Shut Up Fool Awards-2015 Labor Day Weekend Edition

It's Labor Day weekend, and it's considered the last weekend of the summer season.  People are getting their last trips in to the beach or wherever they wish to travel before the weather starts turning cooler.

For those peeps in the pageant world, Labor Day weekend means the annual pilgrimage to Chicago for the Miss Continental pageant.

But what this day is for in the United States and Canada is to celebrate workers.

For those of you who are on the job either serving the public, building things, repairing and maintaining our infrastructure or are running mom and pop businesses or startups, this day to to recognize and celebrate you.

And hopefully we will see more progress in the coming year to raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.in the US.

Speaking of labor, time to get to my usual Friday labor of love in which I get to call out what fool, fools or groups of fools get this week's Shut Up Fool honors.

Honorable mention number one is Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) who is named for a double dip of idiocy.   First, he was quoted during a campaign stop as saying that 'people with jobs don't do heroin'

Oh really?   The employed not only can do heroin, but get coke, weed, OxyContinin.....you get the drift.

Then he said that lack of assimilation was the problem of native Americans .   Gee that's mighty white of you to say, Rand.

Honorable mention number two is Michael Whaley, the latest kneegrow to go on FOX Noise and coon it up for the conservafools.  They brought his azz on to attack Black Lives Matter..




Honorable mention number three is Raymond Mott who provides more evidence that the po-po's are contaminated with white supremacists, and gives us Black peeps even more ammo to be wary of them.

he denied he was a member of the KKK, then came clean, refused to resign and claimed that 'he'd been baptized.'  

Baptized by who?   Tell us who he's been baptized by; Church Lady.

Honorable mention number four is a joint award for Minnesota Teapublican state reps Tim Kelly and Tara Mack, who both got caught with their pants down in a park by a Dakota County police officer while their married to other people azzes were making out with each other.

Reps Kelly and Mack compounded their multiple violations of the Ten Commandments by calling the officer who wrote them public nuisance citations a liar.

There's those hypocritical GOP family values for you.   And note they love the po-po's until they start enforcing the laws on their vanillacentric privileged behinds

Honorable mention number five is Bristol Palin, who proved once again she's her mother's daughter with an ignorant facts free anti-Obama rant

Honorable mention number six is Mike Huckabee, who got called out on MSNBC's Morning Joe for his hypocrisy in calling Hillary Clinton a 'lawbreaker', but supports lawbreakers Kim Davis and Josh Duggar.

Honorable mention number seven is Anthony Horowitz, who opened his mouth to say that actor Idris Elba was 'too street' to play James Bond and then apologized after his ass got justifiably called out on it.

This week's Shut Up Fool loser winner is Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman (R), for that jacked up press conference last Saturday in which he blamed Black Lives Matter for the fatal shooting of one of his deputies, when even the detectives working the case don't know the cause of the Goforth killing yet.

His problematic and racist comments have had the ripple effect of triggering a conservative attack aimed at the Black Lives Movement that FOX Noise has eagerly egged on.

Shut Up Fool Awards-Blue Bell's Back Edition

The Great Blue Bell Famine of 2015 is about to end in the Houston area! 

After the Alabama production plant was cleared to resume making the Best Ice Cream In The Country, it is making four flavors, homemade vanilla,  Dutch chocolate, cookies and cream and The Great Divide (chocolate and homemade vanilla combined) until they can get back up to full production.

It will start hitting Houston store shelves on August 31, but after I get reacquainted with one half gallon of the returning flavors, will have to wait until the diet stuff hits the grocer's freezers.

Enough jibber jabber about my favorite ice cream, it's time to start calling out fools.  

Honorable mention number one to Donald Trump for being a racist azzhole.and getting us a step closer to that permanent political allegiance switch of Latinos to the Democratic Party happening by kicking Jorge Ramos out of an Iowa press conference.   He also let another sexist comment fly at Megyn Kelly among his other WTFery on the GOP campaign trail this week.

Keep it up Donald.  Your Latino community poll numbers are probably lower than Yolanda Saldivar's now.

Honorable mention number two is Megyn Kelly, for putting her pumps in her conservafool mouth and demanding that Dr Cornel West explain why #BlackLivesMatter hasn't in her words discussed lack-on black violence, and he schooled her azz.

Honorable mention number three is the now suspended ODU Sigma Nu chapter for hanging some offensive signs at their frat house over the weekend.  Semester hasn't even stared and they have already earned an 'F' in treating women with dignity and respect.

Honorable mention number four is SD state rep Roger Hunt, (R) who is proposing genital inspections of transgender athletes because he's pissed off about the South Dakota High School Activities Association’s recent adoption of a trans equality policy.

Figures it would be a GOP legislative pervert proposing this latest attack on trans kids

Honorable mention number five is Michael Brown, who is still trying to spin a decade later the 'heck of a job' he did as head of FEMA in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

 Dude, stop trying to spin you way out of the abysmal job you did.  History and the videotape don't lie.

