If y'all thought I was being harsh for calling yesterday's star studded event at Riggleworld a hate rally, peep these shirts that were being worn by some of the attendees.

Meanwhile, the Houston LGBT community spent the day role modeling what Christianity is really supposed to be like.

Contrary to the lies you were told from the Grace KKKommunity Church stage, you DON'T have the right to discriminate against gay folks or anybody else, and that goes double if you think (and yeah I'm going there) because of your white skin and that vanillacentric privilege you're swimming in you do.

And bigotry wrapped in scripture and prayer is still bigotry.  As a Christian I'm beyond sick and tired of right wing conservafools hiding behind the Bible to push their reactionary political agenda.

Oh yeah Steve. it's been T+5 months since HERO passage, and there have STILL been no bakers in the Houston city limits forced to bake swastika cakes as you  predicted.

Don't think that non-white folks like myself didn't notice the overwhelming whiteness of the room, the suburban location of the hate rally, or the speakers flown in for this event who are heavily involved in GOP political circles and the anti-LGBT industry.

Religious Freedom' doesn't mean, 'I get to be as bigoted, hateful and intolerant as I want to peeps I despise and you can't call me on it."    

As I said during the HERO battle and will continue to say it, you don't like me or anyone else in the trans, bi and SGL community calling you haters and bigots, stop behaving like it.

What it means is you can have whatever religious beliefs you wish.  What you can't do is try to forcibly impose them upon me, or use political power to do so. 

In a pluralistic society that has multiple faiths and even allows you the right to not have a religious faith preference if you so choose, that's the way it needs to be.

As my homegirl Christina Gorczynski said in an interview yesterday, "Religious freedom and equality go together, they're not mutually exclusive."

But unfortunately, some of y'all in your zeal to rewrite history and christopimp forgot that salient point.
 

SBC Officially Hates The Trans Community

Count the Southern Baptists along with the Roman Catholic Church as a religious denomination that officially has an anti-transgender policy.  

Yesterday the faith based Southern Baptist bigots at their conference in Baltimore continued their nearly decade long history of ramping up hatred of transpeople by overwhelmingly passed the Denny Burk proposed resolution that condemns trans people.

Why am I not surprised the 5000 messengers (convention delegates) went there?  The Southern Baptists already have a long negative history of being on the wrong side of all the human rights movements of the 19th and 20th century.   By hating on transpeople, they keep their reprehensible streak of misguided white privileged hatred for people not like them going into the 21st century. 

And naw, you SBC peeps electing Ronnie Floyd as your president with the same homophobic baggage isn't going to distract us.  Neither will it change the fact this was faith-based transphobia at a scale not seen since the Catholic Church unleashed their anti-trans doctrine in 2003.

That Catholic anti-trans doctrine is a contributing factor to the off the charts anti-trans violence my Latina trans sisters experience in Latin America and my eastern European trans sisters deal with.  

SBC, you were on the wrong side of history in terms of supporting slavery, Jim Crow segregation, opposing women's suffrage, the African-American Civil Rights Movement, interracial marriage, and marriage equality.

Now you can add hatred of trans people to that list.   And the mind blowing thing about this passed resolution is that you arrogantly put yourselves on the opposite side of the words of Jesus himself in pushing this hate on trans people policy.

As a matter of fact, here's some more words from the Good Book that point out just how off the rails y'all are before I even begin to drop the avalanche of scientific research done on and about transpeople you faith based fools obviously are ignoring. 

Your hatred of trans people is not going reverse the two decade old trend of declining membership at SBC affiliated churches.  Neither will it make your denomination attractive to young people and other fair minded folks who count transpeople among their friends and relatives.

But thanks SBC for doing the trans community and our allies a favor and letting us know exactly where we stand with you.  You Satan's helpers are officially an enemy to our community just like the trans exterminationalist radical feminists (TERF's) and will be treated as such from this day forward. 

