TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards- Last Fool Of 2018 Edition

This year is rapidly drawing to a close in a little over 72 hours, but it is ending on a high note for me.

I got to spend a awesome Christmas Day with my mom, sister and niece.  Received for Christmas a new leather wallet I sorely needed along with a few gift cards that will be put to proper use over the next few weeks.

And when the New Year rings in at midnight Central standard time, it'll not only be my blog's 13th anniversary, but my home county will get even bluer.

We'll also find out who becomes this year's TransGriot Shut Up Fool of the Year.

But before we say sayonara  to 2018, got some TransGriot blog business to handle on the last full week of this year.   Gotta call out this week''s final TransGriot Shut Up Fool winner.

As usual, the fools runneth over this week, but I have to give it to Martina Navratilova this week

She been outspoken about LGBTQ rights for over 40 years, but Martina inexplicably let loose an ignorant comment about trans athletes that right wingers and the TERF's gleefully ran with and Trans World immediately called her out about.

“You can’t just proclaim yourself a female and be able to compete against women,” Navratilova tweeted. “There must be some standards, and having a penis and competing as a woman would not fit that standard.”

She deleted the transphobic tweet, but only after Renee Richards called her azz out on it along with other current trans athletes.    Navratilova then started playing the white women's tears card whining about being 'bullied and attacked'.

Naw boo boo kitty, you said the transphobic shyt, so have the ovaries to take the criticism that comes with saying loud and wrong facts free anti-trans commentary.

And oh yeah, did I forget to mention that Renee Richards was not only Martina's coach for more than a minute, the period Renee was coaching Martina is when she started dominating the sport in the 1980's, became the world's number one player and won two of her seven Wimbledon singles crowns.

And yet, Martina still threw her and trans feminine athletes under the human rights bus.

TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards- The Shortest Day Of The Year Edition

For those of us living in the Northern Hemisphere, today is the shortest day of the year and the first day of the winter solstice.

It's the moment in which planet Earth's axis is farthest away from the Sun.  For peeps in the Southern hemisphere, that day happens in June.

This 2018 solstice is going to be extra special because it not only will be followed tomorrow by a full moon and depending on your local conditions, a meteor shower/.

Translation: It's going to get dark early tonight and it will be the longest night of the year..   After today, the days will gradually start lengthening by a few minutes every day until June.

We only have one more Friday after this one to choose Shut Up Fool winners in 2018.   I'll also choose my 2018 TransGriot Shut Up Fool of the Year on New Year's Eve.

The 2018 finalists will be revealed on Christmas Eve.

So let's get to this week's fool    Despite a long list of peeps I could have chose like Sucker Tucker Carlson, Ann Coulter,  Dolt 45,  Speaker Paul Ryan, and Franklin Graham for starters, this week's winner is Katrina Pierson.

Trying to deflect from this toxic waste dump of a POTUS and probably auditioning to replace Sarah Suckabee Sanders as press secretary propaganda minister, Pierson tweeted on Thursday that 'John McCain still refuses to answer questions about his role' in the dossier alleging many damning ties between Trump and the Russians written by former MI6 spy Christopher Steele. 

Um, girlfriend.  Did you forget that Sen John McCain DIED almost four months ago on August 25?

The Net didn't, and they are relentlessly mocking her clueless behind for it.

TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards- A Date That Will Live In Infamy Edition

Today happens to be the 77th anniversary of the 1941 surprise attack by Japan on the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii that brought the US into World War II

2,355 Americans lost their lives in the attack and another 1,145 people were wounded.  18 ships, including five battleships were lost on a day that President Franklin D. Roosevelt described as 'a date that will live in infamy.

It was also a day that changed the course of American history

Today is also Friday, and you TransGriot readers know what that means.   Once again I get to call out people who have committed war on facts and reason, have said some off the charts idiocy, and it's time to drop the truth bomb on them.

This week's fool is E.W. Jackson. 

This conservakneegrow pastor went on an 8 minute rant on his radio show aimed at incoming congress members Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib  (D-MI)  who also happen to be Muslim.

Jackson stated that 'Muslims will turn Congress into an institution of Sharia law' and threw in the US is being turned 'into a Islamic republic' dig just for good measure.

Rep-elect Omar clapped back yesterday by reminding Jackson that the floor of Congress will look more like America. 


