I'm in the Dallas 'burbs for my fourth consecutive Black Trans Advocacy Conference. Got my sweat equity shift at the registration desk done yesterday, presented my panel on Wednesday, and was part of the Black Trans Community Summit on Wednesday as well.
I'm thoroughly enjoying myself at what I call my extended birthday celebrating because this conference falls so close to my May 4 birthday.
Been pleased to not only see old friends like Dora and Yusuf who met at BTAC and are celebrating their first anniversary together, I'm happy to see that we have a lot of first time attendees from around the country, along with a trans bother from Jamaica at #BTAC2016.
I hope the neophyte attendees are also enjoying this event as much as I am.
When we reconvene for #BTAC2017, I challenge Houston`s Black trans men to show up, participate and hang out with their national and international trans family. This conference is just a four hour drive up I-45 from us and I and your Houston trans sisters would love to see more of you stepping up and representing H-town's trans masculine community. It can't be just Houston's Black trans women alone representing our city and all Black trans peeps inside Beltway 8.
Now that I'm off my BTAC soapbox, let's get to the usual Friday business at hand of calling fools out..
Since I have a long list of fools and some BTAC business to handle, will just select one fool this week and not post the long nomination list of (dis) honorable mention contenders for our weekly SUF title..
This week's Shut Up Fool Award goes to one of my home grown fools in Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (R) Despite the fact that North Carolina has been getting major negative international blowback for the unjust anti human rights Hate Bill 2 they hastily passed to stick it to the city of Charlotte and the trans community, Patrick announced in a Wednesday press conference he would support bringing that idiocy to the Lone Star State
Really? What crystal meth have you been smoking? Not no but hell no! No GOP sponsored ALEC hate in my home state. Sick of you white male Teapublicans wanting to oppress people.
Today would normally be the deadline day for turning in your tax return forms to the IRS, but you have extended time to do so until the 18th. It's also the GLSEN Day of Silence as noted in an earlier TransGriot post. .
But today is also the day in 1947 that Jackie Robinson broke into the major leagues with the Brooklyn Dodgers and broke baseball's color line. Some historians consider it to be the second most import day in the history of the African-American Civil Rights Movement.
It was on his day Robinson opened the door for other non-white baseball players to follow in his spikes when he stepped on that Ebbets Field baseball diamond to begin a national league Rookie of the Year season.. A huge debt is owed to him for taking the racist abuse he did for future pro baseball players to be able to play without much of the unnecessary drama he endured.
Now that I've commented on this historic day, now let's get to what y'all normally surf the Web for to find out on this day. You wanna know what fools, fools or group of fools struck out in the common sense department, ran afoul (pun intended) of the double play of ignorance and stupidity, and hit a home run of hypocrisy.
Time for this week's Shut Up Fool Awards.
I'm just cutting straight to the one that jumped out at me this week afer an avalanche of idits to numerous to wade through just to whittle it down to three honorable mention candidates.
This week's Shut Up Fool winner is North Carolina governor Pat McCrory (R).
After enduring a PR tsunami for blitzing the unjust HB 2 through the North Carolina General Assembly, seeing the deleterious effect on his state's economy, saying their would be 'no economic consequences' for passing it, and blaming the Democrats for their phuck up, he then signs a meaningless executive order as a PR band-Air to 'fix the problems of the unjust law' and called for a dialogue on HB 2?
"What we need is dialogue, instead of threats. [...] I see at the national level with presidential politics, I see even with this issue with the threats and the letters and the boycotts—I don't see conversation. I don't even see people reading things before they threaten to boycott. Why don't we have a conversation?"
Really Governor? The rest of North Carolina and the world is not as stupid as your base. The time to talk about HB 2 was when you North Carolina conservafools were trying to pass it over the objections of every sane person in the Tarheel State. But y'all didn't want dialogue then, you wanted a monologue and to stick it to Charlotte for passing a civil rights law that covered all its citizens.