Transphobic bigotry wrapped in scripture is still transphobic bigotry, and that salient fact isn't going to change no matter what y'all told yourselves after that vote.

And the only way you'll see trans people darkening the doors of your church sanctuaries is protesting outside of them.
 

Houston HERO Opponent Accused Of Sexual Harassment

“I say to you, what if I came into the bathroom while you were sitting on the toilet? Wouldn’t you feel uncomfortable?”

Yeah, your comment is cringe inducing now that we are aware the reason you lost your city job was because of a sexual harassment allegation, according to a News 92FM report from Adela Uchida

Kendall Baker, the pastor at StraightUp Ministries World Church, is also a member of the Houston Area Pastor's Council that has been fighting the HERO.

He has been one of the pastors featured along with the Rev. Max Miller used as the faces of the anti-HERO effort by Dave Welch and Dave Wilson.  They have used non-white ministers as their spokespeople in an attempt to present the veneer of a multicultural, broad based coalition, when the reality is the coalition is overwhelmingly dominated by the usual H-town white evangelical Christian conservative haters with ties to the Republican Party.  

Baker was the former manager of the City of Houston's 311 Services Division until his suspension and termination.  After a female employee filed a complaint on June 27, 2013, the Office of Inspector General found during the subsequent investigation that Baker solicited sexual acts, made crude remarks about female anatomy and hugged subordinate female employees. 

Baker was also alleged to have solicited donations for his church, which he denied according to the OIG report.

During the May 13 public comment session, there was a snippy exchange between Mayor Parker and Baker that was a things that make you go hmm moment, but we now realize is related to this situation.

In response to testimony questions about the OIG and their potential role in investigating HERO complaints, Baker said:  "The reason I know the OIG is overwhelmed is because I just ended a 28-year, 11-month career with the city and was wrongfully terminated and the OIG did not handle the case appropriately.”

Mayor Parker's response to Baker's comment was:  

“Absolutely, you are proof we do a good job in the OIG, sir.”

As of yet Baker hasn't responded to media requests for comments concerning the sexual harassment  allegations that led to his termination from his city job. 

But isn't that special (and not surprising) that one of Dave Welch's Pastor Council sheeple hypocritically lives in a glass house.  

Faith Based Cognitive Dissonance

Ran into that all last month from the faith-based HERO haters at 901 Bagby Street   

But note to the Christians uber Alles crowd:  The HERO has been in effect a week.  Still no fire and brimstone raining down upon the city.  Still no bakers being forced to make swastika cakes or any of your other parade of horribles coming to pass.

And yes, discrimination's time has expired in H-town to the relief of everyone who has been victimized by it.
 

Another Tuesday, Another HERO Fight

Today may be the first Tuesday in June, but what this day actually is turning out to be is the first battle of the fight to keep our just passed Houston Equal Rights Ordinance from being rolled back by the faith-based bigots.   

It's the first Tuesday City Council comment session since the ordinance passed and went into effect on May 28.

Many of us on Team HERO had planned to go to City Council, thank Mayor Parker and the 10 council members who voted in favor of expanding rights for all Houstonians. But it looks like our haters also targeted this June 3 council meeting to express their HERO hatred.   They were frustrated that Team HERO dominated the chambers and the speaker counts 447-98.  Pro-HERO ministers outnumbered the anti-HERO hater ministers by a 2-1 margin and most importantly, we dominated the media optics during the HERO passage fight.  

Note to the HERO haters.  The city is still standing.  The Houston skies did not see fire and brimstone descend upon it.  The mayor and the ten council members who voted for passage didn't turn into pillars of salt.   The sun has continued to rise in the east and set in the west.  No Houston baker has been forced to bake a swastika cake against their will   Transpeople are using the bathrooms according to their outward gender presentation without incident. 

None of your parade of horribles has happened short of y'all showing your nekulturny asses and issuing death threats to Mayor Parker. 

