Shut Up Fool Awards- Post 2014 Midterm Election Edition

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Ky., center, speaks to reporters on Capitol Hill after a weekly policy luncheon. From left are, Sen. Roy Blunt, McConnell, Sen. John Thune, Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn of Texas. | AP PhotoWell peeps, the election didn't go the way we wished it to go, and we now have to deal with when the 114th Congress starts in January the specter of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

For all you liberal progressive people who didn't vote, for all you didn't do on Election Day, the new GOP majorities on Capitol Hill are the result.

So when they gleefully start repealing the 20th century over the next two years, don't look at me because I and other peeps tried to warn you what was coming if they got their paws on the Senate in addition to having control of the House.

And I'll be saying, "I told you so."

Okay, so while I'm traveling to the Windy City for the Representing Trans* Symposium that's happening on the University of Chicago campus tomorrow (and hope to see you Chicago peeps while I'm there) let's get to my usual Friday 'bidness' of calling out the fool, fools or groups of fools who deserve to get lambasted for their arrogance, stupidity, and jaw dropping WTF level ignorance.

Honorable mention number one goes to 'errbody' eligible to vote in the 2014 midterms who came up with whatever weak ass excuse NOT to do so.

I'll will repeat this again:  If you're eligible to vote, there is NO acceptable excuse for sitting out an election.   Every rime the GOP majority does something that you don't like and you start complaining about it, the first question out of my mouth will be "did you vote in the 2014 midterms?"   If you didn't you'll be getting cussed out and the sideeye from me, so get ready for it.

Honorable mention number two goes to every white woman in Texas who voted for Greg Abbott.  Texas Black and Latina women voted for Wendy Davis, and you voted for your oppressor instead of one of your own?

Honorable mention number three goes to Anthony in San Diego, who called C-SPAN as part of the post mortem over the 2014 midterm and let loose the real reason why the GOP won the midterms: racist hatred of President Obama.

Thanks for giving me the ammo to prove once again that the Republican Party and the conservative movement is nothing more than the political arm of white supremacy.

Honorable mention number four goes to all the  Democrats who failed to run on the ACA, societal fairness. and embrace President Obama.  Gee, how did that work out for you on election night?

I can tell you that those House and Senate candidates who did embrace Democratic values and didn't run from the president won Tuesday night.

Honorable mention number five is Joe Rogan, who once again ignored the mounting evidence and went back to transphobically bashing Fallon Fox.

Joe , you owe my talented WMMA homegirl an apology which I suspect will come the same time that Ronda Rousey's transphobic behind gets into the cage with Fallon

Honorable mention number six is a local fool in Houston Pastor Willie Davis, who while christopimpin' for his GOP massas opened his mouth and said the HERO would take away rights from heterosexuals?

Conservakneegrow please!  Pay very close attention.  One of the 15 categories the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance bans discrimination on is RELIGION.   But I guessed you missed that point while you were kissing Dave Welch's and Max Miller's behinds.
 .
This week's Shut Up Fool winner I go straight (pun intended) to New York City for in Pastor James David Manning, the head of the ATLAH hate church there who is making a late run for the 2014 Shut Up Fool of the Year.

He gets this week's nod for a double shot of homophobic coonery and buffoonery.

First he parted his lips to say that 'upscale sodomites' make Starbucks a 'Ground Zero for Ebola'.

Then Uncle Ruckus, er Pastor Manning took another shot at Starbucks by claiming their lattes are flavored with 'sodomite's semen'.   Hmm, wonder if the good pastor is doing wide stances in his office, because he sure does spend an awful lot of time and what little brainpower he has fixated on the LGBT community.

Any takers on how soon the cease and desist defamation legal papers should be hitting the ATLAH World Church doors from Starbucks?

Pastor James Manning, shut up fool.

Shut Up Fool Awards-Halloween 2014 Edition

Happy Halloween!

In addition to today being the Trans National Holiday, today is also the last day of early voting in Texas.   You have until 7 PM CDT/MDT to get your electoral business handled at your choice of ealy voting polling stations, so get to it.  If  you don't handle it today, then please do so on Tuesday.

As for why I called Halloween the Trans* National Holiday, it's because once upon a time elaborate drag balls were held in New York, Chicago and other locales that offered cash prizes to those persons who pulled off looking convincingly masculine or feminine.   It's also the day the CD community circles on their calendars and plans with the efficiency of a military operation to let their femme selves soar.

It's also time for another edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.   It's time to call out the peeps who exhibited scary ignorance, mind boggling arrogance, and spooky levels of stupidity.

So let's get to it.

Honorable mention number one is to all the idiots who have aimed nastiness and rape threats at Shoshana Roberts, the NY woman who had a hidden camera follow her in the Big Apple as she got catcalled.

Honorable mention number two goes to Pat Robertson, who launched a double play of ignorance. First her stuck his nose in Houston human rights 'bidness' and claimed that God will punish Houston for supporting militant homosexuals'.  Translation: He's pissed because HERO passed and tio the on the ministers suing to stop it got subpoenaed.

Pat, you can kiss my militant transsexual azz.   Your conservagod has a lousy track record when it comes to smiting your perceived enemies anyway.

The second part of that ignorance double play came from him calling gay people 'terrorists'

Hey, the only peeps I see acting like terrorists in this country are you good 'christian' ammosexuals  killing abortion doctors, bombing clinics, pining for the return of the Confederacy and calling for LGBT people to be exterminated in camps.

Honorable mention number three is Mary Forbes, who showed her ignorance and her white sheets when she tweeted this in reaction to the news the Black Panther movie had (finally)been greenlighted by Marvel.

Um Mary,' KKK Man' was already made in 1915, and it's called Birth of A Nation..

And FYI, the Black Panther comic book and T'Challa predated the October 1966 founding of the Black Panther Party For Self Defense by Booby Seale and Huey P. Newton ,but not the 761st Tank Battalion of World War II fame. I

T'Challa was also the first Black superhero comic book character.

Honorable mention number four is 'errbody' who gets busted for appearing in blackface this Halloween.   Let me say this once again so there is no doubt where I stand when it pertains to blackface:

"My people and my culture are not costumes for you put on for your or your people's entertainment and amusement. And when we call your azz out about it, you don't get to tell me as the offended POC party what is and isn't offensive or to 'lighten up' about it."
-TransGriot , October 28,2013

Honorable mention number five is Chris Christie, who tried to fan the GOP election year flames over Ebola, quarantined a health care worker against her will returning from the West African hot zone for the virus and got burned for it.

Honorable mention number six are the Southern Baptists, who unveiled in Nashville what their anti-trans hate agenda they agreed on at their Baltimore convention back in June is going to sound and look like in practice.