Now that what everyone said would happen is coming to pass, you're trying to save yours and your party's political posteriors and your endangered political careers. All you had to do was not pass that unjust bill, but you couldn't resist the temptation to be a GOP oppressor and put yourself in the history books with other oppressive anti-civil rights Southern governors like Orville Faubus, Ross Barnett. and George Wallace.
And you have no one to blame for you predicament than yourself.
Seems like the GOP has lost their collective minds. They are careening toward what is going to be an interesting convention for their presidential nomination, have two candidates universally hated by not only their own party but much of the populace, and one hanging around with no shot at winning it.
Their candidates around the country are saying so much stupid and WTF commentary it's hard for me to keep up with at times, and they are gleefully embracing their oppressor gene in the states they control by using fear of trans people to attack the human rights of everyone.
It's Friday, and it's time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.
Honorable mention number one is Bill Clinton, who forgot the first rule of a surrogate is to promote the candidate you are speaking for and not get bent out of shape because you got hit with protest over some bad policies pushed during your presidency.
Honorable mention number two is NC governor Pat McCrory (R), who is trying to claim that there has been no economic backlash against his state for passing the unjust HB2 while 13 organizations so far have canceled plans to have conventions in the state, PayPal canceled plans for an expansion that would have added 400 jobs, and now Bruce Springsteen has just canceled a scheduled concert in Greensboro.
How much more money do you need to lose in order to get the message that transphobic bigotry is bad for business?
Honorable mention number three is Ray Lewis, who parted his lips to let out the asinine comment that slavery was about togetherness while attacking Black Lives Matter.
Yeah right,.we were together in the slave castles, chained together on that luxurious free boat ride, at the slave auction block and in the cotton fields.
You need to be slapped by the ancestors for even saying something that clueless.
Honorable mention number four is Florida governor Rick Scott (R), who launched a personal attack video against a woman who called his azz out in a Starbucks
This week's SUF winner is..Bernie Sanders. He couldn't explain to the NY Times editorial board in a disastrous interview how he would accomplish the signature issue of his campaign and break up the big banks, attacked Hillary Clinton for something she didn't say and called the most qualified candidate for the presidency since John Quincy Adams 'unqualified for the presidency' in a Philly event, and then had to walk it back when the negative reaction to his jump the shark moment came fast and furously..
With every passing day, this DINO is proving himself to be the unqualified one for the office of POTUS, and much less our party's nomination...
It's April Fool's Day, and fortunately for y'all coudln't settle on this year's April Fool's Day TransGriot spoof post in time to spring it on y'all by midnight CDT because I've had a few things on my writing plate that have had my attention.
But we've had an avalanche of fools speaking and saying WTF stuff ever since this year dawned three months ago, and I've been gleefully calling them out every Friday.
Let's go straight to the this week's winner, shall we?
This week's loser, er winner is Susan Sarandon. She earned it for the MSNBC All In interview with Chris Hayes and her clueless commentary that a Republican needs to get elected to bring about the so-called political revolution Bernie Sanders has been talking about.
Are you kidding me? That comment from you is not only majorly problematic, but is off the charts stupid in an election cycle in which there are four potential SCOTUS seats opening up plus 86 unfilled federal judiciary seats. We also have the possibility of regaining the senate by flipping four Senate seats, and a longshot chance with the flipping of 30 seats of retaking the House.
We need all liberal progressive hands on deck at the ballot boxes across the country on November 8 to make that happen, not another situation because the Democratic nominee isn't ideologically pure enough for some of you sitting at home on that date petulantly pouting.
I remember what happened when you and other Nader supporters in 2000 took enough votes away from Al Gore to make the election close enough for GW Bush to steal and we all know how that disastrous eight year mispresidency turned out.
So your suggestion that a jacked up GOP presidency will bring about Bernie's 'revolution' is not only flawed, it's off the charts delusional. And as part of a minority group being legislatively attacked by the Republican Party, the last thing I want or need to see is them trying to pass these anti-trans attack laws at the federal level and a President trump (or Cruz or Kasich) signing them..
