A September 8 deadline is quickly approaching for the 2014 HBCU LGBT Leadership and Career Summit which will take place October 4-7 in our nation's capitol.
According to Samantha Master, there are currently 8 remaining slots for LGBTQ students at
historically Black colleges that need to be filled and you are encouraged to apply for. Summit participants are provided a full scholarship to DC which includes travel, lodging and meals.
Additionally, the Trans Women of Color Collective of Greater New York's Lourdes Ashley Hunter will be keynoting this year. She is the first trans woman to keynote this important summit.