In the upcoming 116th Congress,  120 women will be part of it.  110 people of color were also elected.   Diversity is America's strength, not a weakness as you faith based conservafools have your vanillacentric privileged sheep believing .

TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards- Last Friday In November Edition

It seems like it was just months ago we partying like it was 1999 as we welcomed 2018.   Now we're four weeks from ending this year and moving on to 2019.

It also seems to me as you get older, time moves faster.  New Year's Eve also doesn't feel the same to me ever since Dick Clark passed away.

Oh well, enough jibber jabber.   Time to get to this week's person or persons who earned this week's TransGriot Shut Up Fool Award. 

While there were some worthy nominees this week like Agent Orange, Sarah Suckabee Sanders, Paul Ryan, Ivanka Trump, Andrea Long Chu, Paul Manafort and Kevin Hart, once again for the second straight week, just going to get right to calling out this week's fool,

Bigot Barbie couldn't stop herself from letting something asinine slide from that pretty mouth when she shared in the wake of the reprehensible teargassing of asylum seekers on the Mexican border that it 'made her Thanksgiving weekend.'

Really, rhymes with witch?   Was your Thanksgiving so jacked up that you considered that odious event to be the highlight of your holiday weekend?   

You're definitely a top contender for the 2018 TransGriot Shut Up Fool of the Year Award when I announce it on New Year's Eve.

TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards- Black Friday 2018 Edition

It's Black Friday, and hordes of shoppers are working off those post-Thanksgiving calories swarming the malls and strip shopping centers of America ready to trample and beat up their fellow Americans in search of Christmas shopping deals and deeply discounted bargains. 

And it's one thing I definitely don't miss about being in retail.

I know y'all have missed my Shut Up Fool Award posts.  You have told me so as I have been out and about.  I stopped doing them for awhile because I was living a stress filled nomadic life for two months as I was trying to get settled in the wake of moving into my new place. 

It was also because as our Shut Up Fool inspiration, Mr T says, 'Fools are everywhere!'  The number of fools showing their azzes in the Trump misadminstration, the GOP, the evilgelicals, conservafool movement and internationally during that time was getting so overwhelming I had to take a break from it because I had enough on my plate.

But to the consternation of fools everywhere and your reading pleasure, I'm rested and ready to call the fools out.

This week's winner is embattled US Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Confederacy Mississippi)

She has turned what should have been an easy re -election runoff race between her and former congressman and Agriculture Secretary Mike Espy into one eerily replicating for Republicans what happened in neighboring Alabama.

And Mississippi, FYI, has a larger Black population than Alabama does.

She has made comments at a Tupelo event about 'being on the front row of a public hanging', and being in favor of suppressing the votes of people and Black college students.

Hyde-Smith is now complaining that the 'Democrats are tuning my words into a political weapon to be used against me."

You damned skippy they are since you were clueless enough to say them.

That's before I even get to the picture she took at Jefferson Davis' house in Biloxi wearing a Confederate soldiers cap and standing next to someone who is a member of an SPLC-certified hate group.

She has returned contributions from Walmart ($2000), Google ($5000) and $2700 from a Seattle businessman accused of discriminating against Muslims.

As Mike Espy said during the debate, "We don't know what's in your heart, but we all know what came out of your mouth." 

Yeah, we do Confederate boo boo kitty.   You flapped those lips and let the dog whistle hate speech flow.  If you didn't want your word to become a campaign issue, should've kept them to yourself

This Sunday marks the first anniversary of the hate rally in Charlottesville, VA that led the the death of Heather Heyer and others being injured when a Nazi deliberately drove his car into a crowd of people.

And what was Dolt 45's response?   The Nazis are 'very fine people.'   Yeah, right.

Now the emboldened white supremacists are taking their hate speech to Washington DC's Lafayette Park for another 'Unite The Right' hate rally

This kneegrow is doing his best Uncle Ruckus impression by continuing to try to justify cooning it up with Trump at that WH meeting in which another kneegrow pastor laughing claimed that Trump is the 'most pro Black president ever by blasphemously claiming that meeting with Trump is equivalent to meeting with Jesus. 

Really fool?   It's time for you to have a come to Jesus meeting with the Black community.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Do You Know The Way To Santa Fe Edition?

Just south of me in the exurb of Santa Fe, TX in Galveston County another school shooting happened today in which so far 10 people have died and 10 others have been wounded.

My condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in this preventable tragedy.