It's also the height of vanillacentric privileged arrogance to push that position because you're pissed off your candidate is miserably failing in his attempt to hijack the Democratic Party nomination and Democrats like myself are #NotFeelingTheBern and are supporting the longtime Democrat in Hillary Clinton for our party's nomination.
It`s Holy Week, the runup to Easter Sunday, the holiest day in Christianity. .
But this year it`s more like Hate Week than Holy Week will all the unjust legislation either being passed or proposed by so called GOP`Christians`. The GOP presidential candidates are gleefully throwing shade at each other about their wives, and the Republican are doing their usual hate on President Obama shtick in the wake of his historic visit to Cuba.
This Good Friday is anything but good this year.
It`s also Friday, so that means I get to call out some fools today. Let`s get started shall we?
For Honorable mention number one we go north of the border to as my homegirl Renee Martin calls it, `that wretched province`. Faux `christian` MA Weible gets the nod for writing a transphobic rap song that is not going number one with a bullet except in the conservative hate ranks.
Honorable mention number two is Clay Aiken, who unleashed a tweet that cluelessly stated that his loss in his 2014 US House race was more of a problem than the the unjust HB2 passed and signed by his governor.
Really fool?
Honorable mention number three is a joint one for Ted Cruz and Donald Trump for attacking each other`s wives on the GOP presidential campaign trail.
Honorable mention number four is for every Log Cabin Republican trying to ludicrously say there is no difference between the two parties in the wake of the tsunami of condemnation justifiably coming down on the GOP in the wake of the HB2 passage in North Carolina
Honorable mention number five is another group award for the 11 North Carolina Dixiecrats who sold out their constituents and voted for HB 2
Reps. Larry Bell, William Brisson, Elmer Floyd, Ken Goodman, Charles Graham, George Graham, Ed Hanes, Garland Pierce, Robert Reives, Michael Wray names will live in human rights infamy, and all need to be primary challenged and ousted from office.
Honorable mention number six is Nebraska state senator Bill Kintner (R) who suggested that LGBT Nebraskans leave the state if they want human rights coverage.
Naw fool, maybe you need to leave office with a phucked up attitude like that. Hope Nebraska LGBT voters expedite your legislative retirement on November 8.
Honorable mention number seven is George Will, who worries that Donald Trump will turn the GOP into a party of white people.
Really George? Too late now. Should have been worried about that prospect in 1970. It is now and has been since the Dixiecrats left the Democratic party for the GOP a party of white people, and your party has made it clear no non-whites are welcome in your vanillacentric privileged tent...
This week`s SUF winners is a joint award for the GOP controlled NC General Assembly and Gov Pat McCrory (R) who blitzed the unjust and unconstitutional HB2 through the legislature that McCrory signed.
McCrory keeps reciting the usual BS trying to justify taking away human rights coverage for LGBT North Carolina citizens, but nobody's buying the woof tickets he's selling.
North Carolina based corporations, Duke University, the NAACP, SONG and a growing list of people and organizations ave brought an avalanche of criticism down upon the state.
As for economic boycotts.remains to be seen what happens next.
This gubernatorial fool needs to just shut up already.
At this moment if my flight left Hobby on time I should be descending toward final approach to Thurgood Marshall -BWI airport and my rendezvous with my media friends from 16 states and the District of Columbia for the LGBT Media Journalists Convening.
And yes, I'm quite aware of what today is. It's Friday, and it's the day y'all eagerly surf over here to have me call some fool or group of fools out for all the ignorant, foul, or WTF worthy stuff that went on this week.
It's time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.
Honorable mention number one is Donald Trump for the ongoing lies he continues to tell as he rolls to the GOP presidential nomination.
Honorable mention number two is Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) In reaction to President Obama calling him out during SXSW, once again he's trying to peddle the laughable lie that voter fraud is rampant in Texas when it actually isn't and the only reason the TX GOP passed that unconstitutional law was to suppress the votes of the non-white Texans who outnumber them..
