Shut Up Fool Awards- Creating Change 2012 Edition

The National Gay and lesbian Task Force hosts an annual National Conference on LGBT Equality that's better known in rainbow activist circles as Creating Change.

the 2012 edition of the event started on the 25th and runs through this weekend in Baltimore, MD.

One of the keynote speakers for it is NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous.

That keynote speech happened last night and I hope you peeps who are there in Charm City for Creating Change have a wonderful time, get your learn on, get reacquainted with old friends, make new ones and are fired up and ready to push for rainbow community human rights when you're done.

I'll just have to hook up with y'all at a later rainbow community conference or event.

Now to move on to my usual Friday TransGriot business of calling out the fool, fool or group of fools that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the only change they were creating was of the negative variety.

This week's SUF nominees were Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, John Aravosis, Ron Paul, Sen Rand Paul (R-KY), John Boehner (R-OH), Eric Cantor (R-VA), Orly Taitz, a group award for Fox Noise and GOProud and Tim Scott (R-SC)

This week's winner is racist Arizona governor Jan Brewer (R)

She made an azz out of herself with her finger wagging display of disrespect aimed at the POTUS, and now she's been caught in the racist lie she weaved claiming the POTUS was 'thin skinned' and 'angry' about her book .

A book which BTW was languishing in sales purgatory until this conveniently staged photo-op.

She also claiming now she 'felt a little bit threatened by him'  Yeah, right.  What next Jan?  You gonna start crying 'white women's tears' all over the Conservasphere and in the media?

Jan Brewer, shut up fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards- First Shut Up Fool of 2012 Edition

We're now six days into 2012 and since it's Friday, you know what that means. It's time to pass out the first of 52 weekly Shut up Fool Awards for the 2K12.

Sadly, the stupidity didn't take a holiday or get left behind in 2011, and we have many fools to choose from this week.

In the running for our initial award of this year are the usual group nominations for the Republican Party and Fox Noise, 2011 Shut Up Fool of The Year Herman Cain, 2009 Shut Up Fool of the Year Michael Steele, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tagg Romney, Pat Robertson, Gov Scott Walker (R-WI), and for the last time since she's suspending her campaign Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN)

Honorable mention goes to Newt Gingrich  for his jacked up comment in which he stated 'he'll come to the NAACP convention (that will be in Houston BTW)  and tell the African-American community why they should be demanding paychecks instead of food stamps'.

The NAACP convention will be here in Houston this July.  We'll be looking forward to calling your bigoted azz out when you and wifey number three get here.

It was so tight between two people I let the people decide who hit me up on my FB page, and the winner of 2012's inaugural Shut Up Fool Award is none other than Mr. Man on Dog himself,  GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum.

In addition to pissing off women and the gay community in the run up to Tuesday's Iowa caucus in which he lost by 8 votes, he pissed off the Black community with this racist dog whistle comment while discussing welfare programs in Iowa..

“I don’t want to make black people’s lives better by giving them someone’s money. I want to give them the opportunity to go out and earn the money.”

Umm dude, it's people who look like you who are the major beneficiaries of welfare, and contrary to right wing opinion, African-Americans do pay taxes.   Besides, your party by attacking governemnt sector and union jobs is erasing our opportunity and other middle class Americans to earn money at good middle class pay rates.

Your fellow conservatives were right about you, and you bring to life a comment describing the Keystone State in which it's said that "Pennsylvania is Pittsburgh in the west, Philadelphia in the east and Alabama in the middle."

Rick Santorum, shut up fool.

2011 Shut Up Fool Of The Year

It's the day you all have been waiting for.   Every week I sort though the ignorance and stupidity among us to select a TransGriot Shut Up Fool of the week    But there are just some people or groups of people who just continue to take ignorance and stupidity to new and mind numbing levels.