This week's Shut Up Fool Winner who also gets an Uncle Ruckus Award is Mychal Massie.  This cookie- chomping kneegrow claimed in a Wing Nut Daily post that Blacks were better off in slavery and Jim  Crow segregation than they are in the second decade of the 21st Century.

Photo Credit: "What Black Men Think" Production Still

Excuse me for a moment while I double over in laughter.

If this post was supposed to convert us to conservatism, it did the opposite.  All you did was reinforce mine and the perceptions of many thoughtful people in our ranks that conservatism is the political arm of white supremacy, and you Black conservatives just need to have several seats and a sweet tea flavored glass of STFU.

Mr T, take it away.

Shut Up Fool Awards-CONCACAF Women's Championship Edition

The group stage of the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship is over and has now been whittled down to the four soccer teams in the semifinals to be played at PPL Park in Chester, PA.

Three will finish this weekend making plans to travel to the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada next summer, while the fourth place squad will have to battle Ecuador in a playoff for a tournament berth.

While Jamaica's Reggae Girlz failed in their quest to qualify, there was another Caribbean based squad who has a chance to make the history that Jamaica was trying to accomplish in Trinidad and Tobago.

If Trinidad and Tobago wins the match, they will become the first ever Caribbean based women's team to qualify for a World Cup.

They will face off against Costa Rica in one semifinal match today, while the other is a rematch between FIFA world number one ranked Team USA and Mexico.

Four years ago Mexico pinned a stunning 2-1 loss on Team USA in the semis that forced them to go the playoff route to qualify for the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany.   Will lightning strike twice or will Team USA avenge their only defeat in CONCACAF qualifying?

Yeah yeah, I know what today is.  It's Friday, and you loyal readers are ready for another edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards, not me talking about soccer.

Okay so let's get to it shall we?

Honorable mention number one is James O'Keefe.   This conservafool is at it again trying to manufacture evidence in Colorado that attempts to 'prove' voter fraud as defined by the GOP exists.

Dude, why are you committing voter fraud to try to prove it exists?   Because you and your conservafool friend know that the only reason you have these unjust laws in the first place is to keep people from voting you don't like.

Honorable mention number two is FOX Noise fembot Kimberly Guilfoyle, who parted her lips to say that young women are too busy with 'Tinder' to understand voting.

Honorable mention number three is Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), who admitted the GOP voter suppression agenda for 2016.

Honorable mention number four is Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX).  Gohmert Pyle continues his push for 2014 Shut Up Foll of the year by this time saying in a recent radio interview that gay serving in the military would need massages that will make them vulnerable to terrorism.

Um naw, that isn't an The Onion spoof headline.  Somebody in the Tyler-Longview area please run against this fool and get him out of Congress.

Honorable mention number five is Rep Don Young (R-AK) who blames public benefits for causing suicides.

Ooohkay, .Don.

Honorable mention number six is Mama June of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo fame, who got the family's TLC reality show canceled because she's dating a convicted child molester.

WTF?  Mama June tried to deny she was, but obviously TLC didn't believe her.   TLC 'had already shot another season of shows and it was one of their more profitable ones, so they are taking a fiscal hit in this situation.   I never watched the show anyway, but damn, what the hell was she thinking?

This week's Shut Up Fool Award winner is Rep. Steve King (R-IA).

Just when I start to get despondent about the plethora of elected GOP idiots roaming my home state, here comes Steve King to lift my spirits and let me know that Texas doesn't have a lock on Republicans saying stupid crap on a regular basis.

King was interviewed for a local Iowa newspaper and in it opined that 'gays won't make it to heaven'

Rep. Steve King (R-IA)
"I would say that what was a sin 2,000 years ago is a sin today, and we need to stick to that principle,” King said. “I’ll just say that what was a sin 2,000 years ago is a sin today, and people that were condemned to hell 2,000 years ago, I don’t expect to meet them should I make it to heaven. So let’s stick with that principle.”

Dude, what make you so sure that you'll be going to heaven to find out whether there are rainbow flags flying there or not?

Judge not, lest ye be judged.   And Rep. Steve King, shutteth up fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards-Let's Get Ready To Early Vote In TX Edition

October 20 is rapidly approaching, and as soon as the early voting polling place near me opens I'll be there ready to cast my ballot in this crucial midterm election.

Oh yeah, still pissed off I missed the 2013 Houston mayoral election because it took me a ridiculous nine months to get my Texas driver's license due to the voter suppression law and other BS.

You know what they say about revenge, and the nanosecond I get to the eSlate machine at my fave early voting polling  I''ll be exacting mine on everything that has an R behind its name from the top to the bottom of the ballot.

Since it's Friday, as visions of straight ticket voting are dancing in my head, let us handle our usual TransGriot 'bidness' of calling out all the fools that revealed themselves this week.

Honorable mention number one is Stacey Dash for cooning it up on FOX Noise and reciting the latest spin on the tired conservanegro Democrat Plantation line.by claiming the Democratic Party has a plantation mentality.

Oh really Stacey?  And you are Exhibit A of the plantation mentality of the GOP, FOX Noise and the conservafool movement by willingly sell out to parrot the same racist talking points as other FOX Fembots, except you don't have blonde hair.

Honorable mention number two is NH state Rep. Steve Vallancourt (R) for proving the GOP War on Women is alive along with the frat boy mentality in conservafool ranks.   Vallancourt injected misogyny into the US House race there by claiming in a blog post last week the incumbent, Rep, Ann Kuster (D) would lose because she is 'ugly as sin' and 'drag queens look better than her'.

Have you looked in the mirror lately, Steve?

Honorable mention number three goes to TX Attorney Gen. Greg Abbott.   After he and the conservafool media whined for days about the devastating ad Wendy Davis unleashed on him with an empty wheelchair in it calling him out on his hypocrisy, One of Greg's aides stuck his foot in his mouth and dissed a  disabled person speaking at a Davis rally by referring to him as a 'prop' .

He also gets called out for claiming the gay marriage ban reduces out-of wedlock births.

Did that tree falling on you damage some brain cells, too?

Keep it up Greg, and I will get my wish of seeing Wendy Davis inaugurated as my next governor.

Honorable mention number four is NC senate nominee Thom Tillis (R) who equated welfare with reparations.  Naw fool, not even close.   A $150,000 check hitting my mailbox for my ancestors 246 years of unpaid labor and the brutality visited upon them is reparations.

Honorable mention number fiver is a group award to all the conservafools coming up with bizarro world conspiracy theories in the wake of Ebola getting a toehold here in the US.

Peep Morgan Brittany's howler.   And is it me, or does it seem that all the washed up conservative leaning actresses get pundit contracts at FOX noise lately?

Honorable mention number six is the junior senator from Alberta,  Ted Cruz, who is trying to repeat as SUF of the Year and stuck his nose in the subpoena kerfluffle the Pastors Council is trying to stir up.