Honorable mention number five the half term chillbilly Alaska governor herself in Sarah Palin who during a campaign stop for Donald Chump spouted her loud and wrong opinion about the proesters who shut down the Trump Chicago rally.
Hey, don't you have an injured husband to attend to?
Really? I swear, the GOP 'wimmin' are worse than their 'menz' at times.
This week's Shut Up Fool loser winner is Kevin Swanson, the virulently anti-TBLG hate pastor who not only has endorsed Ted Cruz, and called for our genocide, but has hated on Harry Potter and the movies How To train Your Dragon and Frozen.
Now he's taken the Conservafool War on The Girl Scouts to another level and called for Girl Scout leaders to be put to death.
Okay, when you are openly calling for people to be put to death, you need to be put in check.
Believe it or not, it's that time to move those clocks up one hour on March 13. At 2 AM you'll need to moe those clocks up, otherwise you'll be an hour early for everything you do on Sunday.
So keep the time change in mind if you're going out on Saturday night, because when the club clses, you will have already lost an hour of sllep before you get home.
It's now time to segue into our usual Friday business in this week's Shut Up Fool Awards, so let's not waste time and get right to calling fools out.
Honorable mention number one is Lil' Scrappy, who let loose with a transphobic rant that even his mama called his azz out on. Now it's my turn.
Naw you ignorant transphobic azz, I nor any trans woman is not obligated to post our baby pics on our Facebook pages, and neither are we in you less than eloquent words 'men with wigs on'. What, you mad because a trans woman turned your down for a date?
Bttom line it is hate speech like yours that fuels the anti-trans attitudes in the Black community that lead to us being assaulted or murdered., and we will not tolerate that shyt..
Honorable mention number two is Lisa Ling, for letting loose a problematic comment aimed at Caitlyn Jenner. While she is on my caca list for the long list of problematic statements and comments that she deserves to be called out for, still doesn't give you cis women a free pass at throwing transphobic shade at her.
Call Caitlyn out for the jacked up comments, not her trans status.
Honorable mention number three is Sen John Cornyn (R-TX), who threatened at CPAC to ruin the career of anyone who accepted a SCOTUS nomination from President Obama. I don't know who I hate more representing my state in the Senate between him or Ted Cruz.
2020 can't get here fast enough.
Honorable mention number four is Guy Benson, the conservagay who also put his foot in his mouth during a CPAC panel and said that gays should be more tolerant of discrimination aimed at them by their right wing haters.
Still trying desperately to get that lost white privilege back, huh Guy?
Honorable mention number five is Ted Cruz, who opened his mouth on the campaign trail and said that gays are 'waging a jihad against Christians'.
Um Ted, shut the phuck up and stop projecting. The jihad is only going one way, and your lying dominionist azz knows it.. Once again people, do NOT elect this Canadian for the GOP nomination.
This week's Shut Up Fool Award winning loser winner is the still unidentified Greene County, GA teacher who told Shaniyia Hunter in front of her high school class in December that she was 'dumb' and her purpose was to 'have sex and have children' because in his estimation she would never be smart..
Obviously this fool failed to read the mission statement of the Greene County School System. which states. 'The mission of the Greene County School System is to educate, inspire, challenge and support students to be productive citizens prepared to compete globally.'
This waste of DNA failed to do that for Shaniyia and Lord knows how many other kids who had the misfortune of being in his class.
This is why any Black parents are homeschooling their kids nowadays. And why is this fool not being identified? He needs to be outed for saying something that foul to a child and drummed out of the teaching profession.
We're now into the first week of March, and what that means is we're about to start our annual national obsession with college basketball and the NCAA tournament. This year the NCAA Men's Final Four will be played at NRG Stadium here in H-town on April 2-4, and the NCAA Women's Final Four will take place in Indianapolis April 3-5.
The conference tournaments will be kicking off this weekend and next for the power conferences to settle what teams get their respective conferences automatic tournament bids, with the rest of the tournament field being revealed on the nationally televised tournament selection shows for the men's and women's tournaments o see what teams riding the bubble got in and who didn't..