This was the person who won the inaugural Shut Up Fool! Of The Year Award in 2009, and here's the winner of the 2010 edition.   Who will join them this year?   Or will I issue my first ever Shut Up Fool! of the year to a group?

These were the deserving nominees for the 2011 TransGriot Shut Up Fool! of the Year Award.  Megathanks for your help with the nominations TransGriot readers.  These folks will also go into consideration for the 2012 Shut Up Fool! Lifetime Achievement Award which will be revealed on Oscars weekend.

I know you peeps are anxious on both sides of the International Date Line to find out who won, so let's get this started shall we?

The nominees for the 2011 Shut Up Fool! of the Year Award are:  Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, group nominations for Fox Noise, the WWBT's, the Republican Party, the Tea Klux Klan and GOProud, Dan Savage, Marcus Bachmann, Ron Paul, Barney Frank, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Jesse Lee Peterson, the Phelps Phamily, Virginia Foxx, Louie Gohmert and Allen West

Time to cut the jibber-jabber and announce our winner (Moni cracks knuckles and opens envelope).

The 2011 Shut Up Fool of the Year is Herman Cain

Cain richly deserved this award after cooning it up during his run for the GOP nomination.   While doing a speech in which he excoriated people to reread the Constitution, he mistakenly claimed that the phrase 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' was in it.

He claimed Black people were 'brainwashed' against conservatives, told the OWS protestors to 'blame themselves' if they didn't have a job and weren't successful, and said he wouldn't have a Muslim in his cabinet.

After he surged to the lead of the GOP presidential contenders and news surfaced he been accused of sexual harassment, said it was 'a lie and dirty politics' as the number of women making the same claims rose and knowledge of a 13 year affair with Ginger White became public. .

He also displayed his grasp of issues during a bungled interview he didn't need to know who the president of Ubi-Becky-bekistan is (FYI the president of Uzbekistan is Islam Karimov), said in an interview with Barbara Walters not long after he suspended his cratering campaign he wants to be considered for Secretary of Defense, a cabinet position in which having a grasp of geography, world history and the current politics in various nations is essential.

For doing his best Uncle Ruckus impersonation while running for the GOP nomination for president, Herman Cain gets the 2011 Shut Up Fool! of the Year Award.

Congratulation Herman, and Shut Up Fool!

Shut Up Fool Awards- Last Shut Up Fool For 2011 Edition

Well folks, time flies when you're exposing fools on a weekly basis. Was it only 364 days ago we were getting over our buzz from the New Year's Eve 2011 celebrations and dealing with the reality of giddy Tea Klux Klan members and Republifools crowing about the results of the 2010 midterms?

What a difference 364 days make.

Well, as you TransGriot readers know, it's Friday and time for me to reveal who the last Shut Up Fool award winner for 2011 will be.  I will also reveal tomorrow before you head out to get your New Year's Eve partying on who I chose for this year's Shut Up Fool of the Year.

So first things first.   Who wan the last Shut Up Fool for 2011?

As always we had a tight competition for this coveted award.   Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, a group award for Fox Noise, a group award for PETA, Mitt Romney,Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson and Sen. Mitch McConnell

The envelope please.

The last Shut Up Fool weekly award winner for 2011 is Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX)

He had a week on the presidential campaign trail in Iowa in which his old racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic newsletters came out and he tried to deny he wrote the racist and homophobic parts.

Yeah, right.   The same person who just four years ago declined to 'refudiate' the endorsement of the neo-nazi group Stormfront.

He then accepted an endorsement from genocide pimp Rev. Phillip G. Kayser who has advocated the execution of gay people  So tell me again how Ron Paul’s approach to government is consistent with Christian beliefs?.

And the next person with vanillacentric privilege I hear on the liberal progressive side who openly advocates supporting this man's presidential bid I'm going to look at you like you're stuck on stupid, which you are..

And y'all wanna know why I can't stand his or his son's racist behind.

Ron Paul, Happy New Year and shut up fool!