Mayor Parker should be ashamed of issuing subpeonas to those human rights oppressing christopimps?  Naw Ted, you should be ashamed of opening your mouth and having something stupid frequently come out of it.

Honorable mention number seven is John Grisham, who made the problematic comment in a recent interview that men who watch child pornr are not all pedophiles.

This week's Sgut Up Fool Winner is Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX).    As part of the GOP efforts to 'scurr' their voters into heading to the polls November 4,, they are trying to politicize the Ebola outbreak

Gohmert Pyle opened his mouth and let something stupid fly out of it once again when he said on Glenn Beck's radio show that the Dallas nurses infected by Ebola were part of the Democrats 'War on Women'

FYI Louie, the only War on Women going on is the ongoing one your white male dominated party is conducting.

Louie Gohmert speaks to WNDWill somebody in the Tyler area with some common sens and light years more intelligence please run in his congressional district and spare our state the embarrassment of having this fool in our congressional delegation?

Rep Louie Gohmert, take it from here Mr. T...

Shut Up Fool Awards-Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend 2014 Edition

My TransGriot readers come from many countries, but the top one for visitors have been the Canadians.

This is Thanksgiving weekend for my north of the border readers, and they will be getting their grub on and giving thanks for all their blessings for the year on Monday.

One of their blessings is that they don't have as many off the charts right wing fools in their national political circles as we have to deal with on our side of the border.

So lets get right to it.   Let's find out what fool, fools or group of fools get called out in this weeks edition.

Honorable mention number one is the Republican Party.   They have been in Blame Obama mode attacking the administration about various issues and the organizations tasked to deal with those problems, but conveniently forget to mention that they cut the funding to all those organizations so they have less money to do their jobs.

Honorable mention number two is Charlotte Lucas, who let out a Facebook rant in which she proclaimed she was 'sick of minorities running this country'.

Your white sheet is showing Charlotte.   Yeah, I'm sick of minorities like the GOP 1% running this country, too and I'm going to do something about it on Election Day.

Honorable mention number three is Cornel West.   He's still hatin' on President Obama, and still bitter about not being invited to either inauguration.

Honorable mention number four is Reince Priebus, who is still clueless as the RNC chair and praised hatemonger Tony Perkins as being 'right on marriage

More like right wing, Reince.   And news flash, the GOP War on Same Sex Marriage is over.   Didn't you get that memo from the SCOTUS this week? .

Honorable mention number five is Annie Lennox for engaging in Beyonce bashing.   And how many Grammys do you have again compared to Bey Bey?   Sit your ass down somewhere.

Diana Veiga said it best about Lennox's feminism policing.

'This need for white women to police Black women’s definition and brand of feminism is troublesome, bothersome, and disturbing,” she wrote. “It does nothing more than widen the chasm that already exists between white and Black feminists. What exactly are the depths of feminism Lennox is talking about? How does BeyoncĂ© not represent them? And what does Lennox think BeyoncĂ© is missing?”

Honorable mention number six is Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX).   This contender for the 2014 Shut Up Fool of The Year Award parted his lips to say that the POTUS just sent 3000 troops to catch Ebola and die.   They are headed there on a humanitarian mission.

Gohmert Pyle needed to shut up a long time ago.

Honorable mention number seven is Rick Wiles, who continued the TeaGOP Ebola themed talking points on his radio show.  He parted his loud and wrong lips to say that "Ebola could solve America's problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography and abortion".

One major gaping hole in your theory.  So far the only Americans to get it have been Christians doing medical missionary work.

The Canadian Jive Turkey winner is the Canadian Senate for stalling the passage of C-279 for over a year

This week's Shut Up Fool award winner is Todd Kincannon.   Todd let loose this racist series of tweets that proposed that people with Ebola be put to death, .

Todd Kincannon says he has every right to make inflammatory statements on Twitter like the ones he tweeted about Trayvon Martin during the Super Bowl.

And y'all wanna know why I despise the Tea Party movement and call them the Tea Klux Klan

Todd Kincannon, shut up fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards-Countdown To Election Day Edition

It's the first Friday in October, and that means the clock is rapidly ticking toward October 20 and the opening day of early voting in Texas for this critical election

I'm damned sure planning to be there bright and early to handle my civic business, and hope you are planning to do the same thing

Speaking of handling business, time to get to handling our usual Friday business of calling out all the fool, fools or group of fools who so richly deserve it.

It's this Friday's edition of the Shut Up Fool Awards.

Honorable mention number one is the NFL.  Once again they stumbled into another PR issue when a Muslim NFL player was flagged for 'excessive celebration'  when he bowed in prayer after a pick six  interception return in Monday's 41-14 demolition of the New England Patriots by Kansas City.

After having to watch an endless parade of Tim Tebow celebrations and his and other Christian NFL players ad nauseum proselytizing, why y'all have a problem with a Muslim player doing what y'all have done for a decade or more?   15 yard flag on the play for hypocrisy

Honorable mention number two goes to the Minnesota Star Tribune for printing a full page transbaiting ad from a fearmongering anti-trans org in the run up to a decision that would approve a trans human rights policy for Minnesota students.  .

Honorable mention number three is Bruce Braley, whose comment slamming Chuck Grassley may flip the Iowa senate race and possibly imperil the Dems chances of holding the US Senate

Video has surfaced of Braley calling Grassley (R) at a fundraiser a few months ago “a farmer from Iowa who never went to law school.”   Not a smart thing to say when your state's major business is farming and many of the voters there are survey says, farmers..

Honorable mention number four is the New York Post for its disgusting heading heralding the birth of Chelsea Clinton's first child as 'another liberal crybaby'

When will you media conservafools grow up?  Or are you in a perpetual state of cognitively impaired adolescence?    But then again, what else is new for a Rupert Murdoch owned newspaper?

Honorable mention number five to Jessica Duggar for blaming the Holocaust on the theory of evolution.   Maybe you need to dye your hair blonde and audition to become a Fox Noise fembot.
You've definitely demonstrated through your recent actions and statements you're intellectually challenged enough to be one.

id you not learned your lesson when you openBarney Frank attacked the head of the Human Rights Campaign for apologising to trans groupsThis week's Shut Up Fool honoree is former Rep Barney Frank

In a recent GAVoice interview, the Purple One  slammed HRC Prez Chad Griffin for his SCC apology to the trans community, then tried to pinkwash his being a trans oppressor by lying saying 'trans people don't have rights because we 'refused to lobby' and 'the votes weren't there' to pass a trans inclusive ENDA.

Interesting that the votes were there in the Senate to pass a trans inclusive ENDA last year.

You need to come clean about that transphobia Barney.   And oh yeah, Shut up fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards-Voting Is Sexy And Important Edition

Time flies, especially as you get older.   Summer has turned into fall on my side of the planet, which promises relief from the hot, steamy weather typical of my beloved hometown this time of year.

