Shut Up Fool Awards- Moni's At BTAC 2017 Edition

As you loyal TransGriot readers are already aware of, been here in Dallas for the sixth annual Black Trans Advocacy Conference.    I sit on the board of BTWI and act as its media chair, so this has basically been a working vacation turned pre birthday week celebration.

And I'm enjoying every minute of it seeing my BTAC fam from around the country and increasingly, the world.

Had to step into my room for a minute and handle my Shut Up Fool business, so this is going to be a quick one in which I just announce the winner.

This week's SUF winners are a group award for the Texas Southern University Board of Regents and TSU's president .
The HBCU based in Houston extended a head scratching invitation to speak at their upcoming May 13 convocation to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) which is not sitting well with students and faculty on campus.

Our senior US senator is a man that is hostile to our community policy wise, has an 'F' score on the NAACP Congressional Report Card, and claimed in 2015 that racial tensions are 'phony narratives'.

And you wonder why TSU's 2017 don't want him desecrating their campus.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Countdown To BTAC 2017 Edition

It's that time of year when I get to hang out for a week in Dallas at this year's edition of the Black Trans Advocacy Conference that runs from April 24-30.  It's a unique experience because it's one of the few that unapologetically focuses on the Black trans community with a family reunion feel.

That fun for me starts on Monday.    But today is Friday, and it's time to call out some fools for their usual shenanigans and idiocy.

So let's this this Shut Up Fool Awards party started

Let's just jump straight to this week's winner in Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III. our Confederate Attorney General who seems to have a problem with the concept of judicial review.  .

Sessions is 'amazed' that a judge in Hawaii can squash a presidential executive order.   But had Jee been paying attention to or even much less reading the Constitution, he wouldn't and shouldn't be surprised about that.

But he didn't have any problems with judicial review when it was working to shut down executive orders that POTUS 44 was writing.

Coretta was right.  You're not only not qualified to be a federal judge, you're unqualified to be Attorney General of the United States.

Shut Up Fool Awards- LGBTMedia17 Edition

As many of you TransGriot readers are aware of, I'm in Orlando for the 8th annual LGBT Media Journalists Convening.   We had a mixer last night, and now we are knee deep into our first day of sessions.

But since it's Friday, and I have y'all spoiled, it's  time for our weekly post in which I call out our fools, that are everywhere.

Honorable mention number one  the Trump administration for pick an outrage this week

Honorable mention number two is Neil Gorsuch for trying to cover up his far right conservative judicial rulings during his confirmation hearings with a fake aw shucks demeanor. 

Naw homes, we know you're a younger version of Scalia and unfit for the SCOTUS.

Honorable mention number three is the Republican Majority for trying and failing so far to replace the ACA and replace it with Trumpcare

Honorable mention number four is Steven Hotze.  This long time Houston area gaybaiter just put out a video recently urging Texas lawmakers to support SB 6.

Honorable mention number five is the National Organization for Marriage, who is mad that their hate bus got vandalized, and had the nerve to call it a 'hate crime'...

This week's Shut Up Fool winner is my former governor Rick Perry, who seems to be more concerned with a student government election on the Texas A&M campus than his job as Secretary of Energy.  

Secretary Goodhair is mad that the students at his alma mate elected an openly gay SGA president.

Gig 'em!   And dude, you have more important things to do than reading The Battalion and paying attention to A&M campus politics.

Shut Up Fool Awards- The Fools Of Texas Edition

I love my home state, but hate is Republican controlled government that seems cant go one day without embarrassing the Lone Star State without some Grade A stupidity, idiocy or WTF level arrogance.

So since we had a bumper crop of Texas based idiots this week, it's time to do a TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards with a Texas twang and barbecue some Lone Star fools.

Honorable mention number one goes to Sage Steele for opening her mouth and saying that racism would end if Black people stopped saying the n-word

Really fool?   Comments like that are why woke mixed race folks can't stand your behind and neither can those of us with TWO Black parents

Honorable mention number four is a group award for the Texas Senate Republicans 

Honorable mention number five goes to Sen. Eddie Lucio, Jr (DINO-Brownville) for being the lone Democrat to support SB 6.   Somebody in the Brownsville area please primary challenge his azz next year.

Honorable mention number six is Sen Joan Huffman (R-Lake Jackson) who got caught on a hot mic during the SB 6 Senate Affairs committee hearing calling Dr Colt Keo-Meier a 'pervert'.

Since you want to call people names.  Here we go.  You're  an ignorant bigot and a trans oppressor. .

This week's Shut Up Fool winner  goes to Sen. Lois Kolkhorst (R-Brenham) for uttern that she was a feminist and continuing to assert her SB6 bill is not discriminatory against the Texas trans community.