Honorable mention number six is the FOX Noise kneegrow fembot Harris Faulkner,  who parted her lips to say that parents need to keep their daughters in the kitchen to prevent fraternity rapes.

And when did you have that wash, set and GOP cranial rinse?

This week's Shut Up Fool winner is Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.   The word got leaked they are pitching a new reality TV show in which they counsel the victims of sexual abuse.

Really?  The peeps who failed their own daughters miserably on that subject now want a TV show to counsel somebody else's childrenwho have fallen victim/to people ilke the predator son they protetced?


What next?  A show featuring Jared Fogle talking about how to avoid online child molesters?   Bernie Madoff giving investment advice?

Jim Bob and Michelle, your 15 minutes is up, and I need to say this razorback style:  Woo pig sooie, PHOOEY!

Shut Up Fool Awards- Leaving Casa De Slumlord Edition

After a few weeks of unhappy living at a place that was less than satisfactory and dealing with a landlord  unwilling to fix the problems like  no electricity in the three bedrooms and half the living room, but still wanting their rent on time, (you know what my answer to that was) ,me and my lovely roommate are saying goodbye and good riddance to this abominable abode at 7881 Gallahad St  and moving on up to better digs.

And it doesn't look as nice as it does in this picture,

Note to old landlord:  Never piss off a blogger.  All you had to do was pick up your phone instead of ducking and dodging us since July 8 and we could have settled this lemon situation,

Our new place will be in a nicer neighborhood and ours for the next six months.  Dee Dee and I already eyeballed it two weeks ago, and if we like life in it we'll happily extend the lease for a little while longer.

Both of us are just ready to turn this lemon situation around and have some stability in our housing situations so we can go about doing the work of the community and living our lives.

But first things first is moving the hell up out of here.   And while me and Dee Dee are handling that business, I'm well aware of the fact it's Friday, so y'all can peruse this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards as I get my move on.

Honorable mention number one is a group award to the Houston media, for continuing to slime the HERO as a 'gay rights ordinace.

Honorable mention number two is a group award for One Million Moms, which is a conservafool white male run group that is getting this callout for daring to slime my little sis Jazz Jennings.

Honorable mention number three is Andrea Lafferty, who said that parent who allow their children to transition are 'committing the ultimate form of child abuse'

Naw it's forcing your child to grow us as a right wing conservative Christian....but I digress.

Honorable mention number four is Donald Trump, who commented that the two brothers who beat up and urinated on a homeless Latino man in his name 'want America to be great again'.

And what would make America great again is you zipping your lying lips and going to Bosley's to get a hair replacement.

Honorable mention number five is Creflo Dollar.   He's still whining about his plan to get his flock to buy him a $65 million dollar jet getting roasted on Black Twitter and everywhere else in the media. So this wannabee Rev. Ike is trying to gaslight his congregation into buying him a jet and claiming his critics don't 'understand God or the Bible."

Oh I understand God and the Bible quite well, Dollar Bill Creflo.   Show me what part of the Bible that has a scripture that reads, "The flock shalt buy thine minister a new jet."

Honorable mention number six is  Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller (R) who exhibited Proven Conservative Racist Leadership by suggesting that nukes are the solution to dealing with Muslim terrorists

This week's Shut Up Fool Winner is Jan Mickleson.    The Iowa conservative radio talker opened his mouth and something racist came out of it.

He suggested on his radio show that Latino undocumented immigrant not only self deport, but the ones that remained be used as 'wards of the state' to and used as lave labor to build that Mexican border fence the conservafools are so fixated on.

Y'all keep proving every thing you peeps flap your gums that you not only want to repeal the 20th Century, but you wish to bring back slavery.

You also keep proving to the world that the only people that matter to the GOP and the conservative movement are other white conservative males.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Happy Birthday Halle Edition

Today is the 49th birthday of Oscar winning actress Halle Berry, who was born on this date in Cleveland, OH in 1966.

Damn, she's looking good.  Guess it's being a mom   Hope she's having a wonderful, stress free day and we get to see her lovely face on the silver screen soon in a project worthy of her acting talents.

I know y'all didn't surf over here to read some jibber-jabber about Halle.  I know what today is.

Honorable mention number one goes to Donald Trump for a far too long list of cray-cray that would require a blog post for me to catalog it all.  And yes, her is a contender for 2015 Shut Up Fool of the Year.

Honorable mention number two is a group award for all the Bernie Sanders supporters still mad that Black Lives Matter activists shut down two of his speeches and spouting problematically racist crap about it.  

Hey, all I have to say is the protests worked to get him to release a comprehensive plan on addressing the racial issues of importance to the BLM movement and get the discussion going in this 2016 presidential campaign.