And yes, I'll be joining in the national Bracketology madness as I reveal my NCAA men's and women's tournament brackets
Speaking of March Madness, let's segue into my usual Friday business of calling out our assorted fools for their championship levels of arrogance and WTF mind blowing ignorance.
It's time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.
Honorable mention number one goes to the still unnamed 43 year old ammosexualwho was taking selfies with his gun in Skagit County, Washington and forgot he left a bullet in the chamber. It was the last thing this Darwin Award nominee would forget because he accidentally shot himself in the face.
Well, that's one less vote for Donald Trump.
Honorable mention number two is Stephen A. Smith, who during a Black History Month event at the University of South Alabama told the students there they 'didn't experience racism'.
Oh really? Negro, please.
Honorable mention number three is a group award to the Berners who attacked Elizabeth Warren, have pissed off superdelegates, and generally not played well with others online
Honorable mention number four is a group award for the Louisville Trump rally attendees who tapped into their inner bigots and shoved a sister being thrown out of their Klan rally.
Guess they didn't get the 'We're not racist' memo from Speaker Paul Ryan.
Bullshyt. Your party's path to political power and keeping it since the late 60's is not only based on the Nixonian Southern Strategy playbook, but pouring gasoline on the hellfire flames of bigotry and anti-POC racism keeps your low information base voters angry and voting GOP.
Honorable mention number six is the employees of the Redmond Athletic Club in Redmond, WA. They lost their lease on Monday and Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor was thinking about buying it.
He rolls up to check out the place, looks into the window, asks for help and the two female employees of the RAC called the cops on him.
Can you say 'bigoted idiots' TransGriot peeps? Thought you could. Needless to say Kam ain't wasting his time or dropping his cash on a purchase of this health club.
Honorable mention number seven is New Hampshire state rep Kyle Tasker. The 30 year old legislative perv got busted for trying to get freaky with a 14 year old girl he solicited online that turned out to be a police officer.
And note once again this armed GOP child predator wasn't in a bathroom or wearing female clothing at the time he was trying to make that tawdry hookup.
Honorable mention number eight is Jeffrey Lord. The Trump surrogate got called out by Van Jones on CNN for the crime of trying to spin the Ku Klux Klan as a liberal organization when anyone with a reality based grasp of American history knows they are a right wing white supremacist terrorist organization.
But naw, anything to make Donald Trump, conservatism, whiteness and white supremacy look pristine and not as evil, oppressive and ugly as it is in reality.
This week's Shut up Fool loser winner is Caitlyn Jenner, who returned to the SUF ranks thanks to a Dawn Ennis interview in The Advocate in which Jenner expressed the desire to be a trans ambassador for transphobic oppressor Ted Cruz
Hold up, just thought of something else to put her on blast for. I`m a proud Texan, and even I don`t want for the rest of my lifetime another Republican Texan at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Especially someone as slimy as the junior senator from Alberta
I have one other thing to say about this latest demonstration of conservaidiocy from Jenner.
Even though it was on the campus of my collegiate alma mater, couldn't bring myself to waste precious time out of my life to watch the five Republicans they have left in the race for the GOP presidential nomination debate each other.
Besides, I had a few writing projects to complete like this one.
You know it's Friday, and in addition to getting ready to call some fools out today, check out the blog before the whitewashed Oscars telecast starts in which in honor of TransGriot's 10th anniversary, I will reveal which ten people get added to the list of people who get the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Lifetime Achievement Awards.
But first things first, let's call out this week's fools, shall we?
Honorable mention number one is a group one for all the fools on that UH Republican debate stage last night for the GOP debate including CNN's Wolf Blitzer.
Honorable mention number two is Jim Holt, who tried to go into spin mode after Kalamazoo terrorist Jason Brian Dalton was revealed to be another white guy with a gun and claim he was a ';progressive..
Honorable mention number three is Rafael Cruz. The father of Ted took time out of trying to convince us his Canadian spawn was presidential material sent by Conservagod to rule us to aiming his special brand of hate at atheists and call them perverted.
