Get Ready To Rumble, er Debate!

Tonight is the first of the three presidential debates on the University of Mississippi campus in Oxford, assuming John McCain shows up to take his azz whupping like a man.

Time for me to get in boxing announcer mode.

In this corner, at 6 foot 4 inches tall from Chicago, Illinois Barack 'Change Is Good' Obamaaaaaaaaa...

And in this corner, at 5 foot 10 inches tall from Sedona, Arizona, at 5 foot 10, John 'the Ancient Mariner' McCainnnn.

Let's get ready to rumbllllllle.

This one's supposed to be focused on foreign policy, but who knows, it wouldn't surprise me if a question on the current financial mess pops in.

At any rate, I'll be tuned in at 9 PM EDT to watch the fun. And I'm really looking forward to watching Sarah Palin's stupid (yeah I said it) behind crash and burn versus Sen. Joe Biden.

I think that the debate was a draw but Obama has got to stop saying that McCain is right. Never concede that kind of thing to your opponent.

I'd agree that he should never say McCain's right about anything, but in general, Obama won - and since this one was on foreign policy, McCain should have won by most people's reckoning. That it was close is a victory for Obama,

Should be fun to watch Biden next week. Biden v. Palin in a debate is about like putting Pewee Herman in the ring against The Rock - except Pewee Herman is smarter than Palin.

but the thing i worry about is the expectations and the bar set for Palin is so low now a toddler could jump over it.