You can stop telling that lie because you had more than a few opportunities when amendments were offered to prove that SB 6 wasn't about discriminating and oppressing the trans community, and you turned down one amendment specifically exempting the trans community because you said 'it would 'gut the bill'

So naw Lois, you ain't fooling nobody.   And BTW, shut up fool! ...

Shut Up Fool Awards- March 10 Birthday Edition

Because of my nearly 20 years in the activist world I've gotten to know some amazing people.   One of the things I've also done is keep track of people's birthdays.   Thanks to Facebook, that job is infinitely easier.

Birthdays are the one day on the calendar that is totally yours and to me are important because it is the day you arrived on this planet to bless our lives in the many ways they do so.

It was also interesting to note that we have several of our amazing trans advocates and people spanning different decades born on this day like Laila Ireland, Janet Mock, Justina Williams, Ben Power, and Amailia Black  

There are some kick butt allies to our community born today like Chevara Orrin, ESPN's LZ Granderson and Rodney Nickens, Jr, who I met in 2011 when he was working for the National Black Justice Coalition.  I met Chevara and LZ during the 2012 OUT on the Hill.

So happy birthday to all of you!   Rodney and Amalia are celebrating milestone ones, and I'll let them say what milestone birthdays they are.

Since it's Friday and as Mr T famously said, fools are everywhere, I now need to segue into our usual business of calling out ignorance, idiocy, coonery and buffoonery and WTF level  arrogance.   Time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.


Honorable mention number one is a blanket award for the Trump misadministration.  Just pick an outrage.

Honorable mention number two is Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau who put her pumps in her mouth when she stated that we should think about the supportive men on a International Women's Day,

While I deeply appreciate those supportive men, International Women's Day is designated and specifically designed to celebrate the accomplishments of women across the planet.

Honorable mention number three is a joint award for the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texans.

Cleveland gets it for trading for Brock Osweiler, a 2018 second round draft pick and eating a $60 million cap hit for his contract.  The Texans get called out for signing his mediocre behind in free agency for that much a year ago.

Honorable mention number four is gay male William Busby and the lesbian TERF who testified in favor of passing SB 6.  

Once again these people prove the point that some of the transphobic idiots transkind has to fight also identify as gay or lesbian.

Honorable mention number five is LaPorsha Renae for 'choosing to be straight'.
Honorable mention number six is the kneegrow pastor from San Antonio and Natalie Johnson who let their transphobic selves shine during Tuesday's marathon SB 6 hearing.

Honorable mention number seven is a group award for Sen. Lois Kolkhorst (R) and every member of the TX Senate State Affairs Committee that either voted for SB 6 or enabled the outright lies  and transphobia that came out of their supporter's mouths.  

Honorable mention number eight  is Texas State Sen. Eddie Lucio, Jr (D) who interrupted Dr Colt Keo-Meier during his expert witness testimony against SB 6 to shadily say 'he didn't know discrimination', voted to advance the discriminatory Texas Transgender Oppression Act out of committee, and then got mad when he cot called on it by Latinx trans people after the hearing was done,

This week he earned the award by claiming that slaves were immigrants who carme here seeking opportunity and worked hard for less.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Let's Rodeo 2017 Edition

It's the first weekend of March, and that means it's time for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to kick off.   All the various trail rides converged on Houston today in time to camp out in Memorial park for tomorrow's rodeo parade.    The Rodeo Houston kickoff weekend also means that the World Championship BBQ contest is also going on over at NRG Park to see what BBQ cookoff tem will walk away with the grand prize.

But it's Friday, and that means it's also time to discover who gets the grand prize for stupidity, jaw dropping ignorance and WTF levels of hypocrisy.

Honorable mention number one if for the LugenPOTUS.   Just pick an outrage.

Honorable mention number two is a group award for every HBCU president that showed up for Trump's photo op, and then the Morehouse president basically saying what everybody in Black America knew in that you got played.

Honorable mention number three is Sec of Education Betsy DeVos, for stupidly saying HBCU's are 'pioneers in school choice'.

Betsy, Betsy Betsy.    You're not only clueless, you were asleep in history class at that private school when they covered the fact that HBCU's were founded because of Jim Crow segregation barring Black people from attending white institutions.

They were the only choice for over a century we had as a people to pursue higher education.

Honorable mention number four is Van Jones, for drinking the CNN pundit Kool Air and claiming that the speech made Trump 'look presidential'/

Dude, really?   Are you high?   Nothing will make that serial liar look presidential.

Honorable mention number five is Texas State Senator Don Huffines, who lost his cool when he got schooled by a group of Richardson ISD students about the GOP school choice scam ..