And you faith based bigots are STILL on the wrong side of history.  You lied, you lost 11-6 and you need to get over it.  Houston is a much better city because that ordinance is on the books.  Your reprehensible behavior is our best evidence why the HERO needed to pass..

Discrimination's time has expired in my hometown, and I'm going to fight with every fiber of my being alongside Team HERO to keep it that way.  

So once again, if you can show up and show out and join me, Amelia, Dee Dee and Team HERO in Houston City Council chambers, I ask that you get there no later than noon CDT for the public comment session that will start at 1:30 PM

Remember, decline to sign for the next 30 days ANY petition that is thrust upon you for your signature.   The anti-HERO peeps need to collect  25,000 signatures to force a referendum.

TransGriot Update: Turn out the spike in speakers was over a proposed transportation ordinance debating eideshare companies Uber and Lyft's entry into the Houston market.  No haters at City Hall, but members were surprised that members of our community would come to thank them for passing an ordinance. 

 

Another Reason Why We Need A HERO In Houston

Her ignorance was so mind boggling I initially forgot to write her name down.   Her hubby Steve, who is the senior pastor of Grace Community Church tried and failed just as miserably to defend the indefensible.

AB 1266 Random Sample Validation Deadline Today

My Left Coast transpeople and their allies have their eyes turned toward their state capital of Sacramento awaiting word on whether the transphobic haters efforts to put a repeal effort on the ballot for have successfully made it to the next round of the process or they failed.

Deadline for all 58 California counties to complete the random sample validation is January 8, but hope the supporters have been using their time wisely and setting up their game plan in case this does happen.  

AB 1266 went into effect on January 1, so it is NOT on hold pending the results of the signature count.

And the news so far has been bad for the Forces of Intolerance trying to kill the law.   The Orwellian named Privacy For All Student (PFAS) group needed to gather 504,760 signatures to put the issue on the November 4 ballot, and the PFAS haters verification percentage has been steady at 78.24%   

Even with the Mono and Tulare County petitions that were ordered by a state judge to be checked because they were initially refused because they came in after the Veterans Day weekend deadline didn't help the PFAS haters much.   The Mono County only added 17 signatures to the total and the Tulare County ones added another 3,872.

If that continues to be the case, it means that they will have submitted 484,487 signatures, 20,000 shy of the number needed and the attempt to put AB 1266 on the ballot for repeal will have failed.

We'll find out later this afternoon if that still is the case.

I Don't Like Bryan Fischer Bullying Cassidy, Either

If you thought I was kidding about the christohaters shifting tactics and aiming their vitriol at the trans community in the wake of them losing their war against the gay community and same gender marriage, more irrefutable evidence is piling up that we're being targeted. 

First there is the increasing anti-trans rhetoric from Fox Noise followed by the resistance put up in August by Texas and national transphobes to San Antonio adding gender identity and sexual orientation to their non-discrimination ordinance earlier this month followed by the announcement of California transphobes that they are going after the groundbreaking AB 1266 by gathering signatures to force a referendum to overturn the law.    

Now in the wake of Cassidy's historic win as homecoming queen in Huntington Beach, CA, the transphobic haters have come out and launched vicious attacks on her.   One of those transphobic haters has a radio frequency as his bully pulpit in Bryan Fischer.

The spokesidiot of the SPLC-certified hate group the American Fascist Family Association took time on his radio show to bully a 16 year teen.   How pathetic is that? 

We trans people don't have a psychological problem, we exist and are part of the diverse mosaic of human life that God created.   It is you who needs psychological help for being a pathological liar and transphobe that violates every known standard of morality and decency. 

Keep it up Bryan and transphobes.  The more you scream and yell, the more you make our case for the swift enactment of ENDA, and more state and local non-discrimination laws to protect trans Americans from hatemongers like you.and your friends.

I Welcome Your Hatred, Robyn

Because I call crap out, ain't 'scurred' to talk about whiteness, white privilege and how it deleteriously affects this community and call out the TS separatists (and others) for their racism and bigotry I have more than a few white sheet wearing detractors who straight up hate me.