Honorable mention number three is indicted Texas AG Ken Paxton (R) whose Massive Resistance 2,0 to implementing the SCOTUS same sex marriage ruling nearly landed his rump in federal court to face contempt charges

Hey don't look at me people.  I voted for the Democratic candidate in that AG race.  The Teapublicans are the one who put him in office with their votes..

Honorable mention number four goes to Pat Robertson, who let more brazen stupidity and selective interpretation of the Bible loose when he said that the laws in Leviticus only applies to gays. 

Oh really Marion? And what other scriptures don't apply to lying conservafool political con artists like you?

Honorable mention number five goes to Larry Kramer, who hypocritically called out people who have been calling for a boycott of the crime against history Stonewall movie.

Just do unto Larry what Marsha would have done and pay him no mind.

Honorable mention number six is  Mary Elizabeth Williams, who once again proved why that #SolidarityIsForWhiteWomen hashtag exists by writing a Salon article calling on feminists to support Megyn Kelly who got attacked by Donald Trump post- Cirque de GOP debate.

My higher cognitive functions compel me to call your ass out for this BS article and ask what the hell were you thinking when you wrote it?   Hell naw I'm not supporting a woman who is not only is NOT a feminist, but has repeatedly said racist crap about Black people from her FOX noise perch..

Honorable mention number seven is a joint award for the (for now) unidentified female racist customer in Danville, VA who called the Lowe's store and demanded a white driver bring her stuff to her instead of the Black driver who did so on July 27. 

Guess she needed a supply of wood to build some crosses for an upcoming Klan meeting.

This week's Shut up Fool winner I have to go back to Kentucky for, and it's Kim Davis

She seems to have the misguided faux faith based fueled belief egged on by the constitutional know-nothings from the Liberty Counsel that her religious beliefs trump federal law and the US Constitution. 

Naw Miss Thang, they don't,.and on Wednesday US District Judge David Bunning made that clear.in his ruling that stated Davis has likely violated the U.S. Constitution's protection against the establishment of a religion by "openly adopting a policy that promotes her own religious convictions at the expenses of others."

He ordered her to issue marriage licenses to gay couples in the Rowan County courthouse in Morehead, KY where she works for now.and promptly defied it the next day.by denying a gay male couple a marriage license for the second time.

Naw homegirl, you do not get to choose when you are being paid with taxpayer dollars that also come from LGBT people that live in Rowan County to NOT do the job we pay you for.  Time for Judge Bunning to throw her behind in jail and give her some time to meditate on Matthew 22;21

Shut Up Fool Awards- Dancing On MichFest's Grave Edition

While the TERF's are crying rivers of White Womyn's Tears over the self inflicted demise of the 40th annual Hate On Trans Womyn Convening, AKA the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival that kicked off on Tuesday, I'm breaking out the bottle of champagne I received to celebrate a special occasion and doing the happy dance over it's rapidly approaching end on August 9.

Good riddance to transphobic rubbish.  No more anti-trans indoctrination on 'The Land'   And damned sure don't feel sorry for Lisa Vogel and her cadre of stuck in the 70's hatemongers because of their refusal to evolve. They would rather kill the festival than give up their desire to hate on and discriminate against trans womyn who may have been interested in attending their shindig in the Hart, MI woods and the allies who would reconsider their boycott of it if they would just let trans womyn who wish to attend it on The Land. .

If you peeps who liked MichFest want to blame somebody for its demise, you point the finger at Lisa and her like minded TERF's.  Don't aim any of that vanillacentric privileged White Womyn's Hate at Trans World

Anyway, enough jibber-jabber about the soon to be dead MichFest and time to move on to other more important things like calling out this week's bumper crop of fools.

Honorable mention number one is Lisa Vogel for failing to evolve and killing MichFest rather than opening the door to trans feminine women who wish to attend to do so, then doubling down on the transphobia by setting up on The Land a trans reparative therapist.. 

And y'all don't hate trans people at MichFest.  Yeah, right.

Honorable mention number two is Jaqueline Sephora Andrews, a so called 'gender critical transwoman' who got my undivided attention in the wrong way and got put on blast for it.

Really?  The TERF's still hate your allegedly Black trans azz no matter how much sucking up you do to them.  Ask your white TS separatist/H?BS friends how fast they threw them under the bus after they got busted colluding with them on that Brennan-Hungerford anti-trans right BS to the UN Entity on Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women

Honorable mention number three is a collective award for every fool on stage at the GOP 'kiddie table' debate and the Cirque se GOP one in Cleveland.

Honorable mention number four is Mike Huckabee, one of our contenders for 2015 Shut Up Fool of the Year who once again tried to take a dig at open military service for transpeople during the debate by reciting that tired 'The military is not a social experiment line'

That would be news to Baron von Steubing, one of the first generals in the Continental Army who was gay, the 54th Massachusetts, the Buffalo Soldiers, the Tuskegee Airmen,  the 761st Black Panther Tank Battalion, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Sgt Shane Ortega, Kristin Beck, Brynn Tannehill, the LGB peeps who openly serve in our military and the over 15,000 estimated trans people who are currently serving in our nation's armed forces.