Honorable mention  number six is Franklin Graham, who got pissed off because Grack Slick donated royalties she made from Chick-Fil-A using her songs in a commercial to lambda Legal.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Messing With Texas Edition

The pressure is mounting for the Texas GOP majority to kick the unjust SB 6 to the curb, and they ain't liking the fact they are being called out on their transphobic bigotry.

The Texas business community, legislators with common sense, citizens and the NCAA, NFL and now the NBA have spoken about their opposition to the Texas Transgender Oppression Act .

Will the fools listen?

Nice segue into our usual Friday business of calling out the fools inside and outside of the Lone Star State and point out their rank hypocrisy, jaw dropping ignorance and what the frack level verbal statements

Honorable mention number one goes to  Donald Trump for just pick an outrage.

Honorable mention number two is Tom Brady, for hypocritically suggesting that his New England Patriot teammates who are planning to not show up at the Trump White House should 'put politics aside' and come.

Yeah, the same person that skipped the Patriots visit to the Obama White House for a bogus reason

Honorable mention number three is Carlos Santana who is not a singer, saying that Beyonce lost Album of the Year because ;she is not a singer',

The Beyhive is still pissed about that Grammy result, and turned on Santana.  After getting dragged by the Beyhive all over social media, he quickly changed his tune.

Honorable mention number four is Alex Jones, who said on his show in response to Jennifer Lopez;s Grammy speech that she should 'go get gang raped;.

Honorable mention number five is  Bill Maher, for inviting  Nazi racist Milo Yiannopoulos to his show and allowing his to spew racist rhetoric unchallenged.

Honorable mention number six is TX Gov. Greg Abbott who is mad because the NFL sent the warning shot that Texas will not get any more Super Bowls or NFL events if SB 6 is passed.

You and your GOP buds should work on fixing our broken foster care system and public school finance system instead of oppressing trans people.

This week's SUF winner is James Charles   Last year he became the male to get a Covergirl makeup spokesperson contract, and this week he tweeted something ugly by saying he was scared to go to Africa because it had Ebola.

What made this statement more ignorant and appalling was that he was going to the nation of South Africa which is one of the 54 counties on the African CONTINENT.

News flash:  As of January 14, 2016 the World Health Organization has stated that the African continent, which is the second largest and second most populous one on our planet, is now clear of Ebola.

He tried to at first defend it with the standard 'it's a joke' line, but he kept getting dragged on the Net by peeps who didn't see that as even remotely funny or a joke.  ,Calls have been coming forward for a boycott of CoverGirl if Charles isn't removed as a spokesperson

And yes, this is another example of gay folks and their casual racism and ignorance that needs to checked and called out.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Your Lips Are Moving Edition

I love Meghan Trainor's song Lips Are Moving, and ever since January 20 it runs in my head every time I see a spokesperson for this misadministration

And since it's Friday and I'm enroute to Dallas as you read this assuming my flight is boarding and leaving on time, let's get to this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

Honorable mention number one is a joint award for Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway for just being the lying wastes of DNA they are.

Honorable mention number two is Sen. Mitch McConnell for unleashing Senate Rule 19 during the Senate debate on the confirmation of Jeff Sessions and silencing Sen. Elizabeth Warren, but not say a peep about three white male Democratic senators who read the 1986 Coretta Scott King letter that Warren was trying to read from the Senate podium.

Honorable mention number three is Rep Sean Duffy (R-WI), who not only claimed white terrorist attacks were 'totally different' challenged CNN to come up with more than two instances in which white males have committed terror attacks on US soil.

Really, you fool?  You conservative white males have committed more terror attacks on US soil than than Al Qaeda.    And remember Oklahoma City?  The ATL Olympic Bombing?  Every mass shooting?    

Honorable mention number four is CNN's Chris Cuomo, for saying that 'fake news' is the n-word for journalists..

Naw homes. I'm a blogger that is considered a pretty good journalist, and only the n-word is the n-word.  Trump attacking the media doesn't even come close to equating the 400 years of ongoing oppression that Black people have suffered in this country all encompassed by that ugly word.

Honorable mention number five is Lt Governor Dan Patrick, for calling the Texas Rangers to look for Tom Brady's allegedly stolen jersey that may not be stolen after all,

Way to waste our tax dollars Dan.

Honorable mention number sixve is the so-called POTUS  for just pick an outrage.


This week's Shut Up Fool loser, er winner is Jill Stein.

In the wake of Betsy DeVos' confirmation, she opened her mouth and let something gobsmackingly stupid come out of it.  She was quoted as saying Democrats 'caved to corporate interests' when in reality based world we witnessed their entire caucus plus two Republicans voting to deny DeVos' nomination that VP Mike Pence was forced to break the tie.

