comatose woman stated in a WWL-TV interview that this was the second time in a week she had received a silicone injection.

Davenport was born in Baton Rouge but is a Dallas resident.  New Orleans PD suspect she may be hiding in the New Orleans area and are asking anyone with information about Davenport’s whereabouts to call New Orleans police detective Ed Johnson at (504) 658-6060 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.

Mississippi Silicone Pumper Tracey Lynn Garner Trial Date Set

In the latest news surrounding the Tracey Lynn Garner silicone pumping case, the 53 year old Jackson, MS trans feminine pumper is now facing two depraved heart murder charges in the March 2012 deaths of 37 year old Karima Gordon of Atlanta and the January 2010 death of 23 year old Marilyn Hale of Selma, AL due to silicone butt injections that went horribly wrong.

Garner pled not guilty in a June 18 hearing in Hale's case, and a trail date hasn't been set for it.

There has been a date set for the start of Garner's trial in the Gordon case, and it is scheduled to begin March 17, 2014 after two postponements.

Natasha Stewart is also facing charges in the Karima Gordon death and pled not guilty in January to charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.  Stewart is an online model with a 48 inch pumped behind.courtesy of Garner's handiwork.

If Garner is convicted on either charge of depraved heart murder by the Hinds County jury, she is facing life imprisonment.

'Boys From Brazil' Documentary

This 1993 documentary introduces us to the world of Brazilian travestis Samira, Luciana and their friend Gaspar.   It discusses their lives in Brazil, their first failed attempt to enter Italy and follows Gaspar as he later does so alone and hooks up with another another group of Brazilian travestis living in Rome named Claudia, Sabrina and Marcela.

There's also a segment of it in which we see Luciana in the hospital getting silicone removed from one of her hips.   Yep, injecting silicone is a problemn for the Brazilian girls too just like it is here in the States..

Some of the video is NSFW, so you'lll probably need to wait until you get home to watch it..

But once again it drive home the point of trans people being part of the diverse mosaic of human life and how in many case the issues of transpeople in different parts of the world sometimes has a common thread running through them.

Silicone Pumper Oneal Morris To Do Year In Jail

Botched butt injections: Ron Oneal Morris, 32, on Thursday accepted the plea deal of 366 days in prison for one count of illegal practice of healthcareBeen keeping up with three high profile silicone pumping cases involving trans pumpers as they wind their way through the court system.

One of them is the case of now 32 year old Oneal R. Morris, the Miami, FL based pumper whose pumping concoction of Fix-a-Flat, mineral oil and cement left several women cis and trans disfigured and one cis woman dead.

When I last checked in on this case Miami-Dade District Judge Ellen Sue Venzera rejected a June 25 plea deal that would have sent Morris to jail for 180 days, required her to pay restitution to her victims and placed her on five years probation because Judge Venzera felt the deal was too light for the seriousness of the charges.

Morris accepted a plea deal yesterday in which she will serve 366 days in jail for one count of practicing medicine without a license and surrender on January 7 to begin serving that sentence.

Rajee Narinesingh, one of her pumping victims who is now an activist focusing on the dangers of silicone pumping, told the local Miami media a year in jail wasn't long enough.

Morris is still facing charges in Broward County that include manslaughter in the death of 31 year old Shatarka Nuby.

Morris Denied Plea Deal In Florida Silicone Pumping Case

Morris' butt seen in this police photo is the result of her own misadventure with the toxic cocktail of her butt injections.Serial Miami, FL based pumper Oneal R. Morris faced the legal music in Miami-Dade County for practicing medicine without a license and pumping her clients with a cocktail comprised of Fix-a-Flat, mineral oil and super glue that left several recipients ill and disfigured and at least one person dead.

On June 25 Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Ellen Sue Venzera rejected a plea deal that would have sent her to jail for 180 days, required Morris to pay restitution to her victims and placed her on five years probation.

Judge Venzera felt the plea deal sentence was too light for the seriousness of the crime, saying, ”I don’t think it’s appropriate, not for the charges, not for second-degree felonies. These charges carry 30 years.”

Prosecutors explained to the judge the plea deal would have spared victims who were sensitive and embarrassed about the notoriety of the case from having to testify in open court.

Morris is also facing manslaughter charges in Broward County for the March 2012 death of Shatarka Nuby of 'massive systemic silicone migration' from cosmetic silicone pumping buttocks injections she received in 2007 and 2008.

Tracey Lynn Garner Facing Second Murder Charge In Silicone Pumping Death

Tracey Lynn Garner of Jackson, MS is now facing a second charge of depraved heart murder to add to the one she's facing concerning the death of Karima Gordon.

Also charged in the Karima Gordon case is Natasha Stewart, an adult entertainer who goes by the name Pebbelz Da Model who accepted $200 for the pumping referral to Gordon.

Garner is now being accused of and charged with causing the January 2010 death of Selma, AL resident Marilyn Hale after another silicone butt injection that went horribly wrong.

The Jackson Clarion-Ledger story violates the AP Stylebook guidelines, but what else is new?

The new indictment issued by the Hinds County grand jury according to the in violation of the AP Stylebook guidelines story alleges that Garner, on or about Jan. 13, 2010, “did kill Marilyn Hale…by means of injecting a silicone substance into the body of Marilyn Hale, thereby committing an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved heart.”