Honorable mention number five is Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) who did some mansplaining on the Senate floor  floor and asserted that he had the right to lecture a woman about abortion because ' it's a man's issue'

Her body, her call on what to do with it, even if you impregnated her.   She has the veto power because she's the one who has to decide whether or not to carry the fetus to term, give birth to it and raise that child for the next 20 years..  Until a man can do that, have several sections of seats at FedEx Field and STFU.

Honorable mention number six.is Jeb Bush for claiming that women health issues are overfunded,

Just more evidence why we need to #StayOutOfTheBushes and there should be #NoBushPOTUSThreepeat

Honorable mention number seven is Rep. Steve King (R-IA) who thinks that because same sex marriage is the law of the land, people will marry their lawnmowers.  

In the race to determine who is the dumbest member of Congress, it's between Louie Gohmert and him.

This week's Shut Up Fool loser  winner is Caitlyn Jenner

She finally let her conservative side show during an August 2 episode of I Am Cait, and it was not a good moment either .  Her insulated from the realities of trans life self made some problematic comments about social programs.

“They can make more not working with social programs than they actually can with an entry-level job,” Jenner said to an RV full of LGBT activists on the show.

Um no boo boo.  As anyone who has had to do SNAP or any other social program for a minute can tell you, one, we DON'T want to be on them because of the stigma, and two, sometimes it's necessary because you may need that helping hand for a short period of time.

And did it not occur to your sheltered, living large GOP voting behind that the average income for some transpeeps because of anti-trans discrimination in many cases pushed by your GOP friends is $10,000 a year?  That's well below the poverty line of $15K.

You really need to talk to the peeps I'm in contact with, along with more trans persons of color who will gladly break it down to you what life is like for those of us who don't live in a Malibu mansion and have been publicly out way longer than you have.

Shut Up Fool Awards-Chillin' At TTNS 2015 Edition

I'm in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the seventh edition of the Texas Transgender Nondiscrimination Summit that is taking place as you read this at on the UT-Dallas campus.

We are at lunch right now,  and we have heard our TTNS Day 1 keynote speaker Dr. Stephen Sutton give an interesting and well received speech to the people in attendance as I think about my seminar tomorrow.

But today is Friday, so it`s time to get to our normal weekly business and call out the fool, fools or groups of fools for our illustrious award

Not going to tease you this week with a long list of fools that were in contention for this week's award, I'm going to get down to SUF 'bidness' and let you know who won it.

This week`s Shut Up  Fool Award winner is Mike Huckabee.

Whether he was violating Godwin`s Law by invoking concentration camp imagery in his critique of President Obama and the Iran nuke deal to saying something else offensive about the trans community being able to serve in our country's military, and tripling down on it while continuing to defend pedophile Josh Duggar.




And on that note, Huckabee can have several seats and a heartfelt Shut Up Fool from moi.

Shut Up Fool Awards-2015 Texans Training Camp Edition

It's getting close to that time of year Moni loves in terms of the start of the NFL football season.   Training camps are starting to or have been opening for all 32 teams across the country.

For my fave NFL squad, it starts on Sunday as they welcome players to the Methodist Hospital Complex across Kirby Drive from NRG Stadium. 

Head coach Bill O'Brien and his staff will begin the work to pare down that large group of players, returning vets, rookies and undrafted free agents to that final 45 man roster that will open the season September 13 at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.

And yeah, if you're wondering if me, Eli and defending 2014 prognostication champ Mike Watts will bump heads again this season, I'm already prepping for it so I can take my title back. 

There is an air of optimism amongst the fans of all NFL teams about their prospects of either making the playoffs, returning to the playoffs or making a deep postseason run that ends with their team hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

But enough NFL jibber-jabber.   It's Friday, and y'all wish to find out what fool, fools or group of fools are champions if idiocy. 

Time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

Honorable mention number one is Zoey Tur, for saying in a friend's FB post 'there is no transgender community.   Really?  I'd expect something that illogical to come out of the mouth of a newly transitioned hothead who has alienated people left and right who wished to help her get acclimated to Trans World and its dynamics..
 
Honorable mention number two is Donald Trump.   Just pick any ignorant statement he's made this week and it was good enough to get him an SUF honorable mention..

Honorable mention number three is Taylor Swift, for making it all about her and demonstrating once again that #SolidarityIsForWhiteWomen when Nicki Minaj blasted the VMA's and the music industry in general for their double standard of constantly nominating videos with images of 'very slim bodies' while ignoring the ones that don't like her Anaconda one.