Shut Up Jill.  You've done enough damage to this country by not only colluding with the Russians, but pulling enough votes from Hillary Clinton in critical battleground states to swing the election to Trump.

So sit you azz down and shut up fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards -Super Bowl LI Weekend Edition

This Sunday as many of you know, Super Bowl LI kicks off at NRG Stadium in my hometown.  It'll be the last one we have for a while if SB 6 gets passed.

In the runup to Super Bowl Weekend there have been multiple events happening like the NFL Experience over at the George R. Brown Convention Center., various parties around town that are either officially thrown by the NFL or others around town

But as usual, my eye is on the fools who are everywhere..  So let's get to this week's Shut Up Fool Awards, NFL style.

First down is Dear Cheeto Leader for this week's series of outrages and taking a vacation after a mere week on the POTUS job.

Second down is Omarosa, Ben Carson and every sellout kneegrow who was sitting in that WH room for that hideous and Black History free rambling done by Twitler

Third down   Sean 'Beltway Seam' Spicer, form the Ministry of Truth, er the WH Press Secretary, who makes Baghdad Bob from the Iraq War look like a paragon of truth telling for his latest week of outright Big Lie telling.

Fourth Down  Salma Hayek, for proving once again why Black women have a serious problem with white feminism.

This week's Shut Up Fool trophy winner is Kellyanne Conway, who in addition was doing her WH Crypt Keeper act lying for Trump, she misspoke lied during an MSNBC interview in defense of the indefensible Muslim ban about a terror attack in Bowling Green, KY that never happened.

Propaganda Barbie (and that's an insult to Barbie's everywhere) is deservedly getting laughed at and called out around the world for doing so.

Kellyanne is determined to get the 2017 Shut Up Fool of the Year Award she narrowly lost out on last year  and she's off to a great start.

Shut Up Fool Awards- First Friday The 13th Edition

This is the first of only two Friday the 13ths on the 2017 calendar with the next one happening in October.   But the date that is really going to be a scary nightmare is seven days from now at 12:01 PM EST.

Honorable mention number three is Uncle Ruckus in real life in Ben Carson, who partled his lips to say that TBLGQ Americas don't deserve 'extra rights'  

Naw you ignorant mofo, demanding that people respect you humanity and human rights is not 'extra rights', it's a constitutional imperative.

Honorable mention number six is to Steve Harvey for his bigoted comment about Asian men.  Some friends of mine are married to Asian men and are extremely happy and satisfied they have them as their life partners.

Honorable mention number seven to Matt Walsh for his racist The Blaze column  insinuating that Black youth aren't human.  That's mighty white wing of you considering you're descended from people who enslaved, sexually assaulted  and brutalized Africans for several centuries

This week's Shut Up Fool loser winner is Jeff Sessions.   During his confirmation testimony to become the next attorney general, he claimed he worked on civil rights cases on issues he has actively opposed and was called on it by Sen Al Franken,



He also whined ''it's hard to be a white southern senator' in response to a question by Sen. Lindsey Graham ,

Naw Senator, you have been a documented unrepentant bigot for much of your public service life, and now you're upset about being called a racist?   Coretta Scott King wouldn't have written that 1986 letter opposing your nomination to the federal bench with the words 'Jeff Sessions would irreparably damage the work of my husband, Martin Luther King Jr' if you weren't a racist.

If you didn't support the KKK and push racist policies, maybe that pointed hood wouldn't fit so well.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Last SUF Award Of 2016 Edition

In a little less than 36 hours we will be headed into a new year with a lot of mixed emotions.   This one has been 52 weeks of ups and downs, emotional highs and crashing lows.

And in every one of those 52 weeks we've had peeps showing us how stupid, idiotic or clueless they are.

Since this is the last week and last Friday of 2016, it's time to call out this week's crop of fools.

Honorable mention number one is every fool calling out Serena Williams for getting engaged to a white man.   She's more down for our peeps than some of you peeps calling her out.

Honorable mention number two is Donald Trump for just pick an outrage this week.

Honorable mention number three is the Year 2016 for taking so many of our legends away from us and since November 8 being a slow motion nightmare

Honorable mention number four is Kellyanne Conway for just lying every time her lips move.

Honorable mention number six is Don King and every other kneegrow visiting Trump Tower to coon it up for him.

You get this award on top of it.

Honorable mention number six is the Boy Scouts, for barring a trans masculine kid from joining.   That's why I'll be spending money every year on Girl Scout cookies because they are enlightened about letting trans kids join their ranks.