Ho hum, Robyn Carolyn Montague is still bitter because I won't add her to the now 1800 people on my Facebook page.  All I have to say to you and the people that share your opinion of moi is I welcome your hatred.

And yeah, bear in mind that I've been active in this community for 15 years and contrary to your jacked up vanillacentric perspective, my friends in it who have my back don't always share my ethnic background.

Why Y'alll STILL Hatin' On Beyonce?

Frankly, I think a lot of the industrial sized Hateraid that's directed at Beyonce Giselle Knowles stems from jealousy. She's living what seems like a fairy-tale life. She's breathtakingly beautiful but down to earth. She's won Grammys. She sings the national anthem at the 2004 Super Bowl played in our hometown. She has a wealthy boyfriend in Jay-Z. She just became the first non-athlete, non-model and the second African-American woman to do the coveted Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover solo. If I'd come up with her story as the basis for a fiction novel people would roll their eyes and claim it's unrealistic.

It's been a week since the inauguration in which she did a kick azz rendition of the national anthem and  looked good doing so until US Marine Corps band member Master Sgt. Kristin duBois mysteriously opened her mouth and accused her of lip syncing it.   

Still have to ask the things that make you go hmm questions as to what motivated Sgt duBois to do so in the first place.  I'd also like to know more about her accuser Sgt duBois down to her ethnic background.. 

I also find it interesting that duBois and the media were quick to claim Kelly Clarkson wasn't lip syncing, but felt the need to pile on Beyonce Knowles-Carter. 

Even Sen Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who is head of the Joint committee that organizes the inauguration event is reportedly demanding an apology. 

Careful Chuck, Jay Z is a New York resident and probably won't be too happy that you're joining in the media feeding frenzy and fake controversy aimed at his wife.  He may remember that when you show up at his office in 2016 trying to get a contribution for your reelection campaign  


So what's up with the hatin' on Beyonce meme that seems to be fueling this kefluffle along with the deep seated conservaneed to do something to embarrass the POTUS?

Some of you peeps just live for hatin' on Beyonce, whether it's the feminist community , the gossip blogosphere, or just you peeps full of foaming at the mouth jealously that Beyonce in her 31 years on the planet has been blessed many times over.

You peeps hating on Beyonce isn't going to change the fact she has a daughter, married a man that is worth $500 million, has $200 million of her own money in the bank, had a trophy case full of awards, and will be the halftime entertainer at this year's Super Bowl.

And she's once again is going to look fabulous doing it.

East Aurora, IL School Board Caves To The Bigots Again

What started out as a wonderful happening for the kids in the East Aurora, IL district when their school board passed a trans inclusive policy only to cave on it days later after opposition from the SPLC certified hate group the Illinois Family Association is getting more exasperation inducing as it goes along. 

After the IFA browbeat the school board into rescinding the policy, the East Aurora board announced the formation of an ad hoc committee to formulate a new policy to protect their trans and gender variant students.

But as I feared when the board caved initially to the IFA in October and emboldened the transphobes, they simply doubled down on the bullying tactics in an attempt to kill any trans inclusive policy from being crafted and adopted.   At a November 30 meeting of the ad hoc committee they filled the room with 120 opponents of the trans inclusive policy and disrupted it to the point the committee couldn't conduct business.   

Anita Lewis, the school board member chairing the ad hoc committee declined to schedule another meeting, and now the East Aurora IL school board has caved once again to the transphobic bigots. 

The board dissolved the ad hoc committe that was formed to craft a trans policy that would be in their words when they formed it 'a model to the nation'.

Yeah East Aurora, IL school board.   You're a model to the nation all right.   You caved in the face of intolerant bigots, reversed a policy that would have protected your trans and gender variant students and now left them vulnerable to the very bigots you sought to protect them from.