Honorable mention number four is the state of Texas, for violating the 14th Amendment and racistly refusing to issue birth certificates to US citizen children born to undocumented Mexican immigrants.   They are being sued on it, and the case is winding its way through the federal court system. 

I'm willing to bet that Texas would have a problem if those same American children were born to undocumented Canadian or European.immigrants.

And by dint of that kid being born on US soil, unless his parents are diplomats, they are American citizens. .

Honorable mention umber five is Buffalo Common Council candidate Joseph Mascia, who got caught unleashing his inner Archie Bunker and refuses to end his campaign after being busted for repetitively saying the n-word and other derogatory comments about Black people.

I repeat, anti-Black hatred is systemic and a real problem.

Honorable mention number six is Marco Rubio, for opening his mouth on FOX noise and saying President Obama 'has no class'.

Dude, you don't know how to spell the words class in either Spanish or English.  The POTUS has more class in his pinky finger than your entire clown bus full of GOP presidential candidate.

Honorable mention number seven is the GOP dominated Texas Supreme Court, who ignored massive fraud by their GOP friends and in a (surprise, surprise) partisan ruling not only blocked the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance, but ordered the Houston City Council to either repeal HERO in 30 days or place it on the ballot.

That means for the Houston LGBT community, our human rights not only got put on hold, but place on the ballot so a tyranny of the majority can vote on them

This week's Shut Up Fool loser winner is Ben Hall. 

The former Houston city attorney got his azz whipped by 30 points in losing to Mayor Annise Parker's final reelection campaign in 2013, and has doubled down on the homophobia and transphobia in his 2015 mayoral run.

He sent out a huffy press release earlier in the week denying he was a hater when the news surfaced that he'd signed Dave Wilson's anti-trans petition and received a donation from longtime gaybaiter Steven Hotze, then reversed himself the next day and claimed he was 'proud to sign it'.

Dude, you just proved what I said in this post about you, and you've been an opponent of the Houston LGBT community since October 2013. 

He doubled down on the anti-LGBT bigotry in yesterday's press conference, and is running with the tag line he wants to be the 'Mayor For All Houstonians'.  Unless of course, you happen to be a trans, bi or SGL Houstonian, then he doesn't care about you.

You effort to rip human rights protection from Houston LGBT citizens makes you unfit to be mayor of this city.   You not only won't gt my vote, but neither will you get the votes of people who are our allies and appreciate the fact this is a diverse town that welcomes to contributions of ALL its citizens.

Shut Up Fool Awards-Dropping Da Bomb On Ignorance Edition

Yesterday was the 70th anniversary of the Trinity nuclear test in New Mexico that proved the first atom bomb design worked.  

Several weeks later om August 6 'Little Boy' was dropped on Hiroshima and 'Fat Man' was dropped on Nagasaki three days later   Those bombs ended World War II in the Pacific theater.

The also led to a series of nuke tests in the late 40s and 50's as the military sought to learn the effects of The Bomb in various situations until above ground and atmospheric testing was stopped due to the signing of the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty in 1963.

Now that we've gotten the min-history lesson out of the way, time to do what we do on Fridays and drop the bomb on ignorance.   It's time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

Honorable mention number one is a group award to all the fools waving the Confederate flag when President Obama visited the state on Monday.   Thank you for doing us all a favor and letting us and your neighbors know you are ignorant racist bigots.

Honorable mention number two goes to Oklahoma governor Mary Fallin (R) who demonstrated for the whole world her lack of basic civics and government knowledge when she couldn't even name her own branch of government .

Honorable mention number three is Texas governor (yuck) Greg Abbott (R) who instead of calling out the loons in his party, doubled down on it and deployed the Texas State Guard to 'guard against a military takeover of Texas by the feds' as the Jade Helm military exercise gets underway.

Is it 2018 yet?

Honorable mention number four is the Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church in Tampa, FL, who sent a $1000 collection letter to a single mother with kids to collect tithes and fees they claim she owes in order to remain a member in good standing on church matters..

WTF?  I'm so sick of these wannabe Rev. Ike pastors

Honorable mention number five is  James David Manning of the ATLAH hate church in New York who is ranting about 'sodomite demons'.

Honorable mention number six is Tony Perkins, who hated on the news that in the next six months American  transpeople will get to openly serve our country.

Well Tony, it may be news to you, but 15,000 trans people are already serving our country.  Why can't patriotic US trans people do the same thing that trans people in 16 nations can do and have done for over a decade in some cases?


This  week's Shut Up Fool winner is Airway Heights, WA mayor Patrick Rushing.

He must be a Republican, because the bigot went to that beyond tired conflation of the POTUS and FLOTUS to simians in a post on his Facebook page..

While he gave a  (as usual) halfazzed non apology apology, the Airway Heights City Council wasn't impressed and asked for his resignation.   He also defiantly said according yo KHQ-TV he wasn't resigning from the mayor's chair because to do so would be an admission :'that he is a racist.'