Honorable mention number four is Ronda Rousey for a triple dip of hypocrisy. Rousey rips Manny Pacquiao for his anti-gay comments, but wants you to forget that she unleashed anti-trans comment at Fallon Fox back in 2014.
She's also mentioned that she wants to play the Metroid character Samus Aran if they turn it into movie. Umm Ronda, not only is that character trans, you're not trans enough to play her.
Honorable mention number five is Georgia state rep Tommy Benton (R), who believes that the Ku Klux Klan 'wasn't racist and were vigilantes who kept law and order'.
And yeah, I guess you also believe they did marshmallow roasts with those burning crosses
Naw you Southern revisionist backwoods idiot, they were white supremacist terrorists. Stop pining for those days when people like you could oppress non-whites with impunity.
Naw homey, we did the heavy lifting on that. We joined the Union Army in droves and shed blood m countless campaigns on the Union side, we stepped away from th plantations and toward the advancing Union armies, and after emancipation, we organized, educated ourselves and got ourselves elected to offices ranging from the local sheriff to the US House and Senate.
And FYI, it was Black legislators who helped write the Civil Rights Act of 1875 which was struck down by a conservative leaning court, but became the basis of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
This week's fool is Colion Noir. This NRA kneegrow is getting put on blast because while cooning it up for his podcast, claimed that paying taxes on buying a gun was ' rape'.
Really? Naw you ignorant ammosexual, only actually being raped is equal to rape.
And this is why I can't stand and have zero respect fot Black conservafools.
On Tuesday early voting commenced for the March 1 Texas Primary election. Yep people, we are a Super Tuesday state, and our vote matters since 225 Democratic convention delegates are up for grabs. The early voting period in Texas runs until February 26, and yes I've already handled my electoral business and voted in the primary and hope you will make your voice heard if not during the early voting period, on March 1.
It's also Friday, and that means it's time to call out the fool, fools or groups of fools that have exhibited WTF levels of idiocy and unleashed a string of stupid comments out of their mouths.
So let's get busy calling out this week's Shut Up Fool.
Honorable mention number one is Phyllis Schafly, for flapping her gums and stating all of President Obama's judicial nominees need to be stalled and funding stripped from the federal courts.
Damn, is she still wasting O2 on this planet?
Honorable mention number two is the Log Cabin Republicans, who keep showing the world they have an incurable case of Stockholm Syndrome by agreeing to be a sponsor of CPAC. Yep, they agreed to pay for admission into an event where many of the speakers will be dissing them from the stage.
Honorable mention number three is Caitlyn Jenner, for parting her lips and saying she gets more flack for being a Republican than being trans.
Are you really that isolated and clueless? Maybe in Caitlyn World that's true, but the rest of us not living on a Malibu hilltop estate catch hell for being trans. Bye, Caitlyn!
Honorable mention number four is Killer Mike for unleashing his problematic commentt at an ATL Sanders rally that he later apologized for that a uterus doesn't qualify you to be POTUS.
Neither does a penis, homes.
Honorable mention number five is every conservafool who believes the conservalie that President Obama killed Scalia. Naw fools, natural causes did that.
Honorable mentions number six is Ted Cruz. After bashing President Obama for his decision to skip the funeral of Antonin Scalia, his azz isn't going to show up.
How do you say hypocrite in Spanish?
This week's Shut Up Fool winner is The South Dakota Republican controlled legislature for passing the unjust HB 1008 and now sending through another odious anti-trans bill in HB 1029.
As I keep pointing out, the most dangerous transphobic bigots are the ones with the power to pass legislation.
SD legislators like Reps. Jim Stalzer (R), Mark Willadsen (R) Steven Haugaard (R) Arch Beal (R) and Sen David Omdahl (R) are living examples of what I'm talking about.
If you voted for them or are silent about what is happening in the Mount Rushmore State, you are also complicit in the enabling of oppression aimed at your transgender neighbors
Valentine's Day is happening on Sunday, and this weekend the stores will be filled with people trying to get last minute gifts, candy, flowers and Valentine's Day cards for their loved ones. There will also be people who use this weekend to propose to the person they love or get married.