You also sent a message to those trans and gender variant students in this district that you as a school board would (and have) throw them under the bus and not stand and deliver for them when they needed you to. 

I hope your profiles in cowardice are rewarded with all of your being voted out of office by progressive minded parents and residents and you are replaced by civic minded people who will do what's right for all the kids of the East Aurora district.  

They need school board members who will stand by their principled decisions,  not retreat from them in the face of loud and wrong opposition.  

Stop Hatin' On Dr. Susan Rice, Sen. John McCain

I've noted this racist pattern conservafools have of hatin' on African-American Obama Administration senior officials. 

First it was Van Jones and Desiree Rogers, then you tried to attack US Attorney General Eric Holder for doing his damned job and putting a halt to your voter suppression bull feces, and now you fools are coming after UN Ambassador Dr. Susan E. Rice.

By the way, happy birthday Dr Rice!   She was born in Washington DC on this date in 1964.  

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has been the point conservafool on this political smearing attack of Dr. Rice along with Sen Lindsey Graham (R-SC) whose pink elephant behind needs to come out of the closet.

Oops, did I say that?  

Back to riffing on Sen John McCain and his loud and wrong attacks on Ambassador Rice, who is a potential nominee to replace Secretary of State Hillary Clinton when she steps down. 

I know John McCain, the man who chose intellectually challenged Sarah Palin to be his vice presidential running mate.didn't just part his lips to say that he would do everything in his power to stop that nomination if it happened, and in addition to that had the unmitigated gall to call her 'not very bright' 

Senator McCain is in no position to judge who is 'not very bright', since he graduated 894th out of 898 people in his Naval Academy class.  

Dr Rice on the other hand was valedictorian of her HS class, a Phi Beta Kappa history student at Stanford and a Rhodes Scholar.  

'Not very bright'?    Yeah, right.   I have three words for you Senator McCain.  Take it away, Mr. T.

And stop hatin' on Dr. Susan Rice.  She'll be a far better Secretary of State that the other non-related Republican Rice you supported. 

Want Fries With That Transphobic Hate Crime?

Can we trans women have a day in which somebody is not fracking with either us or the people who give a damn about us?  

Guess that's too much to ask.

The latest incident of cis haters gone wild happened in New York's Greenwich Village gayborhood at a McDonald's at 136 W. Third Street on September 19 to a transwoman and her boyfriend.

That particular Mickey D's has been plagued by some recent disturbing incidents including a patron badly beaten up in March 2011 because someone didn't like his pink tennis shoelaces.

Jamar McLeod, 24, told the NY Daily News he and his girlfriend, 22 year old Jalisa “JoJo” Griffen had just picked up her hormone medicine Wednesday night and were headed back to their apartment in Bushwick when they headed into the fast food restaurant on W. Third St. around 7 PM EDT to grab something to eat and use the bathroom

While in line McLeod got into a conversation with Griffen about how people were being attacked just for being gay.  He was overheard by their 350 pound tormentor Keith Patron, who butted into their conversation and started hurling homophobic slurs at the couple punctuated with '"I can't stand gay people."

McLeod implored him to leave it alone, but the bully from the Bronx escalated the verbal abuse when Griffen headed to the ladies bathroom.  Patron said she needed to 'use the men's room', kept up the homophobic and transphobic slurs and threatened to beat her up.  McLeod told him that wasn't happening, and he wasn't touching his girlfriend without going through him first.  

They ended up outside the restaurant and after ducking a swing from the McHater McLeod proceeded to give the transphobic bully a proper beatdown complete with a knee to the groin and a punch to the face. 

That's when the 44 year old Patron pulled out a razor and slashed McLeod on the elbow, neck and face.  He was treated at Bellevue Hospital and released but unfortunately the scars from the unprovoked attack will be permanent ones.  

Patron was arrested and charged with assault as a hate crime.  He's being held in jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond and hopefully justice will prevail in this case.