But one thing never changes.  As Mr T so eloquently stated, fools are everywhere, and no time is that more true than during the runup to a major election.

Hope you peeps are registered and planning to handle you electoral business and vote November 4.

And yes, from now until that date, I plan on hounding you so you don't forget how important this upcoming election is and how vital it is for you to participate in it.

And only your electoral participation can prevent right wing jerks from getting elected to public office.

And yes, since today is Friday, time for me to do my weekly duty and call out the fool, fools and groups of fools that have so richly earned this week's awards.

So lets get to it shall we?

Honorable mention number one is Tamikka Brents.    After she bumped her gums spreading transphobic shade about Fallon Fox and how she couldn't wait to fight her, after Fallon beat that azz back on September 13 in a 2:17 TKO, she whined about the butt kicking and claimed fighting  transfeminine fighters 'isn't fair'.

Must be the concussion talking.   My suggestion to you Tamikka is to stop flapping your gums and get into the gym and do more training so you don't sustain more beatdowns like the one you took from someone you claim couldn't fight.

Honorable mention number two is Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R)  who claims HB 2 would have saved Joan Rivers life.

Um naw homes, don't even try it.    Joan Rivers was not having an abortion, she was at an ambulatory surgery center having plastic surgery under the care of a doctor with admittance privileges to Mt Sinai Hospital.

And every Stevie Wonder can see that your HB 2 law is not about saving lives but closing abortion clinics.

Honorable mention number three is Kevin Sorbo, who bizarrely claimed on FOX Noise that the NFL won't fire anyone over the domestic abuse scandal roiling the league because of get this, Benghazi.

Last time I checked, there were no NFL franchises in Libya.

Honorable mention number four is a group award for the National Center for Transgender Equality.  NCTE recently put out a call asking trans persons of color for their discrimination stories that they will videotape and use to solicit funds for their organization.  And what will they compensate the New York transpeeps they ask to share their stories with?   Subway fare.

Typical of NCTE and other Gay Inc orgs.   They want our POC faces in their photos and videos, want to use our stories to fundraise off of, but won't hire transpeople of color to work in their predominately white organizations.

Honorable mention number five is for Vinny Minchillo, a GOP operative who is spearheading a campaign to remind everyone that Republicans Have Feelings Too.

Really?  Republicans have feelings? Can't tell by their current actions, policies and hateful rhetoric buttressing them.   Those reprehensible multiyear actions confirm to me and 'errbody' else that isn't white, male, rich and right wing 'christian' that the GOP is nothing more than the political arm of white supremacy. And Vinny, you have a serious problem as a party if you have to cut ads to remind people you are human after all the racist, hateful crap your party has said, done and proposed in your legislative policies.

Honorable mention number six is New York Times writer Alessandra Stanley, for writing that jacked up Shonda Rhimes article that not only called her  an 'angry Black woman', but called Viola Davis 'less classically beautiful'.

Black Twitter calls her azz out in 5...4...3...2...1

Honorable mention number seven is Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who continues to live up to the dumb blonde stereotype ever since she migrated over from The View to become a FOX fembot.

Liz parted her lips on Fox and Friends earlier in the week to state that all people should pass a citizenship test before they are allowed to vote.   Guess she was asleep in history class when they discussed Jim Crow segregation and the use of literacy tests to disenfranchise African-American voters.

JCH_at_Podium_croppedThis week's Shut Up Fool winner is Pastor John Hagee.

A video recently surfaced in which the San Antonio based christopimp is quoted based on a misinterpretation of 2 Thessalonians currently in vogue with conservafools.   This verse is used in conservaworld  to justify the income inequality that blossomed on their watch.

Hagee was quoted as saying that 'nasty welfare recipients don't deserve to eat live

Hypocritical azzholes like you don't deserve to be called Christians.

Pastor John Hagee, shut up fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards-Scotland's Staying Put Edition

No supporters celebrate their win in the Scottish referendum at the Royal Highland Center on Sept. 19 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Reports state that enough votes against Scottish independence have been counted to ensure victory for the Stay Together Campaign in the referendum, according to election officials. EPA/ANDY RAIN ORG XMIT: ARA54While we were sleeping last night, across The Pond Scotland was counting votes for a referendum that if it had passed, resulted in Scotland leaving the United Kingdom and becoming an independent nation.

The votes have been counted, and by a 55%-45% margin Scottish voters decided to stay in the UK for now.

But the nervous pols in London along with financiers in Edinburgh and London are breathing a sigh of relief.

But there is no relief from our usual Friday activity of calling out our favorite fool, fools, or group of fools, and lately, business has been booming.

So let's get started.

Honorable mention number one goes to Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R).   He's trying to do everything partisanly possible and failing to keep a withdrawn Democratic Senate candidate Chad Taylor on the ballot so that endangered conservafool  Senator Pat Roberts (definitely no relation) can hold on to his seat.

With the Dem in the race, Roberts narrowly wins.  Without him, he loses to surging independent candidate Greg Orman and screws the GOP's changes of taking the Senate.

After telling the Kansas Supreme Court they needed to make a decision yesterday on thi case so ballots could be printed to send to the troops, when the decision, didn't go his way, suddenly that deadline wasn't so rigid.

He also demanded that the Kansas Democratic Party replace the withdrawn Dem senate candidate.  You know what the Kansas Dems are going to tell hs teabagginbg behind.

Honorable mention number two goes to the US Congress, for going into recess for the next seven weeks to campaign as we have serious issues facing this country to deal with.

This week's winner is a group award for the NFL, who had another player get busted on domestic violence issues along with the still inconsistent levels of punishment meted out to other accused or convicted of domestic violence charges as the calls for NFL: commissioner Roger Goodell's resignation grow louder and sponsors start to drop out.

NFL, shut up fools

Shut Up Fool Awards- Fallon's Fighting Edition

Our fave WMMA fighter Fallon Fox will be headed to Springfield, IL to take on Tamikka Brents as a co-main event bout in the Capital City Cage Wars

Should be a fun bout, hope Fallon emerges victorious and looking forward to seeing the video from it.

It's Friday, and y'all know what that means.  It's time to for you to discover what fool, fools or group of fools succumb to me knocking out their hypocrisy,   putting a headlock on their ignorance, dropkicking their arrogance, and putting the submission hold on their stupidity.

Yep people, it's time for this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

Honorable mention number one is a group award for the Georgia Republican Party.  They are scared to death that Jason Carter and Michelle Nunn on the top of the November ballot will motivate Democratic voters to come to the polls in droves and take away the governor's chair and a US Senate seat from them.

So what do they do?  Scream about 'voter fraud', racistly complain about Black voters and pull out the GOP voter suppression card.  Did you fools not learn anything from 2012 that the more you try o suppress our votes the higher our turnout grows?     Guess you'll need to learn that lesson again in November.