Garner is under house arrest while awaiting a trial that has been postponed twice after being set to start on April 8 and June 10.  There is also an ongoing investigation in which the Attorney General's office is searching for more people who got pumped by Garner.

If Garner is convicted in either case she is facing life imprisonment.

Cis Women Die From Silicone Pumping-Trans Women Pumpers Facing Murder Charges For It

Silicone pumping is just not a transfeminine phenomenon any more.  Cis women are increasingly getting pumped, paying the money and in some cases traveling long distances to do so at the hands of transwomen getting paid to do the pumping..

And in some cases those cis women are paying the ultimate price for that silicone injection that goes wrong at the hands of these unlicensed pumpers.

While I'm not liking the total ineptitude of the Jackson, MS television stations to adhere to the AP Stylebook standards for reporting on transpeople, need to tell the stories and deal with the AP Stylebook violations later..

37 year old Karima Gordon of Atlanta served in the military and wanted to become a model.  She found 53 year old Tracey Lynn Garner after meeting someone on the Internet known as "Pebbles" and paying $200 for the pumping referral to Garner.

Gordon then drove to Mississippi in March with a friend to get pumped at Garner's house and became ill a few hours later.  Gordon endured a painful trip back to Atlanta where she died in a hospital a few days after the pumping procedure to enhance her buttocks.    The substance injected into Gordon was lab tested and according to authorities is alleged to be a counterfeit version of silicone.

Garner was arrested September 6, denied bail Tuesday and is in jail (guess which side) facing a depraved heart murder charge.  It's a legal term for an action that demonstrates a "callous disregard for human life" and results in death and carries a life sentence.  Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood (D) said investigators were also looking for "Pebbles" the person who referred Gordon to Garner.

Tracy Ann Garner isn't the only trans pumper facing serious charges.

In the Philadelphia area 42 year old pumper Padge Victoria Windslowe is facing third degree murder charges in the 2011 Claudia Aderotimi case.

She was arrested in an unrelated case by Philadelphia police in March just as she was about to host another pumping party.   A 23 year old exotic dancer paid Windslowe $1000 in February to pump her, became seriously ill, was hospitalized and required intensive care..

Windslowe was being held on $750,000 bail in that February case on charges of aggravated assault and deceptive business practices before she was charged July 24 with third-degree murder in 20 year old Claudia Aderotimi's death, in addition to conspiracy, reckless endangerment, possessing an instrument of crime and unauthorized practice of medicine, aggravated assault and deceptive business practices.

Down I-95 south in Miami, serial pumper Oneal R. Morris is also in jail facing murder charges.

She was not only pumping other people, as you can see by the photo she'd done some work on herself.

Morris was arrested and charged November 18, 2011 with practicing medicine without a license with serious bodily injury after a procedure she performed on transwoman Rajindra "Rajee" Narinesingh's face went badly

Morris was arrested again a mere week later along with 40 year old co-defendant Corey Alexander Eubanks, after a second alleged pumping victim came forward. Like Narinesingh's cosmetic enhancements from Morris that went wrong, the alleged victim told Miami police that Morris had injected her buttocks with a mixture of cement, Fix-A-Flat and mineral oil. Morris and Eubanks were booked into Miami-Dade County jail.

In March 2012: Oneal Morris turned herself once again to face more charges of practicing medicine without a license and practicing medicine without a license resulting in serious injury, after three new victims, 41 year old Lournise Linton, 36 year old Ophelia Parker, and Tiffany Kennedy came forward to allege that in 2009 Morris, dressed as a nurse, gave them butt injections that left them disfigured.

Morris denied it in an interview that appeared on Entertainment Tonight for some reason, but she can't cavalierly slough off the current manslaughter charges she's facing in the wake of the March death of another one of her former pumping clients, 32 year old Shatarka Nuby.

Nuby admitted to being treated by Morris prior to her death and paid hundreds of dollars to meet "Duchess' have her inject her Fix a Flat infused pumping cocktail into her breasts, thighs, hips and butt.

Nuby's death was attributed to "massive systemic silicone migration." The injection sites had turned black and the silicone in Nuby's body hardened.

One of the major reasons the pumpers keep doing it because they are making serious money off of the cis and trans women who want to enhance their looks by any means necessary.

Those three pumpers I profiled may be in jail, but there are plenty of others willing to take their place.

Windslowe Arrested For Botched Pumping Procedure

Padge Victoria Windslowe, the 42 year old transwoman who is a person of interest in the Aderotimi pumping death, was busted by the Philadelphia Police recently in the wake of a 23 year old woman nearly dying and being hospitalized for complications after she underwent pumping treatments allegedly administered by Windslowe.

Windslowe had needles, paper towels, cotton wool balls, super glue and a water bottle containing an unknown substance on her person when she was arrested according to a Philadelphia Police spokesperson.

Widnslowe is also known in the hip-hop world as 'Black Madam', and a warrant was sworn out for her arrest after the 23 year old got her buttocks pumped a few weeks ago by Windslowe.  A vein was hit and the silicone traveled through the hospitalized woman's bloodstream.

She has not been charged in the Aderotimi case because the Philadelphia Police are still waiting for the results of the toxicology test.