But once again, it's a situation occurring in which we're minding our own business and trying to get through our day without drama, and some phobic idiot thinks he has carte blanche to say and do anything they wish to us.

And that shyt needs to stop.   It will only stop when people are properly prosecuted and sent to jail for doing so.

Yo PETA, Upset Because Michael Vick Gets More Love Than Y'all Do?

I'm still laughing my butt off about the hatin' that PETA continues to do when it comes to Michael Dwayne Vick.

Did it not occur to y'all PETAoids that the man has done his time, lost everything and suffered for the crime he committed, but yet in your vanilla privileged addled minds he hasn't suffered enough? 

Did it occur to you that the more you try to undermine him the more racist you look to the African American community?    Do you even care?   

You already have issues and a negative reputation concerning your repeated racism and engaging in other isms in the name of your cause.  Having PETA head Ingrid Newkirk palling around with Bill O'Reilly doesn't help that negatiove rep either.

I'm chuckling because the PETAoids as part of their seemingly perpetual Hate On Michael Vick Campaign sent e-mails to EA Sports demanding that he not appear on the cover again of future editions of Madden NFL and they were told go to hades.  

"We believe that Michael Vick, as the runner-up in MVP for the league and the comeback player of the year, deserved his slot."  said EA Sports president Peter Moore.

Oh yeah, can't forget he started for the NFC in the Pro Bowl too.

Aww, your blood must really be boiling now with his new $100 million contract, him becoming the undisputed starter for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Eagles sucessfully getting their 2011 NFL season off to a great start yesterday with their 31-13 win over the St. Louis Rams.

But keep on hatin' PETA.  It's what y'all do best in addition to giving the cause of fighting animal cruelty a bad name.

Thanks Too Much Nonsense for revealing you electronic brownshirts jacked up strategy, but ho hum, it's a tactic I've already recognized that comes from battling the conservafool movement:. Demonizing your opponent and making up an external enemy to organize and rally your small fanatical minions around.

That's so 1930's and reminiscent of a failed European dictatorship.     

I know who my adversaries are as well.   WWBT's.   White Women Born Transsexual.   A cadre of latte sipping white transwomen who pine for their lost WMP, think genitalia = gender identity and are pissed after spending all that money to get SRS are still getting 'sirred' wherever they go. 

They want to blame somebody for their lack of status on this side of the gender fence and their ire that they don't have vanilla scented juice equivalent to what they left behind falls on the Tee Gees, the crossdressers, and Gay, Inc.   They blame those peeps for the 'oppression' they face that keeps them from reaching the glorious heights they are destined for as exclusive members of the Transsexual Master Race. 


Unlike the rest of the trans community who may be running 'scurred' of y'all or are blind to your true racist, exclusionary bull feces, I and others in this community didn't fall for your crap wrapped in radical feminist hate speech and don't fear your cognitively challenged fugly behinds.

And fools is the operative word for you.  I was content to live my life, work on my award winning blog, stand up for this community's civil rights, collect an award here and there, occasionally put you WWBT's on blast and go back to ignoring your self-hating vanilla privileged intellectually deficient anuses until y'all stepped to me.
 

Since y'all got my attention and declared me as one of your 'enemies', it's on like Donkey Kong ubermenschen.

And I have a message for the rest of the community who is sitting on the sidelines as these loud and wrong traitorous self haters continue to attack this community and people who stand up to their cyber brownshirt tactics. 

Instead of coddling their sorry vanilla privileged late transitioning Medusaesque azzes, when are we folks who are under verbal assault by them for standing up to their behinds going to see the rest of you so called mainstream white trans leaders stand up and call these fools out on a regular basis?

If Toni, Autumn, Marti, Cristan and I can repeatedly call these peeps out and debunk their lies, where are the rest of you?


Your silence is tacit acceptance of their hateful diatribes aimed at other transpeople who aren't reeking of vanilla scented privilege and is not an option anymore.