A nice kid whit identity extremist, 17 year old Dimitrios Pagourtzis has been arrested and charged with capital murder and aggravated assault on a police officer in this terrorist attack 

Now it's time to put some peeps on blast in my weekly TransGriot Shut Up Fool post.

In their zeal to absolve their NRA paymasters for the blood they have on their hands for their inaction in banning AR-15 assault rifles, once again GOP politicians and conservative pundits have either gone radio silent or let something stupid come out of their mouths.

Honorable Mention number three is Tomi Lahren, who once again opened her lip glossed mouth and let something ignorant fly out of it. .  Xenophobic Barbie let fly some anti-immigrant comments she got dragged about. 

Honorable mention number four is to 2018 SUF of the Year candidate Paris Dennard for once again cooning it up fo Trump and being a real life Uncle Ruckus.

Honorable mention number five is Rudy Giuliani, who tried to get mad when he went on CNN to do an interview with Chris Cuomo and got busted when a clip was played of him saying 'presidents need to obey subpoenas'

Laughing my butt off watching it.    Dude, you keep digging that legal hole for Trump and making it too easy for the inevitable Mueller Time legal hammer to come down on Dolt 45.  . 

This week's Shut Up Fool loser winner is none other than Texas Lt Governor Dan Patrick, our 2017 TransGriot Shut Up Fool of the Year winner.

Potty Dan opened  his mouth and let something stupid come out of it while commenting on the tragedy by claiming that  too many entrances and exits lead to school shootings.

“We have to look at the design of our schools moving forward and retrofitting schools that are already built... there are too many entrances and too many exits to our over 8,000 campuses in Texas,” Patrick said in an afternoon press conference. 

“There aren’t enough people to put a guard at every entrance and exit...maybe we need to look at limiting the entrance and exits into our schools so that we can have law enforcement looking at the people coming in through one or two entrances.”

You are aware you idiot that those multiple entrances and exits in a school help facilitate the quick exit of thousands of people out of a burning building in the event of a fire, right?

And if your idea had been in place at Santa Fe High School, far more people would have died in the terrorist attack.

Every few years my birthday falls on a Friday, and you know what you TransGriot readers get every Friday and on the TransGriot Weekly show, a Shut Up Fool honoree.

So before I cut the birthday cake and celebrate another year of being on this space rock, I get to call some fools out.

Honorable mention number one everybody inside the DC Beltway and the media who attacked MIchelle Wolf for calling them out during last weekend's White House Correspondents Dinner.

Honorable mention number two  is Mike Huckabee for going on FOX Noise and threatening people who justifiably call his daughter the WH Mistress of Propaganda out with 'dire consequences'.

Shut Up Fool Awards- The 2018 NFL Draft Edition

I'm up here for BTAC at the same time the NFL Draft is happening in Dallas.  While we're handling our Black trans community business through Sunday, the NFL will be handling theirs through Sunday at AT&T Stadium and The Star Complex.

But this week's Shut Up Fool winner is Bill Cosby's publicist Ebonee Benson,.

Cosby was convicted yesterday on three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault and is facing 30 years in prison.

Benson went on Good Morning America and tried to compare the case to the savage murder of Emmett Till in addition to insinuating that all 60 women who accused Cosby of sexual assault of lying.

Naw Ebonne, how dare you try to compare this case to what Emmett Till suffered.   Cosby wasn't being lynched, he was being tried and convicted in the court system for what he was accused and convicted of doing. .

This is about sexual assault and rape, not race, and the vast majority of his victims are other Black women.

Shut Up Fool Awards- It's Taurus Time Edition

Today starts the zodiac period from April 20 to May 20 of all us proud members born under the sign of the Bull, AKA Taurus/

The long list of famous people born under this sign include Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Queen Elizabeth II, George Clooney, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson, Jessica Alba, Cher, George Lucas, Rosario Dawson, Jet Li, Carol Burnett, Mark Zuckerberg, and some award winning blogger y'all may have heard of.

This week's winner I'm going to the Mother Continent for in Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni 

He opened up his homophobic mouth and put his foot in it by making the statement that there is no oral sex in Uganda, 

President Museveni  claims the practice has been pushed on Ugandans by "outsiders," and argues that the mouth is solely for eating.

"Let me take this opportunity to warn our people publicly about the wrong practices indulged in and promoted by some of the outsiders," he told the press during an address.