Honorable mention number two is Joan Rivers, in one final nekulturny parting shot from beyond the grave, left instructions to ban Adele, Chelsea Handler and First Lady Michelle Obama from her funeral.

Yeah right, I'm sure all three of those ladies are losing sleep over missing your funeral.

Honorable mention number three to Bill Maher for his Islamophobia.  Yeah, Like fundie Christians and other fundamentalists of all stripes haven't committed acts of terrorism in the name of their faith.

Honorable mention number four is a group award to FOX Noise for thinking domestic violence is funny.

Honorable mention number five is Mars Hill megachurch founder Marc Driscoll.  He was forced to close several branches of his Washington state based church and take a leave of absence for his anti-woman and anti-gay views.

He caused major controversy that messed with the cash flow of his christobidness by referring to women as 'penis homes'.  Misogyny wrapped in prayer is still misogyny.

And I'll bet you vote Republican, too.

Honorable mention number six is Ray Fournier.  The Wake County, NC teacher put his job in jeopardy when he wrote an anti-public education screed in a homeschooling magazine that violated Godwin's Law.

“I warned them about the spiritual dangers of public education, but sadly they ignored my warning,” he wrote. “It was as if their daughters where [sic] placed inside a spiritual gas chamber. It didn’t take long for the poison to take effect. Within a year’s time, one of them even became a lesbian.”

He apologized, but some parents in the Fuqay-Varina School District are still calling for his resignation or firing.

Hey Ray here's a thought.  If you don't like teaching in public schools, do the right thing for your students and leave.

Honorable mention number seven goes to Michael Moore, who because he's pissed he isn't deferentially liberal enough for him, opened his mouth to say that history will only remember President Obama as a Black president.

Naw Mike, history will remember President Obama for saving the auto industry, stopping our freefall into a second Great Depression, ending DADT, ending the Iraq War as promised, passing the Affordable Care Act, ending DADT, being the best POTUS on transgender rights in American history, getting Osama bin Laden, nominating Sonia Sotomayor to the SCOTUS....Did I forget anything?

And he did all that while facing Massive Resistance 2.0 from the Teapublicans

Honorable mention number eight is a group award for the NFL, for totally making a mess of this Rice domestic violence form the too short suspension to now apparently being caught lying about receiving the more vicious tape of him throwing a punch at his wife that wold have made Mike Tyson proud.

Honorable mention number nine is christopimp James David Manning of the virulently anti-gay ATLAH Missionary Church in Harlem, NY.   He parted his lips to say Michael Sam would be marrying a nine year old

Nope pastor,I think Mr. Sam's current main squeeze is way older than age nine.

Ben Stein speaks to Fox NewsThis week's Shut up Fool winner is Ben Stein for parting his lips to say this jaw dropping statement on where else, FOX Noise.

'There was a time, even in my youth … when lynchings of African Americans were not that incredibly rare. Now the lynchings are of the police, and it’s just an outrage!'

WTF? When I start seeing police officers strung up from trees for just minding their own business, then that jacked up racist statement you made will have a sliver of credibility.

Until then Ben Stein, shut up fool.

Shut Up Fool Awards-NFL Kickoff Weekend Edition

The 2014 NFL season kicked off last night with the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks opening at home.   After unveiling their championship banner, they subsequently opened up a can of whoop azz on the Green Bay Packers 36-16.

The scary part for the rest of the NFL is Seattle's offense with a healthy Percy Harvin looks even more dangerous and their defense is even more imposing when the opposition doesn't even attempt to throw a pass in All-pro cornerback Richard Sherman's direction

Speaking of shutdown corners, it's Friday, and it's time for the usual Friday 'bidness' of blitzing ignorance, sacking stupidity, and shutting down head scratching hypocrisy.

Let's get started with this week's edition of the TransGriot Shut Up Fool awards.

Honorable mention number one goes to Attorney Gen. Greg Abbott (R-TX) for pulling out of a governor's debate with Wendy Davis.   What's wrong Greg?  'Scurred' she's going to beat the crap out of you?  Or is your pulling out related to the fact you don't want to explain all the problematic issues of your 11 year tenure as AG in front of the entire Lone Star State?

Honorable mention number two is a group award for FOX Noise fembot Anna Kooiman, Anne-Marie Murrell,
Dr. Gina Loudon and Morgan Brittany for this feminism bashing Fox & Friends segment about What (GOP voting) Women Really Want

Yep, looks like they visited the Stepford Salon and had the GOP cranium rinse before going on air.

Honorable mention number three is Phyllis Schafly.  She crawled out of her crypt to utter the asinine statement that women can avoid rape by focusing on marriage and not careers

And had you taken your own unsolicited advice and focused on your marriage, Ms Schafly, the ERA would be part of the US Constitution and our country would be a much better more progressive place to live.

Honorable mention number four is conservanegro columnist Walter Williams.   He earned an Uncle Ruckus Award for writing a jacked up column comparing gay people to smokers and suggested they should pay more for life insurance..

I pity the George Mason University students forced to take his economic class

Honorable mention number five is Duck Suck Dynasty's Phil Robertson, who claimed he was as much a homophobe as Jesus was.

Oh really?  That's news to Biblical scholars.  You're actually a raving homophobe because Jesus had NOTHING to say about the subject of homosexuality, while it seems as though every time you part your lips, something homophobic and racist comes out of it.

Honorable mention number six is Rafael Cruz.  The Father of the junior senator from Alberta let something else racist fly out of his mouth in stating
'the average black' is just too stupid to understand that the minimum wage is a Very Bad Thing.

Naw Rafael, the 'average Black' is way too smart to fall for your conservative bull feces.  It's why we ain't voting for anything with an 'R' behind their name (including your son) unless it benefits our community a la Mississippi and  the strategic votes cast last July for Thad Cochran to help him win a GOP runoff battle with a neo-Confederate teabagger.

This week's Shut Up fool winner is Cee Lo Green..  He let some asinine tweets fly on Twitter concerning rape in the wake of a court case, and that giant sucking sound you hear is his career imploding.

CeeLo Green, 2011.

Green pleaded
no contest recently to one felony count of giving a woman the drug Ecstasy at a dinner in 2012.  He was also accused by the woman in question of sexually assaulting her, but prosecutors concluded at an October 2013 hearing there was insufficient evidence for a charge.

Green then tweeted this on August 31:

"If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent," he tweeted in a post that's since been deleted but was preserved by a Twitter user. "Women who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!"

He deleted the tweets and attempted to apologize, but the damage has been done.  His TBS reality show, The Good Life.was canceled and he was dropped from a September 20 United States Navy-sponsored concert in Washington, D.C.

Better set aside some cash to find a good publicist to clean this mess up.