Shut Up Fool Awards-New Horizons Of Idiocy Edition

The New Horizons mission was launched by NASA on January 19, 2006 to explore Pluto and the Kuiper Belt region beyond it.

The spacecraft after it does the Pluto flyby will head farther into the Kuiper Belt to examine one or two of the ancient, icy mini-worlds in that vast region, at least a billion miles beyond Neptune’s orbit. 

It is already paying dividends by revealing that Pluto has four other moons besides its largest one Charon named Nix, Hydra, Styx and Kerberos

Next Tuesday the New Horizons space probe will make its closest approach to Pluto by flying within 7800 miles of the planet's surface.   As it does so, the United States will become the first spacefaring nation to have sent probes to all the known worlds in our solar system.

Meanwhile back on Planet Earth, it's Friday, and y'all know what that means.  It's time to select the fool, fools or group of fools that continue to push the boundaries of ignorance,  go to new horizons of arrogance, and boldly go where no azzhole has gone before.

Honorable mention number one goes to all 16 GOP presidential candidates for suddenly having a 'scheduling conflict' that will prevent them from attending the upcoming National Council of La Raza Convention in Kansas City.

Honorable mention  number two goes to Mike Huckabee, who continues to talk out of both sides of his disingenuous mouth by claiming on one hand Palestinians don't exist, and then called for them to be relocated.  

I have a few Palestinian friends who would love to have a few words with you about that subject.

Make up your mind Mikey.   Either they exist or they don't   If they don't exist, how can the ' non existent Palestinians' be relocated?

Honorable mention number three goes to Candace Cameron Bure, who is revealing herself to be as bad as her right wing fundie brother Kirk for still trying and failing miserably on The View to justify anti-gay discrimination in the wake of the Oregon homophobic cake bakers having to pay a $135K.legal settlement to the lesbian couple they discriminated against.

Raven-Symone of all people called her azz out on it.   



Honorable mention number three goes to Si Robertson, who points to calendars of all things as his 'proof' that atheists don't exist.

Y'all just keep proving to me every day that conservatism is a hotbed of stupidity and ignorance.

Honorable mention number four is Paula Deen, who obviously didn't learn a thing from the last kerfluffle she stirred up and posted a picture of her son dressed in brownface.

Yeah, you have some 'splaining to do to the Latino community about that and your Southern fried bigotry.

Honorable mention number five is Rick Wiles, who renounced his American citizenship because of the SCOTUS marriage equality ruling.  So Rick, when do you leave my country? 

And when you do, make sure you take the rest of your right wing fools with you.

Honorable mention number six is Stacey Dash, who had the wash set and GOP cranial rinse and is trying hard to fit in as a FOX Fembot.   In her latest appearance of the GOP Propaganda Network, she opened her mouth to say that she wants Donald Trump running our country. 

That's it.  You have confirmed to the entire world that you are a beautiful fool. 

Honorable mention number seven is the conservafool majority on the Texas State Board of Education Miseducation.   They are about to push out a textbook that is a crime against history that tries to claim slavery was a side issue in the Civil War ( it was THE issue) , downplays the KKK and Jim Crow segregation, and tries to whitewash to Transatlantic Slave Trade.

Hey, you proud Americans did all that crap, so practice what you screech at other and own your crap.

Honorable mention number eight is a group award for all the Ugly American fools who sent racist tweets in the wake of Team USA's 5-2 victory in the FIFA Women's World Cup final over defending champion Japan.

See, you people are why we can't have nice international reps.

This week's fool is Donald Chump Trump, the leading contender (no joke) for the GOP 2016 POTUS nomination who continues to triple down on the racist and xenophobic crud he's saying on the campaign stump as people and companies rush to sever business ties to him.

Trump recently launched an attack on African-American kids in addition to the continued insults he's lobbed at the Latino community., but incredulously thinks he's going to win the Latino vote.

Yeah right, the sellout Latino vote.   But keep sellin' those presidential woof tickets and race baiting until at least until the first GOP debate on August 6.   You're doing the country a huge service by exposing the racist underbelly of the Republican Party o moderate voters and motivating non-white voters to show up and show out at the polls on November 8, 2016

Shut Up Fool Awards-There Go The SCOTUS Judges Edition

It`s the USA`s birthday tomorrow, and some of us have much to celebrate in the wake of the SCOTUS delivering some groundbreaking decisions on marriage equality, preserving Obamacare and even spiking an unjust Texas law that would have forced all but five abortion clinics east of I-35 in the state to close.

However, just before the Supremes bounced from DC until the first Monday in October, they decided to take another affirmative action case from the same suburban Texas white female who was mad because she couldn`t get into UT with jacked up grades.

Can you say `entitled`girls and boys?   Thought you could.