I ain't mad at you people who are lucky enough to be coupled up as Valentine's Day approaches, but as you longtime TransGriot readers know, today is Friday, and this means it's time to call some fools out in Kingian love.
I got a long list, so let's get started.
Honorable mention number one goes to the all the Bernie Sanders supporters who started hurling vile comments at civil rights icon Rep John :Lewis (D-GA) for supporting Hillary Clinton.
Honorable mention number two goes to both Gloria Steinem and Madeline Albright for their messed up comments disparaging young women supporting Bernie Sanders.
Honorable mention number three is a group award for FOX Noise, Rudy Giuliani and every conservafool who attacked Beyonce for the Super bowl halftime show.
Honorable mention number four is Marco Rubio for the multiple political sins of getting caught repeating the same talking point during a debate four times, and after getting called out by a gay NH resident for his homophobia, mistakenly said that the NH legislature needed to pass gay marriage, something that happened in 2012.
Honorable mention number five is Sheriff David Clarke, who went on FOX Noise to coon it up in their Bash BeyBey moment and tried to compare the Klan to the Black Panthers
The Panthers never bombed churches, lynched people, or killed women and children like the Klan did for over 100 years.
Honorable mention number six is Bill Romanowski for aiming his inner Klansman at Cam Newton while gloating over the Broncos win Sunday
Honorable mention number seven is Heidi Cruz, for suggesting the junior senator from Alberta is the 'face of the God we all serve.'
You've been drinking your father in law's Kool Aid too much.
Honorable mention number nine is Meryl Streep. who when confronted about the all white jury panel at the Berlin Film festival she chaired, responded with 'We're All Africans' to deflect from it.
Honorable mention number ten is the group award for the bigoted Aggie students at Texas A&M who uttered racial slurs at a group of Black high school students from Dallas visiting the campus.
February 1 means that the annual observance of Black History Month has started. As far as I am concerned as the founding editor of TransGriot, every month is Black History Month. It is designed to not only introduce and reacquaint our people to their history, but those of you who aren't African-American to the accomplishments of my people.
Those African-American accomplishments also include the accomplishments of trans, bi and SGL Black people as this graphic reminds us and I'm honored to be included in..
I'll have the rest of the month and the year to introduce you to the Black trans history makers in our midst, but it's Friday, and y'all know what I do every Friday at noon CST.
It's time to call out some fools. And let's get started doing so.
Honorable mention number one is the junior senator from Canada, Ted Cruz, for unleashing transphobia, homophobia, and political dirty trick in order to get that upset win in Iowa.
Honorable mention number two is ChernobylCherno Biko for that post she wrote (and I refuse to link to) doubling down on the now discredited lie she and her conspirators used to disrupt the CC16 Trans attracted men panel.
And naw Cherno, I don't support or defend Josh Duggar, Jared Fogle or protests jumped off under false pretenses designed to shut down needed discussions before they even happen.
Honorable mention number three is James David Manning, who commented on the foreclosure of his ATLAH hate church in Harlem by parting his lips to say that hay couldn't buy his church until they could birth babies through their anus.
What Pastor Manning? You mad because nobody wants to do anything sexually to your anus?
Honorable mention number four is Stacey Dash, who is an early contender for 2016 Shut Up Fool of the Year by stating that casting the white Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson is a 'win for diversity'.
Just stop, Stacey. Whatever love we Black peeps had for you is rapidly diminishing every time you open your mouth.
This week's Shut Up Fool Winner is Daryash 'Roosh' Valizadeh, the MRA and self proclaimed 'King of Masculinity' behind the worldwide series of 'Make Rape Legal' events scheduled to kick off tomorrow in 165 locations (including here in Houston at the Sam Houston statue in Hermann Park).
And naw, we ain't buying your excuse that the multiple series of posts you have written in mommy's basement denigrating women were 'satire'.