And oh yeah, Cee Lo Green, shut up fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards-Aww Mo'Ne's Gone Edition

Was hoping I get to see the remarkable story of Mo'Ne Davis continue to play out in this year';s edition of the Little League World Series, but that was not to be.

Her Taney LL Dragons from Philly exited the LLWS one game short of the US Championship with a 6-5 elimination loss to the Jackie Robinson West LL team from Chicago.

It is they, and not Mo'Ne and company who will face the unbeaten squad from Las Vegas' Mountain Ridge LL for the US Championship.tomorrow.   The US winner will face the International Championship winner between South Korea and Japan.

It's Friday, and y'all know what that means.  It's Shut Up Fool Awards day.    My fools once again runneth over this week, and it's time to determine who struck singles of outright lies, doubled up on the falsehoods, tripled on the jaw dropping ignorance, hit home runs of hypocrisy and struck out in common decency

Let's get started with this week's SUF Awards shall we?

Honorable Mention number one is a group award to the Westboro Baptist Church .  They claim they're going to Iraq to protest ISIS.   Seriously?   After all the anti-Islamic things that the late Daddy Phred said?

I know these fools are selling woof tickets, but if they did, any bets on how long it would take for ISIS to snatch them off the Iraqi streets and behead them for crimes against Islam?

Honorable mention number two we'll stay international for in Spain's Senator Luz Elena Sanin, a member of the ruling Spanish conservafool party.   She opened mouth and inserted pumps to say that the reason for Spain's $1.3 trillion dollar debt is 'the gays'.

Word of political advice for you Senator.   Trying to imitate soon to be ex-Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is not a good look for you in Spain or internationally.

Honorable mention number three is the so far unknown TeaGOP staffer who wasted our time and tax dollars trolling Wikipedia to make transphobic edits of Laverne Cox's Wikipedia page and other transgender specific sites.

Another reason why the TeaGOP needs to lose control of the House November 4. Got too much time on their hands to hate.

Honorable mention number four is Mike Ditka.  Iron Mike parted his lips to level a conservablast at folks who want the racist nickname of the Washington NFL franchise changed by stating anyone who was in favor of that was a 'politically correct idiot.'

As one of my FB friends said on my page when they commented on it, maybe all of Mike Ditka's concussions are catching up to him.

Honorable mention number five is CNN's Rosemary Church, who did her best FAUX News fembot impression by asking why the oppressors  po-po's didn't use water cannons on the Ferguson, MO. protestors.

Birmingham, AL May 1963 ring a bell?    And you wonder why CNN's losing viewers.

Honorable mention number six is The Ferguson, MO PD for well, you know.......

Honorable mention number seven is Ferguson, MO mayor James Knowles, who claimed in an MSNBC interview with Tamron Hall there's no racial tensions in his city

Really?  When China, Egypt and the UN are calling your city out for its oppressive police tactics that have Palestinians tweeting tips to protestors on how to deal with tear gas and other tricks of the protest trade, you have a race problem.

Honorable mention number eight we stay in Missouri for in  Missouri RNC executive director Matt Wills.  He seems to think that the efforts to register Black voters in Ferguson are 'disgusting'

Why Matt, that's mighty white of you and so typical of your party to oppose the efforts of registering new non-white voters.you don't want to compete for.

Honorable mention number nine is Michelle Duggar.  The reality TV show personality was pressed into service to cut spots opposing the Fayetteville, AR city council's attempt to pass a nondiscrimination law that covered sexual orientation and gender identity.   And what tired trope did they use out the oppression playbook in those spots?   If you said transgender bathroom predators, give yourself a hand.

Despite trying to slime the trans community, in these commercials, the trans oppressor failed.   Fayetteville, AR, the home of the University of Arkansas, passed its inclusive law after 10 hours of testimony Wednesday on a 6-2 vote

That deserves a celebration Arkansas style.  Time to call those hogs!

Honorable mention number ten is for Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX).    Gov Goodhair got indicted

This week's Shut Up Fool winner is Missouri Lt. Gov Peter Kinder (R), who blew the GOP dog whistle on MSNBC's Ronan Farrow Daily show and stated we need Anglo-American justice' in Ferguson.

That racist 'Anglo-American justice' in this Michael Brown shooting and failure to arrest and prosecute Darren Wilson, the cop who executed Brown is why you have all the unrest and protests in Ferguson now.

Have several levels of seats in the TD Waterhouse Dome and shut the hell up, fool.

Shut Up Fool Awards-Epidemic Of Ignorance Edition

It's Friday and you longtime TransGriot readers know what that means.  It's time for what has become a popular feature on my blog, the TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

Every Friday I shine a bright spotlight on jaw dropping hypocrisy, outright lies and falsehoods, mind numbing stupidity, and stuff that makes you go WTF?

And in this week's edition of the Shut Up Fool Awards we had an epidemic if ignorance and SUF worthy activity break out.

Time to sort it all out and find out what fool, fools or group of fools deserve to get called out for their nekulturny behavior.

Honorable mention number one is Cathie Adams, the one time head of the Texas Republican Party who is now the head of the Texas Eagle Forum.   She advanced her theory for the so-called 'Texas Miracle'.    Texas' rejection of the 'homosexual agenda' is contributing to its growth.

Insert eyeroll here as you watch this video of Cathie flapping her loud and wrong gums.   People are moving to Texas for a lot of reasons, the oil boom and low taxes being the major ones, but probably not the homophobic one that Cathie cited.

Houston, the largest city in the state has elected to three terms as its mayor out lesbian Annise Parker and two gay councilmembers.  Dallas County has an out three term lesbian sheriff in Lupe Valdez and Judge Tonya Parker..   Texas is not as narrow minded as the Teapublicans (and non-Texans) think.

Honorable mention number two I'm going to keep it in the Lone Star State with a group award for Open Carry Texas.  These predominately white conservafool ammosexuals are arrogantly trying to hold an open carry event in Houston's historic African-American Fifth Ward neighborhood even though they have been repeatedly told by the residents they aren't wanted there and warned to stay out.

If these fools do continue, they may find out why Fifth Ward got the nickname The Bloody Fifth' back in the day..

Honorable mention number three is Erik Rush for comparing gay activists to ISIS.

Honorable mention number four is Rep. Lee Terry (R-NE) who voted against a minimum wage hike, but disingenuously parted his lips to complain about the fact he hasn't gotten a raise on his congressional pay since 2009.   he also collected his paycheck during the GOP instigated government shutdown.

Somebody in Nebraska please send his azz to the congressional unemployment line on November 4.

Honorable mention number five is Shepard Smith, who while reporting on the suicide of comic Robin Williams called him a coward.   Yo Shep, when is your behind going to come out of the closet since you went there?  Depression and mental health issues are also nothing to demonize people about.