"One of them is what they call oral sex. The mouth is for eating, not for sex. We know the address of sex, we know where sex is," he continued.

Yeah, right.  You have 41.5 million people in your nation, and they are probably like the rest of the world laughing at your azz for even saying something that cluelessly stupid before they engage in consensual oral sex

You want to ban it because you probably aren't getting it on the regular.

As y'all know, I'm here in Las Vegas to do a political training conducted by the Working Families Party, and it's been an interesting one so far.

I'm here as the NHL playoffs are happening, and it's all about the Vegas Golden Knights, the NHL expansion club that won the Pacific Division in their inaugural season and are know locked ina playoff series against the Los Angeles Kings. 

LA is a mere 263 miles down I-15 from Las Vegas, so this playoff series is already intense because no matter what the sport, everybody wants to Beat LA in it  . 

I have something else I'm doing in town besides watching hockey or heading to the casino.  This is a business trip, and I'm here for the Working Families Party Spring School and get my learn on.

It's also Friday and that means I have to conduct my usual TransGriot business of calling out a fool, for group of fools out.

As a longtime Earth Wind and Fire fan, I was ready to regurgitate my breakfast when Swift tried it and Pat Booned a classic song that probably has Maurice White spinning in his grave because she did so.

Shut Up Fool Awards- First Week Of April Edition

As an adult I've noticed that the one thing that moves at lightning speed is time.   Years that seemed as a kid to take eons to pass zip by in the blink of an eye as my transiversary earlier this week pointed out to me.

2018 has now moved into April, and that means I'm on countdown to another Cuatro de Mayo celebration. 

But lets get to our usual Friday business of calling out fools, idiots, hypocrites and arrogant people who are operating with WTF level chutzpah.

It's time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

I'm just going straight to this week's winner.

This week's loser winner is one I've gots to call out because she is a Democrat and in this age of Trump we need to have zero tolerance for this type of idiocy.

Florida state rep Kimberly Daniels (D-Jacksonville) is a controversial former Jacksonville City Council member who is now serving her first term as a Florida state legislator.

She was also the sponsor of the 'In God We Trust' bill that was passed in the wake of the Parkland, FL mass shooting that mandates the placing of 'In God We trust' signs in all Florida public schools instead of passing a gun control bill.

Homegirl seems to have gotten her legislative duties confused with her evangelical preaching day job.  The state of Florida's government is based on its constitution, not the Bible.   Not only does the separation of church and state matter, faith based ignorance has no place in our legislative process. 

I can't trust a Black woman to lead who doesn't know this basic fact. Neither can I trust a Black woman to lead who has made anti Semitic statements.   Daniels is quoted as saying that "You can talk about the Holocaust, but the Jews own everything:.

WTF? 

During her closing statement for this bill, she went full Aunt Jemima and thanked God for slavery..

Nope, this is NOT an April Fools joke.   Note today's date.

"I thank God for slavery. If it wasn't for slavery I might be somewhere in Africa worshiping a tree."



Oh hell no..  Somebody in Jacksonville please run in the Democratic primary against her.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Last Weekend In PyeongChang Edition

The 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang are coming to a close and Team USA is making a late run for medals in some unexpected sports.

They will be competing in the gold medal match vs Sweden in men's curling after knocking off the world number one ranked Canadians TWICE to get there.   We picked up an unexpected gold medal in the cross country ski relay. It was the first medal ever for USA women in the sport, the first gold in cross country skiing by any American of any gender  and the first since Bill Koch won a silver in the 30km race in Innsbruck in 1976

Amd yes, the USA women finally captured that second elusive gold medal in Olympic hockey over their bitter north of the border rivals

But as the Winter Games come to a close and the hosting toch gets passed north to Beijing in 2022, the fools among us keep striving for perfection in our news cycle.  They are chasing idiocy, hypocrisy and WTF level outright lying.

So here's this week's medalists for the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards, Olympic style

The bronze medal goes to the World Peace and Unification Sanctuary in Newfoundland, PA who mere days after a mass shooting happened in Florida that killed 17 people with this assault, is happening a blessing ceremony for AR-15's

Really?   You ammaosexuals really love your guns. 

The silver medal is a joint one to the NRA and the Republican Party for every stupid comment or attempt they have made to spin this Parkland, FL tragedy and stifle any attempts at much needed gun regulation, starting with banning AR-15's

The gold medal goes to Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who not only has had a tough week in his home state because of his A+ NRA rating,.he's coming under more intense criticism from the Marjory Stoneman Douglas students and their parents who are calling BS on his constant attempts to spin for his NRA paymasters.