That reminds me, when it the next Girl Scout cookie drive starting?

Honorable mention number seven is Bristol Palin.    The spawn of Sarah opened her pretty lout and let some ugly comments  aimed at all the A list celebs who refuse to perform at Der Trumpenfuhrer's upcoming (yuck) inauguration.

Maybe he should have thought about that before he dissed Hollywood, the music biz and everyone who doesn't look like you.   Have several seats you chillbilly and enjoy that Kid Rock concert

This week's last Shut Up Fool for 2016 is Carl Paladino.   Last week he aimed racist and transphobic invectives against President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and this week after a firestorm of criticism he weakly tried  to justify it by claiming he only meant to send that racist crap to his friends while claiming 'he's not racist'

Yeah right fool, your pointed hood is showing..   Have a whole section of seats at Ralph Wilson Stadium and STFU

The Buffalo Board of Education voted 6-2 last night to give him 24 hours to resign his seat.   Wish y'all could have told his racist azz, 'You're fired' and kicked him to the curb..

But I will tell him this.  Carl Paladino, shut up racist and ignorant  fool.

Shut Up Fool Awards - Not So Happy Holidays Edition

Christmas comes in 48 hours, Hanukkah starts tomorrow and were less than 30 days from having the classy Obama administration replaced by the nekulturny Trump one.

Bah humbug.

I need to vent, so let;s get to this week's Shut Up Fool Awards to determine what fools deserve to have lumps of coal in their Christmas stockings .

Honorable mention number one is Donald Trump.  Just pick an outrage.

Honorable mention number two is Kellyanne Conway for being the lying you know what she's always been in this campaign, and has no parlayed that into a White House job.  Ugh.

Honorable mention number three is the Bernie Bros for peddling that tired 'Bernie Would Have Won' lie and being as facts averse as their Tea Klux Klan counterparts

Honorable mention number four is everyone who said nothing as a man was hauled off a Delta flight for speaking Arabic to his mother.

Honorable mention number five is the management of the  Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, who is forcing them to perform against their will at the upcoming inauguration of a man who is a sexist pig and thinks 'grabbing women by the p***y is appropriate behavior.

Honorable mention number six is Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, for pushing SB 6, the Transgender Oppression Act.

Honorable mention number seven is everyone who said nothing as a woman made racist comments aimed at two Latinx women at Jefferson Mall in Louisville.

Honorable mention number eight is Carl Paladino, who lets some racist and transmisogynist comments aimed at the President and First Lady fly and gets justifiably called out  for it by Gov Cuomo and a long list of New York peeps.

This week's shut up fool loser is a joint ward for the North Carolina GOP, Gov-elect Roy Cooper  and the Charlotte City Council.

The Charlotte City Council gets called out for allowing themselves to be hoodwinked and bamboozled into throwing the human rights of trans citizens of Charlotte under the bus and repealing their  non discrimination ordinances in a surprise meeting earlier this week as part of a 'deal' in which the NOGOP controlled legislature would repeal  the unjust HB2  once they killed their NDO.

They were stupid enough to trust a NCGOP that suppresses voters, brags about it, dragged out the governor's election for over a month, and has no problem lying through their teeth.

And y'all trusted them to keep their word on repealing HB2?   Even Stevie Wonder could see that this was a trap.

Shut Up Fool Awards- 9 Days Until Christmas Edition

We are getting inexorably closer to Christmas Day, and it's shaping up to be a bittersweet holiday season for a lot of us who didn't want that oompa loompa in the White House.

I'll have time to talk about that later, but in the interim, going to try to at least enjoy the 2016 holiday season with the people that I love and care about inside and outside the community.

Shut Up Fool Awards- First Friday Of December Edition

It's the first Friday of the last month of the year, and that means we're less than 30 days from starting 2017.   While Christmas Day is circled on many people's calendars, so is December 19, the day the electors meet in state capitols across the country and execute the final act of the 2016 election cycle.

Honorable mention number one is Tomi Lahren, who shows that she's still clueless about a lot of subjects in this Daily Show interview.

Honorable mention number two is Scarlett Johansson, who called for people to keep pushing for diversity in Hollywood while getting paid for whitewashing a Japanese cyborg cop in the big screen adaptation of the anime classic Ghost In The Shell.

Can you say hypocrisy people?

Honorable mention number four is Aym Icon, the CEO of Transcendence Icon Company for this problematic comment about Jackson family patriarch Joe Jackson

Honorable mention number five is North Carolina's one term governor Pat McCrory, who in the wake of losing on November 8 is acting like Gollom from the Lord of the Rings in terms of giving up the governor's chair.

Hey Pat, your transphobic azz lost.  The majority of NC citizens fired your behind.  Get over it and vacate the governor's chair.