Oyez, Oyez, Oyez!   Time to rule on that fool, fool or group of fools exhibiting Antomin Scalia levels of biogtry, Clarence Thomas levels of hypocrisy and sellout coonery, John Roberts (no relation) levels of cluelessness and Joseph Alito levels of arrogance.

It`s time for this week`s edition of the TransGriot Shut Up fool awards, SCOTUS style.

Our first honorable mention case is the entire conservafool movement vs marriage equality, and the court finds you went too far off the chain in over the top hyperbole, attempts to enact Massive Resistance 3.0 by refusing to issue marriage licenses across the country, and other acts of conservaignorance I`d need to write a full post to call out.

Honorable mention case number two is Donald Trump vs the Latino community, and this one despite an amicus brief from FOX Noise, the verdict is unanimous that Trump is a bigot.  Univision has pulled out of broacasting the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants he owns,  Mexico has pulled their delegate from the Miss Universe pageant, and NBC Universal has kicked him to the curb from The Apprentice in additon to the pendejo being excoriated by the Latino community and their allies.

Honorable mention case number three is the group one for all the KKKonfederate Flag defenders vs American history.    Another unamimous decision in favor of history and the facts that the Confederate flag represents white supremacy and gray clad group of racists who fought an armed rebellion against the US goverment to keep my people enslaved.  

The South not only started the War To Perpetuate Slavery they lost, the words of the CSA politicians of the day, Confederate VP Alexander Stephens 1861`Cornerstone Speech` and the causes of secession for several states made it quite clear why they did so.

Honorable mention case number four is Frankie Quijano and Houston Pride vs Reality.   In the wake of the historic ruling happening just 24 hours before the first ever downtown pride parade was a reason for optimism, but to claim that 750K people attended the parade and the festival was stretching the boundaris of credibility when the crowd estimates I`d heard was 450K.

Honorable mention case number fiveis Amber Roof vs Class.   She`s the sister of Charleston `terriss` Dylann Roof who was scheduled to get married on June 21 until her Confederate flag waving white supremacist brother walked into a church, killed 9 people and forced her to cancel the wedding.

She put together a self serving GoFundMe campaign to raise the money for her rescheduled wedding, which was canceled after widespread negative backlash `to start their new lives`.

Whiteness at its finest folks.   She`s more concerned about her life,  and her only concern about the nine lives her brother took or how it impacts their families is it ruined her wedding.

Have an arena full of seats, a bless her heart and a nice Southern sweet tea flavored blend of shut the hell up.

This week`s Supreme Fool is Rick Perry.   In addition to running for the GOP presidential nomination for a second time while under indictment, Perry made the mistake of thinking black people are as clueless as the GOP base when he opened his mouth to say that it is the Republican Party who is giing hope to my coomunity.

Snce when?   Yeah, your party is giving hope to Black Americans alright in the contex of we hope you GOP conservajerks lose next year`s election and some house and Senate seats to go with it.    We hope you stop demonizing us.   We hope you stop suppressing our right to vote.   We hope you stop coming up with new ways to insult a POTUS revered by us.

Shut Up Fool Awards--Fools Everywhere Edition

As our TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards mascot has often said,  Fools are everywhere.

And they have come out to play in a week leading up to a historic SCOTUS ruling combined with the right wing trying to tapdnce around the fact that one of their southen fried white supremacist bigots shot and killed 9 Black people in a Charleston, SC church.

So yeah, I know y`all wish to get right to this week`s TransGriot SUF winner is, and I needed extra time to determine it with the avalanche of late entries for the honor.

But with you TransGriot readers help, we have a winner.

This weeks fool is a Lone Star State one in longtime LGBT suburban LGBT hater Rick Scarborough.

Scarborough loudly  was sellin` woof tickets to the conservasheeple by claiming he would set himself on fire if the SCOTUS ruled to make same sex marriage the law of the land,   Now that that has happened, as I suspected, he has quickly done what all conservafools do by reneging on what hey say,

Yo dude, you need to make your deeds match your words, and I know more than a few peeps in the Houston area who would be happy to supply you with the gasoline and matches to immolate yourself.

All you have done is one again proved what lying you know whats you faux faith based haters really are.

Shut Up Fool Awards- Moni's Moving Edition

After a drama filled run to get to this point,  I finally moved out of the place I've called home for the last six months yesterday.

I'm still trying to find a new landing spot, and after moving my belongings to a storage facility, I'm spending the next few days at a friend's house destressing from the events of the last month while working on trying to find a new place without that time pressure bearing down upon me.

Thanks to Dee Dee Watters and Nikki Araguz Loyd for their help on Wednesday and Thursday getting the process started.  I also thank all of you who have contributed to my moving fund which is just $300 short of the target and those of you who have offered multiple places to choose from to stay while I find a solution to my housing situation.