He also took to Twitter to attack the MSG students and parents mere hours after appearing at that CNN town hall as 'extremists who hold a position well outside the mainstream'

Naw boo boo itty, it is you who are holding 'a position well outside the mainstream because overwhelming numbers of people want sensible gun regulations.'     .

And for those of you in Florida and elsewhere hollering 'Fire Marco Rubio', y'all had a chance to do that in 2016 and failed to handle your business.  You're stuck with his NRA butt kissing behind until 2022

Shut Up Fool Awards- Winter Olympic Fools Edition

The 2018 Winter Games kicked off this morning at 5 AM CST, but NBC is waiting until prime time later tonight to broadcast the Opening Ceremonies from PyeongChang, South Korea. 

In case you're wondering, PyeongChang is only 60 miles from the DMZ    Competition is already underway in several events and the Olympics will continue until February 25

So in honor of the Winter Games, the Shut Up Fool Awards for the duration will be in a gold, silver and bronze level fools format until the Olympic flame is extinguished .

So let the Games begin and let the fools be called out.

Our Bronze medalist fool is Education (Mis)Secretary Betsy DeVos, who is whining because she doesn't like all the criticism she gets and it's hurting her feelings..

Well boo boo kitty, when you spent years trying to kill public education and bashing teachers unions, you are going to get major pushback and derision for that.

Our Silver medalist fool is FOX Noise VP John Moody, who published a hideously racist and homophobic op-ed stating that Team USA will lose medals because the team is too Black and too gay.

Your white hood is showing, John.    Some of those non white and gay peeps you're hating on are contenders for medals.

Our Gold medalist fool is Alex Jones.   He spent too much time taking hallucinogenic drugs before his latest InfoWars show and spit out the ridiculous claim that the transgender movement is 'paving the way for cyborgs to infiltrate and destroy our society.

Really fool?   Whatever drugs you're doing, you need to put them down.   Caprica Six is not coming for you or your intelligence deficient sheeple.

Well, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so that means we'll have six more weeks of winter weather, according to the superstition.   

But sadly one thing I know we'll have more than a six week supply of is fools, and I'm here to do my weekly duty of calling them out .

Honorable mention number four is Tomi Lahren for her problematic comments she aimed at Rep Joe Kennedy III. that Bigot Barbie later apologized for them

This week's Shut Up Fool winner is Rose McGowan for her anti-trans rant she unleashed at Andi Dier after she was questioned at her book signing event about some previous anti-trans statement.

Shut Up Fool Awards- I'm Not In DC For #CC18 Edition

The 30th Annual edition of the LGBTQ Task Force's Creating Change Conference is happening right now in Washington DC and guess where I am?    Not in the Marriott Wardman Park host hotel that's for sure.

This i the first Creating Change I've missed since I started this current run with #CC14 in Houston.  And yeah, I'm bummed out about it. 

So let me take out my frustration for not being at #CC18 on the cavalcade of fools we have desecrating our country . 

Honorable mention number one  is Sarah Suckabee Huckabee Sanders for just pick a lie

Honorable mention number two is Teddie Butcher.   The Alabama teacher is probably still mad that Roy Moore lost because she told a group of students who were listening to Tupac's  Dear Mama' song to  'turn that n****r music off.  

Hope this bigot Becky gets her teaching career turned off.

Honorable mention number three is  Chelsea Manning for trying to claim that 'she was on a spy mission when she fell into that white supremacist party. 

Yeah, tell that to the gullible Green Tea Party folks who think you're a hero.   Moni ain't buying those woof tickets you're selling

Honorable mention number four is Sean Hannity, who tried to slime Trump-Mueller report as 'fake news and failed spectacularly while doing so. 

This week's Male Chauvinist Pig er. Shut Up Fool winner is Courtland Sykes, who is running for the Republican US Senate nomination and made some disparaging remarks about women's rights and , feminists.

He topped it off with the comment he wants to 'come home to a cooked dinner every night.'

Wll, the only thing you're going to be coming home to is a TV dinner and a cold shower.

Sen. Claire McCaskill must be salivating about taking this fool on in a general election if he gets the GOP nomination.