Honorable mention number six is Gavin McInnes who is bucking for full time duty as a FOX noise contributor after unleashing a virulently transphobic screed on Thought Catalog

Honorable mention number seven is Rick Wiles, who parted his lips and unleashed the stupid on his radio show by stating that the Ebola virus could 'solve America's problems with athiesm and homosexiality.'

Naw Rick, it's false prophets like you that are driving people away from Christianity.

This week's Shut Up Fool Award winners are a joint award for the Ferguson, MO PD and the St Louis County PD.  After the execution fatal shooting of an unarmed Michael Brown last week, the Ferguson PD's SUF award winning efforts were to stonewall before mounting public pressure forced them to release the officer's name involved in it.  One FPD officer was caught on tape saying 'Bring it you f-ing animals"  on tape.   A racist comment denigrating the African-American community as 'feral' was attributed to FPD police chief's Thomas Jackson's wife.

They along with the St Louis County po-po's chose to wear riot gear, use tear gas, rubber bullets, and overwhelming paramilitary force in confronting peaceful African-American demonstrators.

Now the FPD is trying to demonize Mike Brown in the wake of releasing officer Darren Brown's name to the world.   Still doesn't change the fact that one of your officers fatally shot an unarmed man

Ferguson, MO PD and St Louis County PD,  shut up fools..

Shut Up Fool Awards-Moni's At Texas State Edition

Another Friday afternoon, another event.  At this moment I'm at the LBJ Student Center on the Texas State University campus having lunch and chilling with everyone who is attending the 6th annual Texas Transgender Nondiscrimination Summit

This TTNS is blazing a historic chapter for the event because for the first time ever it's being held on a college campus not located in the Houston metro area where it was founded by Josephine Tittsworth.

We're halfway through our first day of seminars, the keynote by Dr. Gage E. Paine, Vice President for Student Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and discussing how to get trans inclusive nondiscrimination policies ensconced in Texas school districts and on Texas college campuses

But I'm well aware that Friday means it's time to call out this week's fool, fools or group of fools worthy of this week's TransGriot Shut Up Fool Award.

So let's cut the jibber-jabber and get right to this Friday's SUF 'bidness'.

Honorable mention number one is a group award that goes to the 63 Texas Teapublican legislators who signed an amicus brief Monday arguing that recognition of gay marriage could lead to the legalization of incest, pedophilia and polygamy.

I don't even know where to start demolishing that one, but these boys doth protesteth too much.

Honorable mention number two I stay in the Lone Star State for in Rev. James Nash.  He's one of the kneegrow ministers HERO hatin' and cooning it up for Dave Welch.  During the Forward Times HERO town hall Monday night, mere moments after being told by Cassandra Thomas, a 30 year expert in the field, that the anti-trans bathroom predator scare tactic he and the hate pastors were using were false, he tried to push the lie once again and got smacked down by the assembled crowd for it.

Christopimping ain't easy, huh Rev. Nash?

Honorable mention number three gos to Richmond, CA city councilmember Corkey BoozĂ©.   Home gets an honorable mention because he's regularly hatin' on Richmond's openly lesbian vice mayor Jovanka Beckles.

His reason?  He doesn't like her 'lifestyle'.  Mr. BoozĂ© also takes it a nekulturny step further by having shills in the council chamber audience regularly come to meetings to scream anti-gay insults and yell "filth" at her.   It's getting so bad the Richmond City Council is considering enacting a six month ban on people who disrupt council meetings.

When is your next election to remove this hater from council?

Honorable mention number four is Mr. Watts' least favorite state legislator in Jonathan Strickland.  Seems the Tea Klux Klan member Mike, Stacey and yours truly made look stupid on Facebook didn't need our help this time.   He's writing legislation (he can write legislation?) to ban the state of Texas from paying for the surgeries of transgender inmates.

Even if the GOP manages to hold on to control of the state Lege and passes it next January, the 8th Amendment to the constitution will invalidate it.   And we may end up with a governor who will veto it.

Honorable mention number five goes to Milton Wolf.   The Kansas Tea Klux Klan member and doctor threw his cousin under the bus by invoking Godwin's Law and comparing him to Hitler.    .A second cousin who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.   He was trying to knock off incumbent senator Pat Roberts (R), but his campaign died when a Topeka reporter busted him back in February about x-ray images of gunshot victims posted on his Facebook page.   Roberts thumped him by seven points.

Serves your azz right for dissing the POTUS.

Honorable mention number six goes to Laura Ingraham, who opened mouth and inserted pumps on her radio show Wednesday to say that giving transkids hormone therapy is 'child abuse'.

There are many transgender children and their parents who would probably love to call your ignorant butt out for saying something so monumentally stupid.

Honorable mention number seven goes to Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) for trying to trying to pull out the vcitim card and claim that the Democrats are waging a War On White People.

Silly Teapublican.  It's your own party that's waging that War on White People and 'errbody else' not in the 1% by not expanding Medicare, refusing to do infrastructure projects, raise the minimum wage....

Millionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump. Photo: Screenshot via YouTube. This week's Shut Up Fool Award goes to Donald Chump Trump

If you thought there was any shred of decency left in the man, he removed all doubt he had it when as part of a Twitter rant, wrote that American healthcare workers Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol, who were infected with the Ebola virus while on humanitarian missions, not be allowed back into the country for treatment.

Trump tweeted that healthcare workers “must suffer the consequences,” for their humanitarian impulses.

Why don't you 'suffer the consequences' and spend some of your megabucks to go to Bosley to exchange that squirrel on top of your head for some real hair?

Donald Trump, you're fired, er shut up fool.

Shut Up Fool Awards-Moni's Flying Home Edition

After spending a few days in Boston, I'm enroute back to the Lone Star State after handling my business at the NABJ convention.

While I had fun taking part on yesterday's panel, it's time for me to head back to the Lone Star State and the HERO defense battle.

But it's also Friday, and yes it's time to determine what fool , fools or group of fools get this week's Shut Up Fool Award.

Honorable mention number one is The GOP led House for going on a five week vacation and setting the standard for congressional non-productivity.

Don't you have more important things to do like, you know, run the country?   Since that seems to be such a difficult task for you Teapublicans, it's time to relieve you of that responsibility on November 4.

Honorable mention number two is Iowa US senate candidate and current Iowa state senator Joni Ernst, who's  had too many washes, sets and rinses at the GOP Stepford Salon.    Ernst said at a 2013 forum that Congress shouldn't pass laws that states will nullify.

Guess Ernst was asleep during government class.  FEDERAL laws take precedence over STATE ones.  The unanimous 1958 Cooper v. Aaron decision added and exclamation point to that debunked argument.says that FEDERAL laws take precedence over state ones.

If you don't know that fundamental fact Joni, you don't deserve to be in the US Senate.