Now, enough jibber-jabber about me, I know what y'all surfed over here for.   It's Friday, and while I was contemplating where I wanted to live, I also was contemplating what fool, fools or group of fools would be getting called out in this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

So let's get right to it shall we?

Honorable mention number one goes to every kneegrow who tried to defend Rachel Dolezal's fake Black feminine alleged bisexual behind.

Her 15 minutes of fame have long since expired.  Time for you to have several seats and a nice steaming cup of shut the hell up.

Honorable mention number two is a group award for everybody in Conservaworld tapdancing around another domestic terrorist attack and hate crime committed by a Real American like them, avoiding any mention of the systemic racism and anti-Black rhetoric they inflame conservasheeple like Roof with, trying to blame the victims and spin it as an 'attack on Christianity'/

Oh yeah, it most certainly is.  Another example of the centuries old historic pattern of white supremacists attacking Black churches and the people who attend them.

Honorable mention number three is LMPD Sgt Dave Mulchler, the president of the local FOP branch in Louisville who stupidly sent out an open letter threatening retaliation against any citizen who questions police actions in the wake of a fatal police shooting that has inflamed local tensions

He was rebuked by Mayor Greg Fischer (D) hours after releasing it.

“I appreciate that emotions are high after the tragic event of last week,” he said. “This letter does not reflect the sentiments of me or the vast majority of Louisville’s citizens, who know that we are all on the same page, working to build safe and strong communities for all of our families. We are in this together — police who put their lives on the line to keep us safe while building strong relationships of trust, and community members, who must be engaged citizens involved in our efforts to create a compassionate, thriving Louisville. Rather than incite anger and distrust between the police and the community, my administration will continue to work to build those critical relationships and the trust they create.”

Of course, Mulchler is now zipping his lips and not saying jack to the media after opening mouth and inserting badge in it.

Honorable mention number four is another group award for the nine GOP Kansas legislators who filed a complaint against Valdenia Winn (D-Kansas City) an African-American legislator who called them out on their racist anti-immigrant legislation.

A special Uncle Ruckus Award goes to the two kneegrow Republicans who allowed themselves to be used as sellout human shields so the white Republicans would appear less racist for what they are trying to pull

Honorable mention number five is FOX Noise' Erick Erickson, who blamed the Wednesday terror attack at Emanuel AME Church on transgender people.

Honorable mention number six is Alveda King.  She was cooning it up on FOX Noise trying the blame the Charleston terror attack on legalized abortion.

Damn, isn't your 15 minutes up yet?

This week's winner is Pope Francis, who every time he takes one positive step forward, takes another two backwards by saying something jacked up

Once again the toxic anti-trans hatred Paul McHugh injected into the Vatican ranks reared its ugly head yesterday when he wrote as part of a 184 page encyclical that "transpeople should accept their God given bodies  and not seek to manipulate them."

Hey Your Transphobiness, don't know what McHugh has been telling you, but transsexuality is not a sin.  

That's also why medical professionals have called for society to stop attacking transpeople and embrace them as the church you head should be leading the way in doing, but tragically fail at.

And I accept my beautiful trans body that was created by God along with the millions of other transpeople on the planet who are sick and tired of your attacks on our humanity.

Since you are a man of science, why don't you consult with experts in the field of transsexuality instead of a discredited quack?   And yes, I'll remind you that trans people are part of the diverse mosaic of human life

Shut Up Fool Awards-Women's World Cup Edition

The FIFA Women's World Cup kicked off the expanded 24 team field with group stage matches at several sites across Canada. 

Team USA has a chance tonight to punch their ticket to the Round of 16 with a win later tonight in Winnipeg while the host Canadians have a little more work to do to get there after their draw with New Zealand last night.  

In addition to Team USA playing tonight, it's Friday, and that means it's time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards, 

It's time to decide what fool, fools or group of fools are exhibiting championship level ignorance, get red carded for arrogance, and yellow carded for stupidity.

Honorable mention number one is Rachel Dolezal.   Unless a DNA proves otherwise, she's a white woman who appropriated Black culture and misrepresented herself as a Black woman for her own personal gain.   This sensationalist conversation blew a needed conversation on police brutality aimed at Black teens off the front pages  and, has also derailed the conversation happening on trans issues.

Honorable mention number two a group award for Keith Ablow and FOX Noise for get this, blaming President Obama for a white McKinney. TX cop aiming police brutality at Black teens.||

Honorable mention number three is Anne Lamott, who let loose a transphobic comment aimed at Caitlyn Jenner fly that demonstrated her profound ignorance of trans lives an increasing medical evident that genitalia doesn't neatly line up with the gender identity between your ears.

Honorable mention number four is Ben Carson for continuing to channel his inner Uncle Ruckus and say more stupid stuff to enhance his 2015 SUF Of The Year candidacy.

And FYI Uncle Ben, contrary to your ignorant ill formed opinion, LGBT rights are international human rights.