Tomorrow will be the one year anniversary of the shameful moment in American history that we replaced the first Black president of the United States with an ignorant racist  buffoon

We're still here since Dear Orange Misleader hasn't triggered World War III yet, but still have to suffer through another two years of this misadministration.

Honorable mention number one is guess who?   Donald Trump for just pck an outrage.,

Honorable mention number two I go north of the border for to Canada.    The minimum wage in the province of Ontario went up to $14 on January 1, and Tim Hortons franchise owners Jason and Susan Holman reacted by cutting benefits to their employees, and when they complained, told them to blame Ontario premier Kathleen Wynne for it and 'not to vote Liberal' in June. 

For my TransGriot Canadian readers who live in Ontario, piss off the Holman's by voting Liberal 

Honorable mention number three is that two bit three block rapper Offset, who thinks he's all that because he's dating Cardi B's problematic azz.   He opened up his mouth to say he can't vibe with queers.

Dude, trust, none of them want to vibe with you either.

Honorable mention number four is Mat Blood, who is now 'ashamed' after being dared by friends to to do so, was videotaped shouting 'F*** N*****s! into a bullhorn with a Nazi flag draped over his shoulders.

Honorable mention number five is DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, for lying under oath during a congressional hearing and her Scandinavian descended azz trying to claim she didn't know if Norway was a predominately White country and t=Trump called Haiti and 54 African nations s***hole countries.

Honorable mention number six is the NY Times Editorial board, who is still trying to make excuses for their fellow white people racistly voting for Dear Orange Misleader

This week's Shut Up Fool winner is  Harley Barber,  who got her Trump voting behind expelled from her Alpha Phi sorority and the University of Alabama for posting a racist video on Martin Luther King Day, being Becky Badass and doubling down on the racism, and then when the hammer fell down on her, crying white women's tears about what she'd done.   

Maybe you'll get a job on FOX Noise and a full ride at Liberty University.

Shut Up Fool Awards- MLK Day Weekend Edition

Monday will be what would have been the 89th birthday of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.    This year the federal holiday to honor the Nobel Prize winning human rights advocate we lost far too soon also falls on his January 15 birthday

One of my favorite Dr. King quotes is this one:  'Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.'

That is why it gets called out every Friday on this blog.   It's also time for me to get busy and start calling it out.

Honorable mention number one is Rachel Campos-Duffy at FOX Noise.   While on the show Outnumbered she complained that people who leaked the Trump  s***hole comment 'make our country look bad'.   

It's called 'journalism'  A concept that is foreign to you network ..

Rachel,  that 'making our country look bad' battle was lost on November 9, 2016 and every miserable day that you and your propagandists at FOX Noise try to defend his racist behind.

Honorable mention number two is French actress Catherine Deneuve, who said that the #MeToo movement 'has gone too far'

Honorable mention number three is VP Mike Pence, who had dinner with a fundie evangelist who prayed for the death of Liberal SCOTUS justices 

And FYI, you know the last time you conservafools did that, you lost Antonin Scalia.

Honorable mention number four is a group award for all you fauxgressives screaming not even 24 after a well received Oprah speech during the Golden Globe Awards that 'she's not qualified to run for president.

Your anti-Blackness is showing on that one.    And FYI, after having an exceptional Black president in office from 2009-2017, y'all should be tired of disastrous white male Republican ones

First point I want to make is, it's NOT 2020 yet.   We haven't even got past the 2018 midterms.
Second, Oprah has declared she's running.  She's only thinking about it. 
Three,  The not qualified to run bar got lowered big time when you white peeps put the massively unqualified white man in office versus the supremely qualified for the office white woman.

Shut Up Fool Awards- First Fool Of 2018 Edition

New Year, same ongoing mission to call out the fool, fools or group of fools in our midst.

Now more than ever with the Trump Misadministration War on Facts raging, it's even more important to expose idiocy wherever and whenever it rears its ugly head.

So let's get to the business of gleefully calling out fools for the New Year.

Honorable mention number one is Donald Trump, for bragging on Twitter his nuke launch button was bigger than Kim Jong Un Fool's

Um dude. nuclear war is nothing to play with or joke about.

Honorable mention number two is FOX Noise.  The GOP propaganda channel is peddling racism once again by claiming that the DC grand jury that Mueller is working with is not fair and impartial because it has 11 African Americans on it.