This week's shut up fool  loser is Kellyanne Conway.

She's still bitter that her boy is not only reviled by 63 million Americans and counting, she's still deliberately forgetting that he's not only supported by white supremacists, they used racism to get Trump elected and he appointed one as his White House advisor

So she can attempt to spin that all she wants, those of us who watched that campaign and are grounded in reality know better.

Yeah yeah, you won.   But you did so by stoking racism, and you'll go down in history for that.   I'm not forgetting or forgiving that you and your campaign team stoked hatred of non white Americans in order to get your candidate elected, and there's no coming back or normalizing that with me, non white Americans and Clinton supporters.

It's also why we're not going to get over November 8 ,2016 and why a majority of Americans aren't looking forward to January 20.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Post Turkey Day 2016 Edition

It's the day after Thanksgiving, and if you're reading this, I take it you're not battling the traffic trying to get to the malls or retail outlets for the post holiday sales.

Or you're simply waiting to do your shopping online from the comfort of your couch.

Anyway, it's the day after Turkey Day and hope you didn't have a side helping of drama and shade while eating your holiday meal.

It's time to carve up some more jive turkeys and call out this week's group of fools

Honorable mention number one is every media pundit trying to legitimize the so called 'alt-right'.   They are white supremacists.  Get it right and stop using Orwellian language to sanitize these hateful idiots .

Honorable mention number two is June Pridmore, who obviously wasn't paying attention after two women who made racist comments about the current First Family lost their jobs.   She lost her Regions Bank VP gig after doing so.    I can't help but notice all these white women trying to call the FLOTUS 'ugly' wouldn't exactly make it to the top 15 semifinalists of any beauty pageant.

Well, maybe now that she's on the job market, she can apply for one in the upcoming Trump Administration she loves so much.

Honorable mention number three is Congressman Sean Duffy (R-WI) who seems to have a vanillacentric blind spot that leads him to believe that white supremacists and civil rights protestors are the same.

Naw dude,  White supremacists are the same as your party and the conservative movement.

Honorable mention number four is Kellyane Conway, for being Karl Rove in drag as Trump's spokesmodel.

Honorable mention number five is Donald Trump for laughingly calling for healing in his Thanksgiving message after he spent over a year demonizing non-white Americans

Naw fool, you get as much respect from me as you gave President Obama.   None.

And there isn't no building trust when you have insulted much of the electorate who didn't want your unqualified azz in the anywhere near the Oval Office.

Honorable mention number six is any person who says we should give Trump a chance after he has nominated white supremacists and anti-TBLGQ peeps for cabinet positions.

Honorable mention number seven is Tila Tequila  AKA Thien Thanh Thi Nguyen, whose azz was doing Nazi salutes with the white boys goose stepping in celebration in DC of Trump's 'win'.

Shut Up Fool Awards -Trans Awareness Week Edition

It's Trans Awareness Week and I'm enroute to Tuscon as you read this to speak at their TDOR that will happen on the University of Arizona campus on Sunday.

I'm still chuckling about the fact I will be flying on this first leg to San Diego, which means I'll be passing over Tucson before I get to San Diego to fly back in the direction of Tucson.

The reason for this latest trip is to speak at the SAGA sponsored TDOR that will take place on the University of Arizona campus on Sunday evening from 5:30-8:30 PM  on the Uof A campus.

And yes since this is Friday, it's time for this week's edition of the Shut Up Fool Awards

Let me just get to this week's fool since I'm traveling, and it's Omarosa Manigault

Omarosa parted her lips to say in an ESSENCE.com interview that she got involved with the Trump campaign in order to help the Black communty.  She whined about the fact she lost friends because of that decision.

Naw you sellout, you were only helping yourself, not our community.  It's even more odious to our community because you worked in the Clinton White House.

When you align yourself with a Klan endorsed bigot who said hateful and racist things about our community during his campaign, and has a long ugly racist history before he ran for POTUS, you shouldn't be surprised when woke people cut your sellout azz out of their lives.

Shut Up Fool Awards- #NotMyPresident Edition

Still pissed off and angry about Tuesday's election results and the revolting spectacle of witnessing a repeat of 2000.   Trump will be inaugurated POTUS on January 20, and I'm not looking forward to seeing that unqualified fool in the Oval Office for the next four years.

Yuck.  I'm still disgusted I even have to type the words 'president-elect Trump'   Sorry world, we non-white and progressive Americans who knew the danger tried to keep this from happening.

Anyway, the work begins to try to contain the fallout from this disastrous election and make Trump's last day in office January 20, 2021.