Honorable mention number three is Michael Peroutka, the Maryland GOP candidate who got busted singing Dixie at a 2012 pro-secessionist convention.  In his zeal to prove he wasn't racist.....well, you know

Honorable mention number four is Michelle Goldberg for that full of fail TERF love letter that got published in the New Yorker.

Honorable mention number five is a joint Uncle Ruckus award for kneegrow sellouts Eric Knowles and Robert Broadus, who stood next to the 'I'm not racist' Peroutka and cooned it up for their GOP massa.

This week's winner is our homegrown King Hater Dave Welch.

When you call for imprecatory prayers in a HERO fight you and your pseudo-faith based haters are losing, you win hands down

Dave Welch, go to hell, oops shut up fool

Shut Up Fool Awards-Texans Opening 2014 Training Camp Edition

It  was not a great 2013 NFL for me or my fave NFL team.. year.  I had the worst year ever of NFL prognostication after coming into it as the defending champion against newbie Eli and Mike Watts.

Eli walked away with the 2013 prognostication title as I brought up the rear thanks largely to the Texans collapse..

After starting out 2-0, they went 0-14 the rest of the way.   That led to longtime coach Gary Kubiak's firing after an embarrassing season sweep by Jacksonville and interim coach and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips and the rest of the coaching staff getting sacked after the season. in favor of Bill O' Brien.

The 2-14 trainwreck of a season resulted in the Texans landing the number one draft pick which they used to select South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney.

So another NFL season is rapidly approaching as the start of NFL training camps today around the country including here in H-town signals.   I'm also planning to redeem myself in this year's NFL prognostication contest and will have more details about who I'll be picking games against as we get closer to NFL Opening Weekend September 4-7.

But enough jibber-jabber about football.   It's Friday, and time for me to select our first round draft choices for our weekly TransGriot  Shut Up Fool Awards.  It's time to determine who needs to be sacked for their off the charts hypocrisy, willful ignorance and mind numbing stupidity.

So let's get to it

Honorable mention number one is a group award for the NFL.   You suspend Joshua Cribbs for a year for smoking weed, but Ray Rice knocking out his girlfriend turned wife only merits a two game suspension?

WTF?

Honorable mention number two is Governor Goodhair, AKA Rick Perry, (R-TX).  His pandering on the border is going to cost Texas taxpayers a few million dollar and not going to do anything to solve the humanitarian crisis of kids streaming north from Central America to escape narcogang violence our drug habits and lax gun laws unleashed.

Honorable mention number three is Bert Farias, who laughably said that gay people are possessed by fart demons.   Hmm sounds like somebody had writer's block when they were compiling a sermon and was watching too much of the movie Dogma that night.

Honorable mention number four goes to the AFA's and Fox contributor Sandy Rios, who in her transphobic  rant against the POTUS' executive order opened her lips to say that transgender FBI agents will come after you.

Gee Sandy, what were you snorting to come up with that one?

Honorable mention number five goes to Bryan Fischer, who engaged in more Obama Derangement Syndrome antics by stating that President Obama was going to use the Malaysian Airlines crash in Ukraine to advanmce his radical homosexual agenda

Bryan, we're tired of you lying through your teeth to advance your racist radical dominionist agenda.

Honorable mention number six goes to Teabagger Ted Cruz.   The junior senator from Alberta parted his lips to say something else stupid by claiming the prudent FAA ban on US carriers flying into David Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv after Hamas rockets landed a mile from it was an 'economic boycott against Israel.

You are an embarrassment to the once proud  legacy of Texas congressional and senatorial leaders

Honorable mention number seven is former NFL coach and analyst Tony Dungy, who opened his mouth and inserted cleats into it by hypocritically and homophobically stating he wouldn't have taken Michael Sam in the NFL draft because it would have been a 'distraction', then reversed himself when the condemnation for his comments started raining down on him.

Guess you forgot that you were a 'distraction' when you were hired by the Tampa Bay Bucs as their head coach and the year you won the 'Soul Bowl' against Chicago

Honorable mention number eight is Andrea James for once again selling out the trans community and trying to make the dead argument on behalf of gay males in a Queerty post about the t-word not being a slur when a majority of the community, and especially trans women of color have repeatedly said it is.

NugentThis week's SUF winner (or loser, take your pick) is Ted Nugent.   After two Native American tribes in Washington state and Idaho cancelled gigs for him at their casinos over his racist remarks, support of Daniel Snyder in keeping the offensive nickname of the Washington NFL Franchise and disrespecting Native American culture, Ted fired back by unleashing a diatribe against 'unclean vermin'.

Yeah, right he who didn't bathe for 30 days and crapped his pants so he could dodge getting drafted to fight in Vietnam

Ted Nugent, have several sections of seats at Ford Field and shut the hell up, fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards-Stupidity Is Too Damn High Edition

It's Friday, and you know what that means TransGriot readers.  Time to call out this week's fool, fools or group of fools for this week's TransGriot Shut Up Fool Awards.

Every week I shine the TransGriot spotlight on the people or groups that exhibit outrageous hypocrisy, mind numbing stupidity, overbearing arrogance, and   jaw dropping ignorance for your perusal.

And now, let's get busy revealing this week's fools.

Honorable mention number one we go across The Pond for in British TERF Julie Bindel who asserted being gay is a choice.  I know more than a few peeps in the GL end of the community who have some elegant and not so elegant things to say to her behind on that topic, so I'll let them call her out..   I'll have fun with her the next time she says something transphobic.

Honorable mention number two is a favorite for this year's Shut Up Fool of the Year Award in Rep. Louie Gohmert. (R-TX).  Gohmert Pyle racistly opened his mouth to charge that the POTUS would protect women from 'hundreds of thousands of immigrant rapists'

Who is going to protect us from your hundreds of thousands of hours of clueless and racist jibber-jabber?

Honorable mention number three is Rep Renee Ellmers (R-NC) for her idiotic comment about men needing to bring policy discussion down 'to a woman's level'

hmm, methinks you've had too many washes, sets, and cranial rinses at the GOP Stepford Salon.

Honorable mention number four is ExxonMobil, who got busted by HRC for lying about their non discrimination policies.

Honorable mention number five is the National Library of Singapore, which announced they would be destroying all pro-LGBT books    Still won't change the fact that TBLG people exist in your nation and everywhere else around the world.

Honorable mention number six is Thomas Thorpe, who is facing first degree murder charges in Florida, refused help from the public defender assigned to him because the public defender in question is African-American.

scottpicThis week's Shut Up Fool winner is Tea Klux Klan member Scott Esk, who is running for the Oklahoma legislature as a Teapublican and had comments resurface this week that gays should be stoned to death.  .

Instead of criticizing him, we should be thanking him for being candid enough to reveal he's a homophobic bigot.   He also proves once again why I loathe libertarians even more than I do Republicans.

Election Day is rapidly approaching.  handle your business people.

And oh yeah, Scott Esk, shut up fool!