Nobody around the world is laughing, and rape is not a subject to make light of.
Nobody's also laughing about your statements that rape should be legalized on private property, women should be barred from voting, stating a woman's value is dependent upon her 'fertility and beauty' and that anorexic women make the best girlfriends.
Hope you stocked up on the lotion or bought an inflatable doll, because it's going to be a long time before any woman gets intimate with you.
On January 30, 2009 one of the regular features on this blog that you TransGriot readers have come to know and love was born. It's my weekly Shut Up Fool awards in which I shine a bright spotlight on hypocrisy, stupidity, and jaw dropping ignorance.
The inaugural fool I selected in 2009 as initial Shut Up Fool Awards weekly winner was FOX Noise's Juan Williams. The weekly SUF awards grew into the Shut Up Fool of the Year Awards that I reveal every New Year's Eve, and the upcoming Shut Up Fool Lifetime Achievement Awards that get passed out during Oscar weekend.
So now that we have reached a lucky seven years and counting in calling fools out, I'll definitely be busy this year because this is an election year.
Lets' get busy cranking up another year of TransGriot Shut Up Fool award winners
Honorable mention number one is everyone who was on stage for the latest GOP debate.
Oh really? I didn't see the Oregon National Guard deployed against your vanillacentric privileged asses with full riot gear and military equipment. I didn't see tear gas or rubber bullets used on you, much less you peeps being surrounded by a ring of law enforcement.
Don't even try it.
Honorable mention number three is Indiana state rep Woody Burton (R) who stated at a town hall he is opposed to LGBT rights protections in the Hoosier state because 'there are no laws protecting fat white people'.
Let me move on the next honorable mention fool and let you readers marinate on that level of stupid for a few minutes. Indiana peeps, think about the fact a majority of your fellow Hoosiers gave this moron the power to write legislation.
Honorable mention number four is Carly Fiorina, who is slimy on many levels to begin with, but gets called out for hypocritically profiting from a company that uses the aborted fetal stem cells she has demagogued about in her war against Planned Parenthood.
Honorable mention number five is this kneegrow Fort Lauderdale hate pastor cooning it up for the Religious Reich and testifying in favor of an unjust SB 110, that would allow businesses in the Sunshine State to deny service to LGBT customers. He straight up lied and said gays were killers that deserved no rights.
Um dude, guess you forgot when the segregationists trying to justify Jim Crow laws said the same thing (and still do) about us.
Honorable mention number six is the rapper B.o.B, who tried to claim the earth was flat and he had proof until astrophysicist Dr Neil deGrasse Tyson dropped a truth nuke on his azz.
I got proof that B.o.B is wrong, too. Here's a picture of planet Earth taken from the International Space Station orbiting 100 miles above this planet's surface.
You need Jesus and remedial courses in science, astronomy....
Honorable mention number seven is Bill O'Reilly for keeping the FOX War on Transpeople going and trafficking in transphobia. He wondered if transpeople will get a special voting booth
Yeah, I got a special cussout reserved just for is transphobic azz.
Naw you ignorant mofo, your party is busy trying to keep my Black trans behind from voting, much less have any human rights, so phuck you and the racist GOP.
Honorable mention number eight is Bristol Palin. The spawn of Sarah opened her mouth and inserted her pumps into it by trying to hide behind Stacey Dash's skirts and comment on the melanin free Oscars with the flippant not everyone gets a trophy line.
You can't get the Oscar if you aren't nominated for one in the first place you chillbilly
This week's winner is Stacey Dash, who wants an apology from all her critics who dragged her clueless azz all over social media for saying the stupid conservacrap she said about eliminating BET and Black History Month when her hypocritical ass was getting her bills paid by acting in BET projects.
She now doubling down on her anti-Black rhetoric, which will ensure the Black community will be pushing back just as hard against this sellout.
Bye, Stacey. Have several seats at the Hollywood Bowl and a 32 oz. cup of STFU while you wait for an apology you will never get until you stop getting those wash, sets and GOP cranial rinses at FOX Noise HQ.