Let's get to this week's Shut Up Fool Awards

Honorable mention number one is everyone in the media who enabled this fool, and are now shocked the racist misogynist won.

Honorable mention number two is 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, who after taking a principled stand in refusing to stand for the national anthem. undercut his message by NOT voting on Tuesday.

Honorable mention number three is all you educated white women who voted for Trump.   Guess you race and white privilege matters more than solidarity with non white women, huh?

Honorable mention number four is all the gay white men who voted for Trump.   You fools voted for your own oppression and are about to find out your whiteness will not protect you from having your rights, including marriage equality rolled back.

The Shut Up Fool Award winners this week are everyone who voted third party in swing states, and are now ignorantly trying to clam that your votes for Stein or Johnson didn't affect the election.

Bull feces.  Don't even try to tell that lie in an attempt to absolve yourselves from your responsibility in enabling a racist endorsed by the Klan to become POTUS.   You are clearly delusional if you are trying to claim that.  

If you voted third party, you voted for Trump, and no amount of excuse making will change that fact, especially since Hillary won the popular vote.  

You knew the stakes.  Those of us who went through the contention 2000 race tried to warn you not to do it.  But in you vanillacentric privileged arrogance you did so anyway, and now you are shocked and angry about the result and want to protest.

The time to protest was on Tuesday November 8 from 7 AM-7 PM local time at your local polling places.  So have several seats and miss me with whatever excuse du jour you come up with trying to justify your misguided Stein/Johnson vote.  You own this mess of a looming Trump presidency just as much as all the white people who gleefully cast votes and enabled the Klan endorsed candidate to win.

So to everyone who voted third party Tuesday in swing states and are now trying to riverdance away from it, shut up fools.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Fall Back 2016 Edition

Daylight Savings Time ends in the US at 2 AM on Sunday.

So TransGriot readers, before you go out to party or go to bed, you may wish to move your clocks back one hour before you do so.   If you're a Republican, you've already set your clocks back 100 years, so you're good.

Moving on.. It's Friday, so it's time for me to handle my TransGriot business and choose this week's fool, fools or group of fools to call our in this week's edition of the Shut Up Fool Awards.

Let's get started calling people out shall we?

Honorable mention number one is Melania Trump.    In her first campaign speech since the disastrous plagiarized RNC one, not only claimed that she would take up cyberbullying as a cause if she became First Lady, she's now been busted a second time for plagiarizing another speech, this time from Donald's ex Marla Maples.

Girlfriend, It's also the height of hypocrisy for you to decry cyberbullying when your hubby is the king of the cyberbullies.  You also need some new speechwriters that can come up with some original material.

Honorable mention number two is long time Houston LGBTQ hater Steven Hotze, who remixed some old Pat Robertson hatred and claimed that gay people were termites eating away at America's foundation.

Dude, why don't you just come out already?  We long time Houstonians haven't forgotten about your back in the day DWI bust on Picnic Lane in Memorial Park a

Honorable mention number three is Kellyanne Conway, for continuing to lie for Trump.

Honorable mention number four is Lil Wayne, who claimed in an ABC Nightline interview that the Black Lives Matter movement had nothing to do with him and dissed it,  then apologized after the backlash hit his azz.

Honorable mention number five  is the North Carolina GOP, who filed a complaint against the Charlotte Observer in a failed attempt to stop a forum discussing the unjust Hate Bill 2.

Hey, y'all were proud to pass HB 2 in 18 hours a few months ago, so why y'all trying to run away from it now?  .

Honorable mention number six  is a group award for the Country Music Awards and their racist fans, who after Beyonce appeared on the CMA Awards stage Wednesday night with her fellow Texans the Dixie Chicks removed all mention of the performance from their website.

Um CMA people, guess y'all forgot the CMA's were telecast and pics of that joint performance are all over the Net and entertainment media.. .     .  

As for  your racist fans and your attempted erasure of Queen Bey, the Beyhive will be coming for you shortly.

Honorable mention number seven is Shaquille O'Neal, who said in an Esquire interview that when he gets stopped by the po-po, he's not worried because he'shows respect'/

Really?  There are peeps who are dead now because they 'showed respect' to killer KKKops.  It doesn't matter to a white cop who hates you if you're showing respect to them or not in a encounter with them it they harbor anti-Black attitudes.

You do TV commercials, are an NBA analyst and a seven foot tall Hall of Fame athlete.   So pick an NBA arena, have several sections of seats and shut the hell up with that noise

Honorable mention number eight is Texas agriculture commissioner Sid Miller, who posted a misogynist tweet aimed at Hillary Clinton with the c-word in it, then tried to claim it was a staffer's fault, then tried to claim their Twitter feed had been hacked.