Hmm, y'all would be saying jack if it had 11 white men on it.   And FYI, DC is 61% Black

Honorable mention number three is Sarah Huckabee Sanders.  The White House Minister of Propaganda was busted by Jake Tapper when he called her out for using the line 'people aren't entitled to your own facts.'

She's a disgrace to the position.

Honorable mention number four is Donald Trump, Jr for making the ridiculous claim that Ellen DeGeneres is running a shadow government to undermine his father.

Frankly Junior, Ellen would make a better POTUS than your dad has proven to be.


This week's first SUF winner for 2018 I'm staying in H-town for and it's Demetria Smith.

After failed campaigns for Houston city council in 2013 and Houston mayor in 2015, Smith is currently running for the Democratic  nomination for Texas governor.

She showed up Wednesday night at the January Houston GLBT Caucus meeting to seek their endorsement.   Never mind the fact she opposed HERO and dissed trans women to do so. 

Because there was a long line of candidates wishing to speak and who are vying for the coveted Houston GLBT Caucus endorsement, everyone was limited to one minute.  When her time was up, she tried to pull an Omarosa, acted a fool  and refused to give up the mic, then went home and posted videos on her FB page trying to claim 'the LGBTs are silencing me.' 

Naw boo boo kitty.  You didn't think the Houston TBLGQ community and this blogger would forget you were a HERO opponent?   And then you have the unmitigated gall to come up in our organizational space ask for the endorsement because you know it crucial to winning in Houston, in which 25% of the statewide vote total comes from, act an ass and then want to play the victim? 

Not on my watch Miss Thang.    And yeah, I have a long memory and receipts when it comes to people who attack my trans community that I am an unapologetic member of. 

Methinks you came into the Caucus meeting to start a scene and try to pursue the Ben Hall route to political defeat 

You are not 'protecting all Texas citizens rights' when you advocate for discrimination against TBLGQ Texans'

FYI:  peddling transphobia for political gain is not a successful road to political victory in Texas.   Ask former state reps Debbie Riddle and Gilbert Pena about that. 

Another FYI Demetria, there are a lot of parents of trans kids in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and other parts of the state who  won't appreciate your anti-trans dog whistle bathroom rhetoric either.   And they vote.

The TransGriot 2017 Shut Up Fool Of The Year Is...

It's that time again.   Time to discover out of all these folks nominated who will be named the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Of The Year for 2017.

But before I do that, let recap the previous winners of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool of the Year Award

There were many worthy nominees, and Trump more than did enough in his ongoing dumpster fire of a mispresidency to win the SUF of the Year for a third consecutive year. 

But I decided to give it to another deserving fool this year.

The five 2017 Shut Up Fool of the Year finalists I narrowed it down to were a group award for the Republican Party, Milo Yiannopoulos, Alex Jones, Kellyanne Conway and Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The 2017 Shut Up Fool of the Year is Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
Potty Dan Patrick wasted much of his political capital and Texas taxpayer dollars trying to foister an unjust anti-trans 'Bathroom bill' on the state that the Texas trans community, its allies, Texas reality based citizens, Texas police departments and police chief , the Texas business community, Texas oil companies, Texas colleges and universities, the mayors of Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin, and most importantly Speaker Joe Straus (R-San Antonio) and Chairman Byron Cook (R-Corsicana) of the House State Affairs Committee repeatedly told him they didn't want and was bad for Texas.

But Patrick and his henchwoman Sen. Lois /Locker Room' Kolkhorst (R-Brenham) tried to force this legislative cow chip through the 2017 regular legislative session and a special session he forced that cost the state's taxpayers an addition $800,000 only to fail twice to pass it.tanks to the adults in the Texas House.

Just talking about SB 6 passage cost the Houston, Dallas and Austin millions $66 million in lost convention business.  It cost Galveston, TX a conference, and put $200 million of business in jeopardy.

And why?   For Dan Patrick's personal political gain.

That anti-trans rhetoric he, Lois and his party peddled during the session to pass SB 6 led to four trans Texans being killed and others being harassed across the state.

And once it was clear it wasn't going to pass in the Special Oppression Session, Patrick blamed everybody but the person staring back in the mirror. 

There's an ever lengthening list of politicians who lost their seats or offices for peddling transphobia that includes TX Rep. Debbie Riddle, TX Rep Gilbert Pena, NC Gov. Pat McCrory, and now VA Delegate Bigot Bob Marshall.

Hopefully on November 6 you'll be the next legislative transphobe added to that not so distinguished list.