Hmm.  Another Republican office holder we need to vote out of office in 2018.

This week's Shut Up Fool winner is FBI Director James Comey.  He leaked information over the weekend about e-mails in a sexting investigation of Anthony Weiner that Trump seized on and used in his campaign stump speeches.  

He did so against the advice of his boss Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and now is concerned that he 'politicized the FBI before the most crucial presidential election since 1860'.

Fortunately much of the country has already voted, and what yo did was piss off Hillary supporters and motivate them to go to the polls and handle their electoral business.

Really  you Republifool?   Now you're concerned about politicizing the FBI?  Should have thought about that before you released info about an investigation that isn't even connected to Hillary Clinton.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Moni's In Boston Edition

As you TransGriot readers are aware of, I'm on the Harvard University campus to receive another award later tonight.

It's the Robert Coles Call of Service Award that has been given by the Phillips Brooks House Association for now ten years to an illustrious list of people that include Marian Wright Edelman (2007),  Vice President Al Gore (2008) .current Secretary of Education Arne Duncan (2011) and last year BLM co-founder Alicia Garza.

Discovered I'm the first transgender person ever to receive this award, so I'm in some amazing company.  Also heightened the anxiety i have surrounding this speech tonight.

Also wanted to thank my hosts Maria Dominguez Gray, Shaquanda Brown, David dance, Robert Bridgeman  Jalem Towler and all the amazing students who are part of the Phillips Brooks House Association and its student led and run programs.   What's more impressive is that they are participating in these various programs and wrapping it around their Harvard class schedules.

Well, let's just announce this week's winner since my time is tight and I have another event and an alumni reception to attend before the award ceremony later tonight .

It's Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL), who I used to consider a reasonable Republican until he let a racist comment fly during his recent debate with Rep. Tammy Duckworth.

The Kirk comment also revived the anger in LGBT World about the Human Rights Campaign's controversial shades of D'Amato endorsement of Kirk over Duckworth, who had a higher HRC Congressional rating score than Krk did and whose election will help flip the Senate to Democratic control and put us a step closer to passing the Equality Act.  .

She's spanking that behind in Illinois anyway, and Kirk's racist comment probably sealed it.  We'll find out for sure on November 8.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Black Panther 50th Anniversary Weekend Edition.

The Black Panther Party For Self Defense was formed 50 years ago in Oakland, CA on October 15, 1966.  What was one of the motivating factors for their founding?   Being fed up with oppressive police tactics in our neighborhoods.  

Despite what COInTELPRO and conservatives try to tell you about the BPP, they were popular and grew rapidly in Black neighborhoods because they had a coherent political message combined with social programs like the free breakfast, free medial care clinics, and an emergency response ambulance program just for starters.  

They were even ahead of the curve on women's rights and gay rights, as this August 1970 speech from Huey P. Newton demonstrates.

The reason I'm bringing up the BPP is because this weekend in Oakland  the founding and the legacy of the Panthers is being celebrated  from October 20-23 at various locations with the theme of 'Where Do We Go From Here?'

All Power To The People!   And now, let's get to our usual Friday business of calling out the fool, fools or group of fools who made the cut for this week's TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

Honorable mention number one is to Donald Trump for just pick a reprehensible comment or lie.

Honorable mention number two is to Dr Elizabeth Dunham the DoD official who overruled principal Mary Salerno  at the US run Ramstein Intermediate School on the Ramstein Air Base and barred a trans teen who is the child of a military officer from using the female restrooms.

Honorable mention number three is Pat Buchanan.  UnKKKle Pat tried to claim in a recent column that the system is rigged against white men.

Really?  In what delusional world?   Donald Trump's presidential campaign is Exhibit A it isn't.

Honorable mention number four is the Rocky Horror remake star Richard O'Brien, who opened his loud and wrong mouth by stating trans women can't be women.

Oh really?  You're neither trans, a woman, or someone who has an PhD in gender issues, so you have zero credibility to speak on the topic of transsexuality.

And once again, the humanity of trans people is not subject to debate or discussion.

Honorable mention number five is Rep. Bruce Babin (R-TX) who doubled down on Trump's 'nasty woman' debate comment by stating 'a lady need to be told when she's being nasty'.

And sometimes, Rep Babin, a Republican needs to be told when they are being a misogynist sexist idiot.

This week's SUF winner is also a Texan in my reprehensible  Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, for trying to rebrand his discriminatory HB2 style Texas Transgender Oppression Act  as a 'women's privacy act'

Naw dude, you ain't fooling nobody with that crap, and I and my Texas trans fam and our allies will do everything in our power to kill it.

And I can't wait to vote you out of office in 2018.
